For some value of functional. In this case "it allows us to post more often than it does not" is the minimum standard i'm using for functional.

Yet it still annoys me to no end. That (especially "disappearing text") is still unresolved since the reincarnation of the forums. Frankenstein's monster was FUNCTIONAL. The forum is functional, it's just not reliable, cooperative, or internally consistent.

It's been pointed out before that the forum's code is quite clearly frankensteined together from multiple sources, and the problems resulting from that mess (disapearing text, broken edit menu, blog section that's a pain in the ass to access (why put it on a sidebar and not include links in said sidebar?!), a forum section for a comic being dead because nobody can reply to the posts, and last time i checked the support section was still nonfunctional... etc.). Yet another bug really does not surprise me.

I don't think grace seeing people as family counts. I'm prety sure Grace sees ALL of the major castmembers, that shes's not interested in romantically, as family. Probably because of how screwed up her "home life" was before "moving" to moperville leaving her with a desire to fill an emotional void.

Isn't the only reason Wicker Man even has fans due to falling into "so bad it's good" territory? What'd they do, fix it just enough to make it just regular bad? -
There actually are character replacements out there, but they need to be enabled server side not client side if you want them to work correctly (or at least the ones i'm familiar with), at which point they're visible to everyone, so the "without them knowing" part isn't going to happen. trying to connect to an unmodded server with a modded client runs the risk of VAC having a fit.

In the places i see it, contextually the two characters in question are both the subject, the verb is what they're doing, and the object is a specific location object or task, based on how the sentences are structured (Ie: "Her and Adrien had already finished their project", for example.) and you cant just use "they" or "them" in the first sentence of a paragraph. The reader needs to know which character is currently in focus or things get jumbled. And it just drives me up the wall because yeah, it's still readable but it feels so damn clunky and i'm certain that that's not how it should be written.- 1,928 replies

er, sry, kinda a bastardized term i got used to using to differentiate the completely fuzzy characters from the 'looks like they've got extra bits glued on' characters.

I dunno, i think she'd look better as an Eevee. then again any half-anthro character would look better as an eevee. eevee is adorable.

I would have thought they were more like magic-inducing bacteria. parasites like tapeworms are macroscopic, they wouldn't fit in a blood sample.

Turing contributed a lot more to the computer world than just theories about AI. what the Don is referring to isn't sentience, it's the ability to carry out scripted subroutines, and rudimentary automation. the kind of thing thats so simple you wouldn't think of it as AI, but even a modern laptop or phone needs just to start itself up.
