Guessing what happened, Po shot a target that was no longer there, so the beam rebounded. 

And she's trying again. Good plan.

I wonder what she thought the beams did. Voltaire probably lied to her.

She has no idea how Tedd tested and developed the technology.  If she knew anything about Tedd, she would have known this was the default setting.

Well, now we know the last setting on one of the T-guns. Is Po about to zap mist? The guns seem almost designed for poor trigger discipline and accidental firing.

As I said, she didn't know Tedd.  Particularly in the pre Grace years.

Interestingly for someone who is supposedly damned-near omniscient, Voltaire didn't to understand Tedd in the post-Grace years. It's almost as though he had formed an opinion of a useful-looking seer who was, let's face it a total mess and then didn't bother to see if he was getting any better after he acquired a group of loving, supportive friends. He doesn't appear to shared good intel with Po and Mist either. Is he just that cocky and careless?

He definitely comes across to me as the sort who believes that he knows better than everyone else. I wonder if he isn’t already past the usual age for a reset.

Pandora said of herself she was near omniscient; I don't think that applies across the board. For hanging on as long as she did relative to the normal reset, she kept it together pretty well.

Yes, I think so. I know people who are like that, and he has the same vibe.

There is no evidence that this incarnation of Col. Sanders is way overdue on reset, so he may not be as near omniscient as Pandora was at her “height”. He may actually be as clueless as it seems these turkeys are

I believe the trend of reader opinion is that he THINKS he's near omniscient.

So Col. Sanders has a bad case of "Dunning–Kruger effect".  That fits what we know of him.
