Camdin knows Lucy, and it seems pony tail guy recognizes someone(s). Perhaps they were older boys in school in the past that Diane and Lucy dated?

It's common  to date one maybe two year older or younger than you in high school, so that possible.

Alternatively, they may be classmates of Rhea.

Do we know know how much older Rhea is then Diane?  Charlotte is only a year ahead of her.

I don't think so, because that would make Diane the monster.  Of course they might not know who Luke was calling the monster.

Diane, being a half-elf, is potentially very powerful magically, but we don’t know how that appears in Luke’s vision. Andrea had also commented that Diane additionally has the talents to be a Vampire Slayer.

We do know at present that the Verres/Kitsune clan are Royal-class mages, and that Rhoda also qualifies as Royal-tier.
