Ashey doesn't have to let Susan steal Elliot, she's probably willing to share. I don't believe Ashley is aware that Catalina had a crush on Susan though, it'd be amusing to see her reaction to that if it comes up.

Well Susan herself told us why she didn't want to tell Diane how she knew about Adrian already, nor did she apparently want to get into the fact that he felt strangely familiar to her even though she could have just said she probably seen him at the mall numerous times before and felt he was trustworthy, Diane might have believed that better. As for undisputed teacher from hell, I would dispute that, he acted pretty strangely early on with regards to Ellen and Grace, and from Nanase's perspective, he expects hard work from students especially if he feels they have a lot of potential. The fact that Nanase's mom doesn't like him much is likely due to what happened between Edward and Noriko, though it might have also been due to him trying to get her to embrace her magic aptitude if she didn't want to. We do have evidence that Adrian isn't hellish in how he treats his students, I mean he tries to give good advice. In a slightly related note. I had mentioned in an earlier thread about what Susan knew about Adrian, I think I forgot to mention that Grace had told Adrian about Jerry. I would imagine that Susan didn't want to mention knowing Ellen, Grace and Nanase, nor Jerry because she might not have wanted to reveal Adrian's true nature to Diane just yet.

So on Monday, John dunsworth, the actor who played Jim Lahey on Trailer Park Boys, passed away. Last night, Gord Down of the Tragically Hip passed away. Easiest way to remember both is with one song (and video):

She's probably going to end up saying that, or maybe Diane will jump to that conclusion, on Friday. Diane does know that Ellen and Nanase knows Susan personally, they're the reason Susan and Diane are meeting. I wonder though if Diane knew that Adrian had been taken to the hospital the day of the "gas leak and crazed stalker from Ellen's past" and might assume that Adrian tried to protect Ellen. We don't really know how rich or poor her adopted family was. My impression is that they were comfortable enough to adopted two kids, they're already putting one through college and they probably plan on Diane going to college as well. Diane doesn't have a job that we know of so we don't know if she's got her own income or still on an allowance. The fact that she has a card doesn't mean much, debit cards are easy to get and don't require a steady income.

Sometimes it's the hassle of having to adjust to change is what keeps people from wanting any changes to be made, more often than not, once people have made the adjustment, they find that things are nowhere near as bad as they thought it'd be.

We haven't seen Liz's reaction to seeing the news Saturday night, nor her reaction to hearing about Edward's manufactured Cheerleadra sighting later on, considering Ashley seemed to be pretty relaxed last we saw her, we could probably assume either Liz never asked anything, or Ashley was successful in her cover story, or at least sucessfull enough for Edward's plan to finish convincing Liz.

Liz is part of Susan's feminist club, or at least was for the last 3-4 months of the previous year of high school. Dunno if Susan considered recreating the club for Senior year though. It is funny how a few pages ago Liz was talking about waiting till college to experiment, but now it's seems she's maybe been making a list of people she'd want to experiment with. Of course, whether that is canon is certainly debatable.

When Tedd was told that the watches wouldn't work anywhere else in the world, it seemed a given that they'd be severely limited in who would be able to use them, like high powered awakened magic users. Tedd of course could, he's a well of power after all. Nanase might be able to use them, but it'd be unlikely that anyone else could.

I dunno, with Sarah clearing up a lot of the ambient energy with her spell so that there'd be no issues when removing the dam, the energy level will be lower when the flow gets going again. As Sarah's taking chomps out and the energy will try to fill in the holes, but if she's using up more energy than is flowing into the area, then the boundary of the reservoir is likely shrinking.

Yesterday I got into two discussions with the same person on Discord that didn't go well.. The first ended up being deleted by the moderator/owner so I can't remember exactly what was said, but it started with me stating my interpretation of yesterday's Story comic, they made a comment disagreeing and I tried to explain my case better. At some point they start yelling at me (all caps) saying that I'm not reading what they're saying even though I am but I'm just picking certain points to discuss further because I feel that maybe they misunderstood what I was saying about it, but it only seemed to piss them off more and then I felt like I was being attacked for how I was interpreting things. It was at that point the moderator stepped in and deleted the conversation and I went off to work. Later last night, that person came on again and made a cross reference about their username, their perceived skill with a specific Overwatch character versus their actual skill with it, and equated it to EGS terms, I got the reference but I wanted to know more about what made them perceive they skill with that character a certain way, I've played Overwatch some, I wasn't trying to give advice on how to play. My entire thought process was "I don't have anything to add to what they were conveying, but I would like to talk about Overwatch gameplay" and I tried to explain that when they again attacked me for missing the point of what he was saying, and then called BS on my attempts to clarify what I was trying to say. I'm not trying to BS anyone. In the second instance, I was just trying to be social, just because I didn't comment on what the intended message was and instead focused on another aspect doesn't meant I'm trying to hijack the coversation, heck no one else commented on it so I didn't think there was a conversation to begin with so I tried starting one, it didn't have to go on for hours or anything, but the person could have just answered my question instead of getting mad. For the first instance, I was only doing what I do here in reaction threads, I'm not trying to start arguments, I'm just trying to convey my interpretation of things, one of the arguments against me was that I don't read what is said in the comics. But I do, it's just not the only thing I look at. I try to look at everything in the comic, I look at facial expressions to figure what kind of tone the dialog is being spoken in, I look at what was said in comics leading up to that point, as well as figure out the tones of what's said so that I can determine if there's a change in mood. When coming up with theories about things, I try to find evidence to support it. If someone posts something with several points to counter what I said and I pick one of two to focus on, it's because those are the ones I disagree with or I feel a person misunderstood what I was saying and those were points I thought needed clarify. If I missed something that impacts my interpretation, I'll accept that, I have admitted to being wrong before, but just saying that I'm pulling stuff out of my butt isn't something I appreciate. Anyway, I'm sorry if I ever made anyone frustrated with me over stuff like this, it's just how my mind works and I'd rather people try to help me understand things instead of being beat down about it.

That's pretty much why Noriko and Edward hooked up, they were so certain that Tedd was guaranteed to be a wizard, that must have been the case throughout the generations of Noriko's family. It does make me wonder if Mr Kitsune is a wizard. If so, then it's probably guaranteed that Akiko has a strong potential to become a magic user (if there's no interference from immortals) but if he's not, then the chance that Akiko would be a wizard is probably 50/50 just like Nanase's was.

That comes with it's own set of expectations, and freedom of speech tends to get abused quite a bit with the "I can say whatever I want and you can't stop me" mentality but at least freedom of speech also allows people the right to deal with the jerks. It's not so much earning the right to speak, but earning the respect of others so that your words are heard and not ignored. That can't really be applied to the second amendment the same way. There's safety to consider with regards to guns, and any weapon.

Given that in canon, Liz doesn't know what Ashley's gotten herself into by dating Elliot, the emphasis on "you" as referring to Ashley would be more for the benefit of being vague in front of Liz, not vague for us. Dan's been pretty open about what canon stuff he shows us in this*, I don't thing he'd suddenly be vague about this. *In the case of the previous scene with Nanase's family, it is canon that Mama Kitsune knows that Nanase's become a magic user, Nanase is 100% certain that her mom knows but isn't keen of discussing anything with her yet. And Akiko has witnessed someone using magic, so their interaction in a non canon situation doesn't reveal any new canon info.

True, but that revelation hasn't come forth yet and still, she doesn't know that Tedd's a wandmaker (well no one else knows either as far as we know, though I'd be surprised if he hasn't told Grace in the morning, though maybe he's waiting for a good moment to tell everyone at once?) I'm pretty certain Hanma was addressing Ashley given Ashley's response, not only was she facing Ashley when she said so, but Liz's statement was that Ashley worried about going mad with power, Hanma's just saying that's inevitable anyway.

What you proposed sounds reasonable, the idea being that gun owners should earn the right, prove that they are competent in their handling and basically give a fair warning that abuse will not be taken lightly. I can't help but think that the main resistance to there being a registry and background checks/psych evals is because those people have details that would prevent them from getting licensed, past weapon related felonies, anger management issues, etc, and there's just enough of them to be a vocal minority.

Pandora made her intentions clear when she was talking to Sarah that she was going to tell Adrian about everything on Saturday, so it wouldn't make sense to suddenly appear at the mall now. That could very well change when crap hits the fan of course, but at the moment Pandora has no reason to alter her plan.

The question is, was Hanma refering to Liz, or Elliot in the last panel? If it's Elliot, my guess would be that they go mad with power together, and go on a spree of transforming jerks into they types of people they're being jerks to everywhere.

In regards to marking Diane, I just don't think Pandora would do so in secret. Pandora wanted to talk to Adrian about it before she told anyone else, I would think she'd want to wait unto after she did that before she goes and introduces herself to Diane and Susan and that would be the best opportunity to offer to mark Diane. Pandora is trying to focus on not messing things up even further so marking relatives without their consent wouldn't be on her to do list. In regards to Adrian's relation to Susan and Diane, it just doesn't make sense for Adrian to not remember Susan if she was his daughter, and not question if Diane was his as well. You state that it could be possible he didn't notice any resemblance between him and Diane because Nanase didn't see any resemblance between Diane and Susan until it was pointed out, but again, if Adrian was Mr Pompoms then he should remember living with Susan for several years, I would think that Adrian would not forget that so easily. Also I just can't see Adrian living such a double life being Mr. Raven the teacher at MSHS and Mr. Pompoms the cheating cheater who cheats. I would also think that Pandora would have known about this as well and probably not approved. It would make a lot more sense if Adrian had a relationship with a woman several decades ago, got her pregnant but was convinced that it couldn't have been his, and that child grew up to be Susan and Diane's father. In regards to Dan's comment about it back then, he could still have been dropping hints, but not be entirely accurate about it, like the twist that Susan was related to Adrian would be true, but saying that Adrian's her father wouldn't necessarily be accurate.

Them being his children doesn't make sense to me though because it puts into question who Mr Pompoms was, it couldn't have been Adrian because that would have meant that Adrian lived with Susan for several years, but that couldn't be because Adrian would have question the legitimacy of him being the father when Mrs Pompoms became pregnant. I also don't think Mrs Pompoms would have had her own affair as it would turn her into a hypocrite and the revelation that not only did she have an affair as well, but had passed Susan off at being Mr Pompom's daughter would just crush Susan. I honestly don't think Pandora has marked anyone since the Card Tournament, Sarah and Tedd were likely the last ones that she marked, and I don't believe that after the revelation of her possible relation to Diane and Susan that she would mark Diane without appearing to her and explaining everything. Pandora's got a lot on her plate right now between her talks with Sarah and Tedd and Jerry 2.0, she knows what Susan's capable of, she know's Jerry's watching them, she doesn't want to complicate things further.

Nanase was certainly the most likely due to her family lineage. Something I just thought of, considering the comic where Grace questions the illusion Adrian put on her is referenced in the commentary as "relevant" I'm going to guess that seeing Susan is reminding him of that. I wonder if Adrian's going to come to the conclusion that his statement that he couldn't have children is false before Pandora tells him. If so that could be bad as Adrian might assume that Pandora intentionally lied to him about it when she only just realized that one of her previous lives lied about it.

Yes ... it seems Mr. Raven is doing something else than just going to buy something ... I think we overlooked one reason that Adrian could be at the mall. Charity work helping military veterans.
