A kind of an endearing comic that does little to propel the arc forward. Also, Elliot is once again too insightful, must be that princely training.

If the Prince had not guessed Hope's intent, we could have enjoyed at least five more weeks of shenanigans reminiscent of Three's Company. 

Now we need to establish a new premise for the next set of shenanigans.

Perhaps a lifetime of being guarded by people who were unsuccessfully trying to hide the fact he was under constant surveillance.

Pandora had an aversion to “bad sitcom hijinks”.  I suspect that followed over to Hope.

Bad sitcom hijinks are too predictable, and she preferred something that could surprise her.

There are very few modern American TV shows that are actually, as a group, surprising.
