  1. Noah as River
  2. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

a couple people have said he's a 2nd generation seyunolu, so maybe the limitation only applies to first generation cases? I'm not sure where the 2nd generation comes from, the only mention of 2nd generation was in reference to William being 2nd generation Uryoum born on Earth. Ok, Archie in Ellen's second life alternate reality is 2nd generation Seyunolu. If we do consider Archie as Noah's alternate, then yes Noah can be 2nd generation, but we don't have anything that confirms this though aside from the both of them having blond hair and antennae on the backs of their head. Facial features are nothing alike, Archie is nowhere near feminine enough to look like Noah.

Innate abilities may be considered rare because some (like Sarah's ability) are so hard to detect. Jerry didn't see it, either because he was in the process of dying or not old and powerful enough to peer that deep into Sarah's potential, so he defaulted to whatever she yearned for.

I am aware, that didn't stop me from being silly.
  6. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

... why is Ellen's cooperation needed? I think he means the fact that it was Ellen that was against telling Susan she's adopted because Mrs Pompoms should be doing that herself soon now that Susan's 18 and that it'd be better if Susan's adopted mom told her rather than her friends. Of course now that Nanase really wants to get Diane and Susan to meet, Ellen should agree to Nanase's backup plan about talking to Mrs Pompoms first and convincing her that Susan needs to know. Or that Not-Tengu didn't planned to stay in Moperville. Also possible, I did say that it "could imply". Ellen's beam actually is Earth magic, it's a spell that the dewitchery diamond gave her that mimics the delivery of the curse that affected Elliot, Tedd's TFG. I actually wonder if the fact that Elliot was under the effect of a non-Earth based enchantment that confused the diamond and caused their improper awakenings. Maybe... Plot twist: Ellen is the original and Elliot's the duplicate and the diamond got the curse mixed up. Nah.
  7. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

The note could have been done with special ink and paper taken from Adrian's desk. But the ability to be all shadowy and such might support the idea that Greater Seyunolus can harness both types of energy. I had theorize a while back about the possibility that Noriko, having been frustrated over Tedd not having any magic potential, might have gone to the facility that Grace was born at and had Mr Guyur infuse one of his eggs with her DNA as well as some of his to make a worthy apprentice for her. That would in essence make Noah both Grace and Tedd's half brother. I would Imagine that Noriko could have left Noah in the care of the scientists until he was old enough to begin training, but Damien's attack probably put a stop to that, I dunno how Adrian becoming Noah's guardian fits here though but maybe Noriko believed that Noah was killed in the attack from Damien. The only thing I can think of that would really support Noah being a child of Noriko is the fact that Not_Tengu not only refered to Tedd as being Noriko's "First born son" but also mentioned "All of Noriko's family will die, her husband, her sister, her children." That could imply that one or more of Noriko's children aside from Tedd is in Moperville.
  8. What's in the Lost and Found?

I'm betting HD-DVD is in there alongside Betamax.
  9. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

The fact that Noah has antennae, there'd have to be some Uryoum DNA in him, so I'm thinking that either it is possible for Seyunolus to acquire the ability to harness Earth based magic alongside Uryuom based abilities, ie: they have 2 separate energy reserves they can draw from, OR, they've learned to mimic Earth based magic using a combination of telekinesis and shapeshifting, this might be more rare and could require specific DNA combinations. Noah might not be your average Seyunolu, just as Grace isn't.
  10. Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)

It's pretty sad because these people are trying to get away from a bad situation, only to go to a country that not only takes the rest of their belongings, but also punishes those that try to help them, and I'm willing to bet if any of the refugees tries to stand up to this form of bullying they'll get accused of being a terrorist, arrested or shot and the government will be like "This is the reason why we have to do this!" And I'm not just talking about Denmark, this could easily be the case in the US or any country where there's a strong anti-muslim sentiment. If you want to fight terrorism, stop treating all the refugees like they're all terrorists, maybe some of them will be more inclined to help point out the ones who actually are. If you make their lives hell, they may not become terrorists, but they likely wouldn't care if a terrorist went and bombed the people that tried to take whatever decency they had left.
  11. Things that make you worried.

Well, just checked tracking again and the package is now in Canada, still feels strange that they insisted on going to Chicago instead of through Detroit.
  12. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

Er... that presupposes that Susan would be able to remember her father's betrayal but not the fact that she has a twin sister. I can't get that to work. Yeah, the best explaination was the adoption would have happened just shortly after birth. If Susan's dad is her biological father then he probably only agreed to adopt one of the twins and the other was adopted by the same couple that adopted Rhea. I kinda wonder if Mrs Pompoms was even capable of having children. Maybe she had asked Mr Pompoms about the possibility of adopting someday and when Mr Pompoms' got his mistress pregnant it would have been easy to say yes to adopting, especially if the mistress didn't want to keep the children in the first place.

http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1654 This one follows up Nanase going over the reasoning, it's safe to assume that Susan told Nanase everything about her ecounter with Jerry considering Nanase is covered by Jerry's promise. Probably like "So you remember our thing back in France where the two Immortals gave us our magic and had us fight the aberration then buggered off? Well Jerry felt they shouldn't have done that so to make up for it he's promised to help us from time to time."
  14. Story: Friday, April 1st 2016

The way I see it was Carol was all frantic rushing in and finding out she just missed Cheerleadra. She then closes her eyes in a "Okay calm down Carol, we can still do something with this can't we? Wait, this is a mall, lots of witnesses!". She would have been so eager to get right to it that she wasn't aware of Phil initially. No special magic ability needed for that, just a one track mindset.
  15. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

It was kinda already implied just after Grace's Birthday, when Susan was considering leaving her hair half blonde/half black and saw the blonde woman she found her dad with in the mirror, the title itself was "The other woman with Susan's face". It's entirely possible Susan's dad is her real dad but had been having flings with the blonde for several years, he might have got her pregnant, and she might have insisted that he "adopt" Susan. I posted the tweets in "The next Story NP" thread last night.
  16. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

No, he said Susan's in the next NP storyline (after Grace's Fallout Adventure) but I am leaning very much to the idea of it being about this.
  17. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

And Elliot's filled in on the whole Susan and Diane situation. Though it looks like Nanase's seriously considering getting the ball rolling on having Diane meet Susan. I'm wondering if it's out of guilt over Diane almost getting killed before she could meet her flesh and blood sister. I'd say Nanase should talk to Diane first though, as I've said, Diane's already figured out that Susan is her sister, but doesn't know Susan's history. Maybe if Nanase told her, Diane would either agree to wait or push the idea of talking to Susan's mom about it.
  18. The next NP story

Dan has tweeted that immediately after the MV5 story is done, the next one will be about Grace playing video games again, the NP "should" last 6 weeks (barring any delays or extra stuff Dan thinks of). He hasn't said what game Grace will be playing but this tweet: I responded back with the guess of Fallout NV (New Vegas) since Dan had been playing a lot of that recently. This got a like from Dan. Now, this may not be confirmation that I guessed correctly, it could be just to acknowledge that I know he's been playing that, but it does make me wonder how Grace would handle playing any Fallout game. I've only played New Vegas and haven't completed it either, but I do know that you can either be the hero type that helps those in need and takes out the bad guys, or you can be a real jerk and steal, kill and double cross for your own gains. We know Grace hates violence, but only when it's real people involved, she's completely fine with movies portraying violence because she knows it's not real and she likes watching the good guys kick arse, so the question is, how would Grace play Fallout? Logically she'd likely play the good guy, but what if she decides to try her hand at being a bad guy for a change, she knows it's just a game, but can she still bring herself to some of the more questionable activities in New Vegas? If it was Fallout 4, I could only see one thing happening. Grace: "I can make roasted dogmeat? Why would I want to eat him!?!?"
  19. The next NP story

Back on the subject of NP stories. Apparently Dan's already started writing for story following Grace's Fallout adventure and stated that Susan would be in it. Of course he hasn't hinted as to what this one would be about so I can't really guess at anything at the moment. Although, it could be a followup to "Playing with Dolls" in which Susan reads her spellbook and tries going first person mode with her fairy. That'd be cool. Scratch that, I think I just figured out what the next NP storyline is.
  20. Story: 2016, April 4th (Monday)

That depends on where you are though, supposedly a lot of areas in the US had fiber lines installed 20-25 years ago but they never actually got around to utilizing it before the dot com bubble burst. Now Google is buying up all this "dark fiber" which is basically how Google Fiber is able to be a thing so quickly.
  21. Things that make you worried.

So, I ordered something online on Monday for my mom's birthday that's coming up towards the end of the month, I just happened to check the tracking status of it, the package started it's journey in Howell, Michigan, but instead of going east to Detroit and then into Canada which would have been a 5-6 hour trip to deliver it to me, it's gone west and is currently in Chicago...which is probably the same distance from Howell to me. I'm paying $16.90 for express priority shipping, odds are it's probably going to be flown from Chicago to Toronto, and then another 3-4 hours to get to me.
  22. Story: 2016, April 4th (Monday)

Elliot was using Tedd's phone in that instance, which I would certainly believe has been properly configured by Edward or else he wouldn't feel comfortable discussing Elliot's sudden transformation and the bloodgrem. I consider that a special case of TFG enhancing a person's attraction to the opposite gender, I guess initially, Susan did hope that Justin would have been a potential boyfriend before she found out he was gay, but after we last saw them, it seems like Susan's just happy to have Justin around.
  23. NP: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

    That's in Fallout 3.
  24. Story: Friday, April 1st 2016

Sarah could also have been a "Ok we got carol off to school now, everythings calmed down some, one of us just got a raise, it'd be nice to have another kid now." baby. It certainly couldn't have been "Lets try for a son this time", or else Sarah probably would have a couple more siblings.
  25. Story: 2016, April 4th (Monday)

The thing is, Susan and Justin aren't attracted to each other sexually, but you can't deny the fact that they've got a special bond. They've confided in each other over various topics, they share similar interests. I can see them having no issue with living together, it'd be like the arrangement that Marten and Faye has, except without any of the sexual tension and Pintsize.
