So, the US department of Justice has announced that they're suing North Carolina over the whole anti-trans bathroom law. That's not what makes me mad. Reading some of the reactions makes me mad, like how many feel that doing this will allow perverts and pedophiles to be able to sneak into women's bathrooms to spy and rape. someone even commented saying "they're making the .04% trans comfortable by putting the 50% female population at risk." WTF? As far as I'm concerned trans people go to the bathroom for the same reason most of us do, to have a piss or crap, not to peek under bathroom stalls, it's more like the law NC put out would "criminalize the .04% trans so that they could keep out the .00000005% sex offenders" (all percentages based on the tweet I saw and I highly doubt they are accurate anyway). If people are worried about sex offenders posing as members of the opposite sex to sneak into public bathrooms, then the laws for sexual offenses needed to be beefed up more. Also a lot of the reactions focus on those that are born male but identify as female using female bathrooms, I hadn't seen any mention of those born female identifying as male and I wonder if it because those same people that are complaining about this would be like "well that that's their risk if they want go into a bathroom with real men and it's their fault if anything happens". It does seem like the majority of those complaining about this are males while a lot that are defending this action and debating against the complaints are female. But still it was really aggravating to see the stupidity in all that.

Yeah, I mean, we've seen Elliot being attracted to males before, 2 times were under the influence of the TFG adjusting his sexual preference, and once under the influence of secret ID mind alteration, but as far as his normal female forms, he's still strongly attracted to females and I don't really see that changing. I guess it really depends on if Ashley finds out about the TFG and wants to try out one of the male variants. Although based on Grace and Tedd's relationship, sexual preference wouldn't likely matter. This is very much a "your mileage may vary" situation. Everyone given a similar situation to Elliot will react and adjust differently.

We've already got 2 instances of Elliot foreshadowing, the first has already come true (Elliot introducing Ashley to Cheerleadra) and the second will likely happen in the next couple story arcs (things not being as simple as having Edward deal with the vampire issue and Diane), I've felt like this arc has been in wind-down mode since the spider vampire was killed, I'd rather not have something draw it out any longer. This arc is 12 pages from equaling the card tournament portion of Squirrel Prophet (20 pages if you include the Friday morning at school portion) which is funny because Dan promised this arc would be shorter: Not criticizing though just found it funny.

It's also possible that Elliot still identifies as male, but can enjoy being female. To Elliot, this may actually be less of a gender identity issue and more of "I'm not going to be a stick in the mud about this and just acknowledge the fact that this is soo freaking amazing".

It's a flawed plan though, because if he's trying to stop Pandora's plan by disrupting the Main Eight, it would probably cause the others to want to avenge him, which would likely work in favour of Pandora's plan. You know Tedd and Ellen for sure will go apes&*t, probably even vow to kill all Immortals.

He's stated before that he can either got from Cheerleadra to normal, or one of the secret ID's, if he wanted to use a standard female morph, he'd have to go normal first. Ashley would love Goth Elliot, but I think he's right in thinking he shouldn't be in a mind altered state. While amusing for us, could be disastrous for Elliot.

Voltaire would have to be nearly as old as Pandora for that to work though I think, could an Immortal carry a grudge like that through a reset? Also he's specifically targeting Elliot here, if he was fighting against Pandora, he should be targeting everyone that Pandora has affected. Those whom Pandora gave marks to should be high priority as well.

Yeah, I imagine it wouldn't take much digging for Sirleck to find out that Adrian is Ellen's teacher. This really is a tricky spot. Voltaire lied about Adrian being Helena or Demetrius's son. but a quick update with Magus would reveal that he's really Pandora's. Either Sirleck's going to act without giving Magus a progress report, or he does and believes Abner lied to him about everything (because how can Sirleck be sure what the real Abner said was true if what the fake Abner said isn't). Maybe Voltaire is setting things up so any loose ends will end up tieing themselves. Like Sirleck either attacking Adrian and getting killed, or attacking Abner and finding out how much of a mage he is. Maybe something further along in the plot will end up killing Sirleck. Voltaire may probably, in a round about way, be trying to kill several birds with one stone.

When Adrian revealed that he was half immortal, Abraham exclaimed that Adrian was the one he sensed earlier. We know Immortals can hide their power, we saw it when Edward, Wolf and Cranium encountered Pandora in the woods, and then later when Adrian was in the hospital he stated that an "Immortal whose power can't be sense wishing to trick someone who could sense magic potency would be wise to not disguise themself as one of the most powerful wizards in the mid-western US", this would suggest that Adrian isn't capable of hiding his power despite being half Immortal. However Adrian does have a pretty good sense of "taste" when it comes to detecting magic, so I'm willing to bet that Sirleck gives off a rather spicy magic taste that Adrian would pick up on pretty easily. What do you base that statement on? I don't see anything that clearly points either way on whether Sirleck was aware that elves are possible. I think he does know that half Immortals are possible, we don't know how old Sirleck is but it's possible he either met one before or heard about them.

I think before we could travel through time, we'd have to figure out a way to fully cleanse ourselves of any diseases that could potentially be 10-100x worse than anything in the time periods we'd visit. Don't want to give the early european settlers PAX Pox.

I dunno, some people believe he's trying to thwart Pandora's plans, but if that's the case, he's being very aggressive about if he thinks killing Elliot would do so. I think he's got some other agenda and is taking advantage of what Pandora started to accomplish it.

But there's more motivation for Sirleck to possess Magus, Magus essentially gave Sirleck an open invitation for possession by stating that he's a nobody in this world, there'd be no friends or family to suspect that something is wrong with Magus, and Sirleck would probably be able to get away with a lot before government agencies started taking notice. Attempting to possess Adrian would likely attract Pandora's attention almost immediately , at the very least she'll notice the next time she goes to check on Adrian. It'd be way too risky to do.

I didn't mean you specifically, it's just that it seemed like a bunch of people had jumped on the idea that Sirleck now wants to possess Adrian that I felt the need to point out that we don't know if it's possible. I still thinks it's more likely that Sirleck would think that Adrian could be used as bait to distract Helena and Demetrius, which is very likely what Voltaire expects.

No, but by that same logic, we shouldn't assume that Sirleck just decided that he wants to possess Adrian.

Dan has already stated that it's not Pandora, because Pandora is visiting Sarah during all this.

We're not even sure if Sirleck can possess Adrian, his Immortal side could make him immune to possessions by bodysnatchers, either that or Adrian is able to sense aberrations nearby and has the same desire to destroy them as Immortals do and because Sirleck's an aberration, Adrian shouldn't be bound by his restrictions.

Yeah, his plan is destined to fail mainly because I don't think Dan would kill off a main character. The riots that ensue would rival those of hockey fans after their team either wins or loses the Stanley Cup.
