Depends on level of power. Superheroes which can calmly and verbosely explain why they are good WHILE whole law enforcement unit is shooting on them from automatic weapons don't need that much money.

Which is indeed what he does in the MCU continuity. That's true, but my point was that he's ok with that - like, he doesn't seem to regret it.

Batman wouldn't be possible without Bruce's money. Didn't read those stories, but based just on movies, I would think real Kal El is somewhere in middle between Clark and Superman. However, definitely agree with him not being satisfied with being just superman. (Hmmm ... nice quote about it on DC wikia ...) Tony Stark, meanwhile, might live just well without secret identity.
  4. Well, unless like Nanase you specifically had a spell to allow you to cast magic from calories (and even then you might have to use that spell on purpose every time). Nanase doesn't have spell for that. It's just thing she can do with ALL her spells, and it's likely universal although Nanase might have more experience with that than others. And Magic doesn't actually have flair for the dramatic. It has just trouble with subtlety. I would actually assume that how much specific person relies on controlling weight doesn't matter BECAUSE magic sets up things like "optimal body shape" from how ALL people think, some sort of average. (Maybe regional one.) Like, look at Nanase's boobs.

That's some crunchy analysis there, pardner. So it's true that there doesn't seem to be any definitive proof in canon that Justin actually knows that Rhoda is Catalina's girlfriend, it's incredibly plausible that he either does definitely know by now, or has guessed correctly. So Dan can go either way if and when he decides that question is important to future plot development. Justin is unlikely to know EVERY person in school, meaning that just because Rhoda fits the description he can't be sure it's her. He can have suspicion, though. Diane, meanwhile? She has good reason to be sure. I don't think so. If your webcam is working, try combing your hair using the image of yourself on the screen. This is why backup cameras on cars are required to flip the image horizontally so like a mirror. BTW, backup cameras are now required equipment on new cars in the USA, which should cut down a bit on toddlers getting run over. I think Pharaoh RutinTutin was speaking metaphorically. Like that famous picture. Just tried my smartphone. The image is already flipped by default. BTW, I wasn't aware there are so many toddlers getting run over in USA.

... that sounds like you should visit some professional about that ...
  7. Story Wednesday September 26, 2018

... is the elephant still there? How much of the class she was supposed to be in already passed? And Diane, unfortunately, learning about your mistakes is necessary step to fix them. Yes, I know, I would also prefer some other way.
  8. NP Monday Sep 24, 2018

Yeah, in most continuities that doesn't make much sense. In EGS however? If William and Gillian can pass for humans ... ... I believe he was hypnotising Lois Lane few times to make her forget ... of course, not that he USUALLY has such power ...
  9. Considering she asked for blue, yellow and orange as well, I wouldn't be surprised if she DOES come to school with green hair sometime. Just, maybe it would be better to not do it the day after immortals making lightshow all around the world. She also eats the most between the two. It's quite possible she eats as much as both of them together. However, I doubt ANY of them needs to actually be careful about weight considering how much magic they have.
  10. It's scales. It's not about swapping. They can make one of them smaller and other taller. I actually think that Sarah's boobs are bigger than Nanase's usually are ... ... and that Sarah is B-cup but compares herself with people around who are D+ which makes her own boobs feel smaller. (Wait ... is there any official breast size info for EGS?)
  11. Okay, now I'm picturing that the final outfit was underneath his regular clothes all along, and his pants slid off to reveal the skirt.. Note that his shirt changed proportions. It MIGHT be possible some other piece of clothes changed into - wait. Actually it's pretty likely he doesn't have ANY piece of clothes under that except boxer shorts/briefs, and we HOPE those changed into panties, so not likely ... ... it's obvious Lavender striped him. She always acts as such? Yes, definitely.

The "Nancy Drew" name could be something Dan doesn't need to look at to reuse. However, I would definitely assume Diane really alters her outfit a lot. Yes. When I saw the image first, I actually assumed it's upper-arm bracelet with two black outlines and white / skin-colored middle. I still consider it most likely option. Remember that magic marks are not as obvious in "reality" as shown in comics. The contrast between them and normal skin is small and rather than actual tattoo, they might pass like pattern you made when sunbathing by not applying sunscreen at that place. Also, Akiko from all people definitely doesn't need to be afraid someone would not realize it's magic mark.

Hmm, Grace as an anti-hero... I find this concept surprisingly plausible (particularly if she had fell in with a different crowd after escaping Damien, or Painted Black had gone differently) but rather scary. OR if Damien arrived later. She was basically born AND raised to be anti-hero.
  14. NP Wednesday September 19, 2018

Grace COULD put on other clothes, but she's more likely to "support" Sarah.
  15. Story Friday September 21, 2018

I wonder if anthropomorphized personality traits (Diane's shoulder angel & devil, Susan's curiosity/logic/nature/nurture) are inherited from Pandora as well? It would make more sense than them both having them just randomly ... Well, with how long ago Raven fathered the child who was ancestor to Susan, there are likely a large number of descendants of Raven around the world; there's no reason Sarah couldn't be one of them. Alternately, Sarah just has an overactive imagination. (I'm mostly joking about this entire scenario, but actually I do find it a lot easier to buy the highly creative Sarah having imagined conversations with herself than people like Susan or Diane visualizing their internal debates in the manner illustrated in the comic.) Sarah having an overactive imagination is canon, she's artist and comic writter AND her conversation worked a lot differently. Yes, I don't believe Pandora would miss that, with how long she spend with Sarah. There likely will be other relatives, but noone from main cast. Note that statistically speaking, basically everyone should have some immortal in bloodline by now. But in lot of people those genes get diluted apparently ... and Sarah is good example of that. However, if you look at the spell which matched her talent AND her conversation with herself, it actually matches - and I mean it matches even more than Susan's or Diane's personalised traits. So, yes: Susan's and Diane's personalised traits AND Sarah's imagined conflict are both inherited from immortals AND the differences between them are due to different immortal they inherited it from. He also never was a "point of view" character. ... well ... ok, he sort of was in parts of Death Sentence, like here ... but looking at photo was sufficient, he didn't needed personalised traits to tell him anything. I suppose his personalised traits would be his human side and his immortal side.
  16. Story Friday September 21, 2018

Note that she IS walking late to class ... well, not exactly walking ... who's class it's going to be? EDIT: At least Diane's mirror image is nicer than Alice's.
  17. Story Friday September 21, 2018

True, most of the times I've heard it, a color is specified, but which color doesn't seem to be consistent. "Don't think of a purple elephant!" or "Try not to think of a pink elephant, see what happens." I would assume it's actually MORE effective when the color is not consistent, so ... I think it's more of a "has a crush on her." She's been too shy to do anything so overt as hitting on Diane. I think she's "dropping hints". Girls often do. And often overestimate how easy is to recognize those hints. That's probably caused by overexposure to U.S. politics.
  18. NP September 21, 2018

Makes lot of sense. From programming point of view, it's definitely simpler to just include totally superfluous breast than to add just muscles. Actually, it would be even simpler if Grace would be taller by those additional segments instead of current "where did her belly go" version. Regarding the game: it's nice to provide no-kill option, but better not think too much what will happen with the criminals hanged somewhere in height when noone finds them.
  19. Story Friday September 21, 2018

My first reaction: " .... o .... k .... ZEUS! Stop this!" But ok, let's assume she's really just imagining it. BTW, I knew it first with white rhino ... seems elephant is more common, but I think the color is important. Huh, it runs in the family. Her grandma was crazy a lot at that point. Diane shouldn't be. In any case, it would be funny if during the introspection she also realizes that Lucy is hitting on her (or is it "trying to hit on her"?)
  20. NP Wednesday September 19, 2018

... nah, talent is to survive it. "The Sarah Fund" lives on? That's underwear, not bikini, isn't it? Also, could easily be cannon if it's after one of failed experiments with clothes resizing.
  21. Story Wednesday September 19, 2018

No, but I have heard that you can never cross the same river twice. And I had a computer where I eventually replaced every part except the casing and the power supply. I've replaced the power supply too. But it took much more work than my grandfather's axe.
  22. Story Wednesday September 19, 2018

Lucy Lawless had a son (and she was very proud of breastfeeding him). Xena, on the other hand... His name was Solan. She gave him to a group of centaurs after the death of his father, Borias, who was killed in combat against a warrior in Xena's employ.
  23. NP Wednesday September 19, 2018

... Grace's shapeshifting DEFINITELY can help with this. She can get shorter until her spine size exactly matches the couch.
  24. Story Wednesday September 19, 2018

Scratching my head as to why I was quoted as saying that when it was khmaly that said it. Anyway, I imagine the way at least Diane and Lucy behaved around guys would have prevented rumors of them being lesbians, you don't get called gay when you're actively trying to pick up members of the opposite sex, Rhoda on the other hand was always shy so there might have been some rumors about why she was always tagging along, Not only actively trying, but according to rumors, you have lot of sex with them. I think it was even enough to win over Xena's reputation ... especially considering Xena herself was never clear lesbian, even had a son. Oh. That explains why she doesn't run faster.
  25. Story Wednesday September 19, 2018

I think it will be in next two weeks ... of comic time. Could easily be two storylines away. But from Lucy's point of view, it will be soon and it will even more lower her time with Diane. And Zeus still didn't marked anyone. Sure, he didn't have motivation, but I find likely he wouldn't be able to, and fresh Pandora neither. However, we have Helena and Demetrius around who MIGHT already have enough power ... and Voltaire, although WHY would he do it ... and then there's Hanma, who is supposed to appear in story ... Also sadly, people tend to be harder on gay males than they are on gay females, Justin even explains that rumors of Ellen being a lesbian and Grace being naive about it, were people wanting them to be real life versions of movie characters. You don't really see that happening with gay guys. Sadly? I don't think lesbians complain about that. But yes, it does seem to work that way ...
