We had a Pink Panther one ages ago. Wilton pans are (were?) thick aluminum, and hold up well; if you wanted one, I bet eBay has a few every now and then. So I Googled, and there's more than one style. We had this one, now retired.

A bit of off the mark trivia, fish forks are a real thing (but not in my home), but not specific to carp. Carp are particularly bony, so I suppose that an eating implement could be developed that would lend itself to picking the bones out. As to Holy, this must have to do with the Roman Catholic Church's meatless Friday rule, and having your eating utensils blessed. Or something. Hey, they ate fish in Israel during the time of Jesus, maybe these are the utensils from the last supper. Yeah, that's the ticket. This probably has something to do with why you can get anchovies on pizza, as well.

I didn't notice the nose until you pointed it out, but the hair points kind of match, if you allow for the hat mashing them. I can see her being smoke. Maybe. It's more of a stretch, but it does fit. I got a four pack (a common size), just checked, it was 12 oz. I paid at most $6, I think $4.50 (sale price). So: $2.00 per 3 oz, times 256 oz = $170.67 normal price. $10.67 per lb. $1.50 per 3 oz, times 256 oz = $128.00 on sale. $8.00 per lb. I checked my freezer, the only other brand I have on hand is Gilbert's, priced a bit cheaper, but only 10 oz, 2.5 oz per sausage. It would take me a long time to go through 16 pounds, and I wouldn't want to have to store it. My freezer is full. (I don't have a stand alone, don't have room for it.) I do tend to purchase two four-packs when they're on sale, and forgo them entirely when they are not. Seems strange looking at the numbers that the difference motivates me that much.

If you read back on the thread, we were estimating about half of Europe; there would be isolated pockets that had no Adrian blood. Maybe EGS Oz is overrun with half-breed bunnies or worse yet, cane toads. My objection is to the notion that all EGS humans must be descended from Immortals because there's Adrian, but HK is not saying all are descended from him, just that if he exists, they must have been interbreeding for a long time, and by now, everyone is descended. I think Dan was winging it, and it doesn't have to make sense at that level. ... different genomes in the base examples, and a propensity to not interbreed, though possible.

Just had an aidelles orange and coriander smoked chicken sausage. It was delicious, highly recommended. I fried it, will attempt to saute the next one as suggested on the package. (aiddelles was in lower case on the package. in fact is was just about the only thing that was not capitalized.)
