  1. What Are You Ingesting?

The problem with getting a major amount of your daily calories from bagels and jam is that you end up washing your face a lot more often than if you didn't. Actually not my face as such, but my mustache and beard.
  2. Comic for Wednesday, June 22, 2022

Almost everything that effect social change is illegal at the start of it. Not changing the laws/traditions of a nation is what leads to revolutions or civil wars.
  3. The Weather.

I wish my central air/heating fan worked better, failing that I'd like a couple of overcast days, with out rain, failing that a cold front, however that might result in body aches.
  4. Here is. Why do I suspect there will be a Grace visits Virginia story line soonish. Maybe as a NP arc.
  5. Comic for Monday, Jun 20, 2022

Yeah, there isn't any thing that says that "entertainment" has to be chaotic. Just most human entertainment tends toward it.
  6. What Are You Ingesting?

I and my brother have a lot of packages coming before Pennsic. I check my doorstep daily, but thanks for the heads up!
  7. Things that go bang

They have made, and tested in Afghanistan, a grenade launcher that lases a target, then set the time on the fuse to go off after it has traveled that distance. giving an air burst explosion, which defeats a lot of forms of cover. This is not jamable, assuming you don't some how jam the laser, which is tricky at best given our current tech. I suspect this is what this does, as guidance packs on a 40 mm grenade would take up a lot of the limited space within the grenade. Or it could be some one that thought that the 6 seconds it takes to reload a M203 was too long. With modern small arms design I'd go with the timed fuse theory, but the "it takes to long to reload" theory is also good.

Truth orbs might make that tricky. Like I said (possibly else where) the griffin society has lying by omission down to an art form.
  9. Comic for Monday, Jun 20, 2022

Which make her giving Rhoda a spell book just a bit weird. Plus the note she left for Sam. The note for Sam can be explained by her being in contact with Tedd, but the spell book was given out when she was fully into the "entertain me" crazy and bored phase.

The existence of Uryuom ruled nations is the only thing that make sense of Will and Gill having a "non-sanctioned programming language" TF gun. Well, not a spell book as such, but a "how to use your new spell" guide might have been a good idea.
  12. Generic Table top gaming.

And WotC, bless their little hearts, has been trying to say "rule 0 exists" for several versions of the game. Granted they went overboard with detailed rules for 3.x, but 5e is fairly rules light and depends a lot more on "Rulings, not Rules". I'm not saying it OSR, but there has been an attempt to reduce the option of being a rules lawyer. The fact that 5e eliminated prestige classes so really over the top "builds" aren't really an option is a good thing. I don't recall is rule 0 was a printed thing in 4e, I've tried to forget as much as possible about it.

The QLB-06/87B varient of the QLZ-87 automatic grenade launcher is shoulder fired, so it's possible that this monster is full auto, albeit at a low rate of fire. Also the QLB-06 is 9.1 kg with out ammo, so "shoulder fired" might be pushing it. https://odin.tradoc.army.mil/WEG/Asset/QLZ-87_(Type_87)_Chinese_35mm_Automatic_Grenade_Launcher

Well, even Luke could tall that Grace (and Noah) had differing auras than the humans. As I recall, Grace's aura was a different color than Justin's <checks comic> Yeah, Grace's aura is green, Justin's is orange. https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2014-05-01
  15. Cats, Dogs, Other pets.

"Moved into the bedroom. The floor spinning thing is blowing a nice breeze over the bed. Should be several hours before The Human wants to get in the bed. I'll wait" - Explorer the Cat
  16. NP Comic for Tuesday, Jun 21, 2022

I'm not sure that "villain" even minor is what George is heading for. Antagonist maybe, he's already been that with Justin. Of course he's been a mentor to Sarah, so it's a toss up.
  17. Here is. George still thinks he should be "in the loop" despite him stopping to press Justin about it when Justin told him that Elliot wasn't Justin's boyfriend. I wonder if this is taking place before or after SP, where George got more clues about magic.
  18. Deep Thoughts

Who? <google> Oh. Yeah, deep cut there.

  20. Comic for Monday, Jun 20, 2022

Assuming that the griffin side has seers, they might know what Tedd is from his aura. If not they are going to freak at his power level. They may freak at his power level anyway, as we know that Tedd is a special, even as a seer, so they may have more magical energy than normal for a seer.

Magazine fed 40 mm grenade launcher. What the actual [redacted]?

  23. Comic for Monday, Jun 20, 2022

I'm not sure that Grace counts as "Royal-Class" as her "human" magic seems to be limited to changing her clothing to match her current size and the fact that wands now work on her. This, of course assumes that griffins can tell Uryuom "magic" from "human" magic like Luke's spell can, even if he doesn't know that it does.
