Oh absolutely. The problem is that aforesaid genius is taking that seriously extremist fringe and pretending that it is our mainstream. Somewhat similar to taking me and saying all Danes are like me. This would come as a rude surprise to the rest of my countrymen.
-
Highly likely, but I'm having some trouble seeing that as the goal of all of us, or even the majority. Which the genius in the linked piece blithely assumed. Not female-only. Parthenogenetic only. That is, involving only one individual which self-fertilises. The abovementioned genius claimed that this was the end goal of all feminists. That would not even include all of those who want female-only reproduction.
-
Why in the world would I choose an avatar based on that?

If you feel particularly resistant to stupidity today, here is a link that leads to a blog page where halfway down an MRA explains how feminism and its insistence on parthenogenetic reproduction will lead to the extinction of the entire human race. Near the end you will find a professional geneticist's glorious refutation of the MRA's so-called thesis. No, I did not know that feminists insist on parthenogenetic reproduction, either. I feel quite put out that my fellow feminists have not let me in on this part of our agenda.

And here I picked Mr. Raven as an avatar partly because I thought I looked a bit like him. I guess I don't.

Warning: Incredibles 2 is not epilepsy-friendly. At least one scene contains violently strobing lights. If you are subject to epilepsy or have experienced ill effects due to light sensitivity, be wary of watching this movie. Due to our medical record, I and my wife will not be seeing this movie, which saddens me because I absolutely loved the first one.

That's the problem wit' 'em foreign parts. They be full o' foreigners.

I rather think that was the point. Mind you, he also actually _is_ rather old, so maybe he is allowed to. Hrm.

Oh. That's what I've been doing wrong. I never bothered making the effort. Eh well, may as well keep the non-effort up, then.

...I am having trouble seeing that. I see her emotions as being more in the direction of, "Punch Magus so hard in the face that he will have a fist-shaped imprint instead of a nose, yes, and if he wants to hurt Nanase on top of that, do it again."

I fail to see any benefit whatsoever for Ellen in this. And do not see what purpose it would serve to salve Magus' hurt ego.

Actually I was being partly facetious, but I did have something in mind like an underground faction of people lacking in the ability to work magic and in self-defence working out different ways of doing things. Or alternately something like a state of warfare between technology and magic. Possibly like the Ascension War from the earlier edition of Mage: the Ascension but with the technologists on the losing side.
-
All I know is that it is highly irregular.
-
Or... maybe advanced technology DOES exist on Magus' world but is staying hidden from all the mages. DUN DUN DUNNNN.
-
Or maybe Magic in that world just had a different agenda. For all we know, Magic in our world specifically wanted to lay low in order to encourage humanity to be as independent of magic as possible whereas Magic in Magus' world said, "Bugger that, let's everybody just have fun."

You'll be fine. Now, if Denmark wins, you may have a spot of trouble. The invasive porcines in your state are bad enough without them actually taking to the air as well. -
They did as long as Margrethe the First stayed alive. Among her many talents, she was also an excellent diplomat. But the Union came apart less than a century after her death. He did, but Mehmed used a genie in a magic ring to aid his escape. And when he found out that he could sign out any time he wanted but never leave, it was too late. Certainly you can. In fact, never a better time. I mean, it's not as if Denmark was in any position to send military forces to put down the rebellion, and even if we had been, I doubt we'd have been able to put any sort of dent into the American forces there at the time. Plus, you know, Nazis. I am in total sympathy with any country declaring independence from a country full of Nazis. And so the gates opened for a flood of subsequent -gates to harrow American news media whenever anything resembling a scandal appeared. You might call this phenomenon Scandalgate.

Sometimes I can do that. Not always. And I just can't manage to do it with this sort of sabotage.

Oh, that guy. He scored fourth in an Elvis lookalike competition not long ago.

I personally believe that either method has merits, that using both is not to be scorned and that in some cases it becomes so vital to defy unjust acts of government that one is left with no moral choice save to defy the law. While I would prefer to work within the system when possible, I acknowledge that it is not equally easy for all to do so and that some systems are rigged so protest becomes not only dangerous but all but impossible.
-
I still think that neon pink dollar bills might attract a bit of attention, too.
-
This is false. He is actually a waiter in the same restaurant where Elvis works as a short-order cook. I am sure they will suss it out.

HA!!! Suck it, Quetzalcouatl! /flex -
And if so, would the dollar bills in it be a different colour? And would anyone accept them if they were?
