Huzzah! The main comic returns!

A crowded nighttime city street; Moperville? Seems too crowded relative to what we've seen in past comics. An elf girl, who appears to be a new character, hears the thoughts of everyone around her. Talk about someone the government would like to get their hands on. They'd have to be clever, she'd hear them coming.

I have to wonder why she is in this situation. Why wouldn't she avoid crowds if they annoy her?

Needs to get somewhere badly enough to accept the pain, is my guess; who did she bump into is my next question.

She put me in mind of Noah, I thought she might be another Seyunolo until I noticed the ears. Still  possible, I suppose.

Given that a common fan name for post reset Pandora is Hope, it's possible that The Dan is throwing a bone to FanFic writers.  This is based on the name of the arc.

“Elpida” would be the Ancient Greek name meaning “Hope”, if Dan is planning on her keeping to the Greek Mythology theme.

Hope is what remained after Pandora opened the Pithos.

Can we hope for resolution to her story?

I'd settle for a meeting with the people she considers family, and I'd like to see her meet Sarah again.

I think she's foreshadowed to continue to be an active character.

Pure speculation: She just rebooted, the reboots have been relatively clueless and/or irresponsible. But Zeus aged/kind of matured fast. Pandora/Hope is going to be different, she retained memories, and she will actually feel connected to family. She might want their help assimilating, maybe she seeks them out an more or less joins the main crew? This might need a major handicap to work.

This girl reads minds. Pandora read minds in the mall, when she was acting like a survey taker and marking folks. Maybe it is her. The handicap could be the voices in her head are overwhelming.

Helena and Demetrius are exceptions in terms of taking so long to get over their “scatterbrained” phase (two and a half years when we last saw them during “Not a Date at the Mall” during January in story-time), due to their reset having been interrupted and messed up.

Can't find the comic that made me think so, but I've long been under the impression that some other immortal (Pandora?) "murdered" them, hence their poor recovery.

While I don''t doubt they got their scatter braininess from an improper reset, nothing indicates it was another immortal.  My head canon is that they took on a vampire that was stronger than they thought or it got the drop on them.
