I imagine Odin and Athena had quite a play-by-mail chess game going with Nymphs and Valkyries delivering the moves back and forth as well as acting out the game on a giant board. -

This is making a bit more sense as to why the spiritual superiors of the Paladin's order would want him to spy on Nanase. Either they are working with Marik's order and put Rich there as a Plan B in case they didn't get the info from Nanase on the first attempt. Or they are opposed to Marik and wanted to find out Marik's plans for Nanase. Or, or, this may seem odd, but maybe a cloistered medieval group of religious men felt threatened by a woman who thought for herself and behaved somewhat strangely. -

So renegade warlords and private armies are attacking soft targets "In the name of X" without X's knowledge or consent. Wasn't this kind of warfare out of style in Europe even before the Compact Corsican rewrote what war was supposed to be? -

The first time I had wasabi, I thought it was guacamole. Not fun. Don't misunderstand. I like both wasabi and guacamole. But they are NOT interchangable. -

The restaurant had All-You-Can-Eat pancakes. After my second stack, the waitress asked if I wanted a refill. I asked if I could wait a little while. She said "of course". So I told her I would be back Thursday. She thought it was a joke. -

Of course she would not stream a movie, if it was available to rent at Tensaided's store. As for the movie-going party? The group she identified as "people Tedd does not know" may include members of whom Tedd may be aware, but does not know well. She's going with. Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo & Crow. -

This is a new comic to replace My Little Pony Our Tiny Turkey! A group of barnyard fowl who act like human adolescents or young adults. Music in every episode that takes traditional and modern country then turns it into bland electro-pop. The characters are seen dealing with parents, siblings, friends, school, and jobs without ever confirming how old or independent they would be if they were human. Near the end of the first season, we are introduced to the Pigs. Snowball, Napoleon, and Old Major. This is a retelling of an Animal themed classic, The Bremen Town Musicians. -

A lot of reformist and revolutionary thinkers before the 20th Century advocated for Anarchy, believing people would never accept their enlightened rule unless all previous societal institutions were first eliminated. Trouble is that there are a lot of people who want to eliminate the powers-that-be. But these fellow Anarchists may not be inclined to support your Utopian vision afterwards. -

NOT MY IDEA! These idiots apparently can't remember the last time we had Italian Cuisine delivered to the Two Kingdoms. Julius (IVLIVS) and Antony made a royal mess of everything. And if Cleo is to be believed, they forgot the Garlic Knots. Sigh. -

Another NP story made canon. How long until the Gods of Curling saga becomes verified history? . . . . . How extreme is the intro - extro differnce? Could it break them up? Will at least one always be miserable? -

Is this progress? The comment Rich made in the last panel is the kind of thing he would say to a dude. Not the hot chick. -

Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to Darth Fluffy's topic in Comic Discussion
Just because Tedd is no longer hiding away most of the time does not mean Tedd is not an introvert. Appreciating friendship & socialization does not make them less exhausting. The ability to transform, to hide in plain sight, to be anyone other than yourself, may have been the driving desires behind Tedd's early magic work. The genderfluid mentality might even be secondary. Lord Tedd could be somone who was denied their craved solitude and channled that rage into a lust for Controll. -

Having seen a lot of "Fancy" and "Prize Winning" chickens in my life, I can say that Prize Winning chickens are not necessarily Fancy. Often the characteristics on which chickens, or other animals, are judged may not be obvious to a casual observer. Ever watch a dog show and not be able to tell the top ten dogs in each breed apart, let alone which one is supposed to be "Best in Breed"? George's idea of a healthy and neatly groomed bird may be more likely to win a prize than one which looks like a poodle. -

Try the Electro-Theremin. Similar sound with controls the musician actually touches. Brian Wilson used one on Good Vibrations. Trombonists seem to learn how to use it well. Speaking of Theremin, did he really collaborate with the KGB to build the bug known as "The Thing"? -

They don't know what a fancy chicken looks like? Never spent time on a farm? Never were forced to slowly walk through every livestock exhibit at the county fair? Their experiences as small town kids in the midwest do not resemble my own. ( Am I the only one who wandered from rooster to rooster in the poultry barn, singing Camptown Races, waiting for any of the birds to join in on the Doo-Dah? ) -
