So what other secrets are hiding in the Dunkle house? 

Somehow, It will involve Houdini And Lovecraft. I'll bet one next-to-nothing on that.

I've got all my Quatloos on some sort of Magical Incident at college that introduced the both to Magic and Dad to a career path that led to his current job.  I still think both were involved with DGB at some point.

Harry Houdini himself died 100 years ago this year, so even Arthur would never have met him in person. Going by character ages when EGS started, Mr. and Mrs. Dunkel were Generation X and were teenagers during the 1980s, while the current teen cast are younger-end Millennials. (Based on EGS beginning in January 2002, the main teen cast were born 1984-6.)

Mr. and Mrs. Dunkel have become the most interesting characters in the comic. I hope we see more of them.

I'm starting to think that they are in the top five interesting characters.  Hope, Tedd and Grace are ahead of them.
