I hope Nanase and Sarah, at the least, will be together. The two of them flirting in the "I'll be your mirror" and "So... you think I'm cute?" strips was so adorable I squeed. And after all, there's no Ellen in the Craftverse, at least no Ellen that Nanase's ever met. But hey, if they formed a triad with Circe, that'd be super too!

Huh. I would've thought Lisa would be the one going on about junk in the trunk.

Diane: I just wanted bigger boobs... Circe: Well, okay, there's no harm in tha-- Diane: ...so I can mesmerize men (and some women) into doing everything I tell them! Muahaha! Circe: No soup -- I mean scales -- for you.
-
Sure you won't, Diane. Also: two-toned hair here, if not necessarily in all appearances.

"I'll Be Your Mirror" written by Lou Reed. ©1966, 1994 Oakfield Avenue Music Ltd. From the album The Velvet Underground and Nico. So... is Nanase Craft confessing her feelings for Sarah; is the dungeon still messing with her mind; or is she just trolling? As Hanma would say, "Nobody knoooooows...!"

Nanase's dialogue in the first panel has made a song -- fortunately, one I like -- play in my head ("earworm" is the associated trope). Whether that was Dan's intent or not, I must now work on another slay. Excuse me.

http://egscomics.com/comic/tlod-030 Can't... stop... laughing. A new addition to one of my favourite EGS strips ever.

For sure, we can take it as a given that Lucy's known about Catalina for some time as well. It's only not been mentioned because prior to this arc there weren't all that many Lucy appearances altogether.
-
Took a while, but I found the two strips I remember in which Diane mentions Catalina: "Are you ever going to introduce me to this 'Catalina' friend of yours?" "Is that Catalina with you in your avatar?" I don't think there are any strips indicating Lucy knew about Catalina, although Cat knows about Lucy.

With apologies to Dan, who did this joke first, with an earlier panel.

This is definitely the closest thing to nice we've ever seen Lucy be to Rhoda. She's still delivering it in a condescending manner, sure, but her intent here doesn't seem to be the usual "be quiet and know your place, runt" thing. Also, while Lucy is trying in her own way to support Diane ("Women get jealous. People can't handle the truth"), I too am surprised Rhoda's not being more actively supportive of her friend. Also also... that Diane isn't crying right now stands out to me in a comic which normally isn't shy about its characters shedding tears (heck, Sarah recently wept hard over Pandora, whom she'd only just met and befriended). I'd think if ever there were a time when it'd be natural to cry, it'd be learning that people think you're a loose bimbo. Maybe Diane just isn't a crier?
