/me they aren't awards.  They are notations in The Book Of Vengeance.  At least that is what I seem to recall The Book's name as being.

My memory loss is worse than just getting older.  It's bad enough that it was a major part of me getting disablity.

My dad had Parkinson's for some years before he died. Some days, he didn't know who I was. If my kids visited, he thought they were his kids. Some days, he was lucid. But he could talk about WW II and high school like it happened recently. Memory is weird.
