Rhoda Had a problem And took care of it By herself - - - 1. Maturity is magic 2. So does this mean Rhoda no longer has two Mama Bears in her corner? -

A few years ago, I found a computer game for my dad that had casino type games (which he likes) but was absolutely not a gambling site (which he could not afford) Within a week, I was playing it over an hour a day to get the bonuses - - - As for punch card time clocks? Everywhere I have worked, there have been some employees who try to cheat the system by having other employees punch their cards for them. Why would they think management won't find out about it? And what compels an employee who actually shows up on time to risk their own job to punch for someone who can not be bothered to arrive as scheduled? -
Does she take requests? There's a nest of Fire Ants outside my office at work that needs a good pouncing While the pain of the bites is merely annoying, the itch following the bites is maddening!

In Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide Trilogy, every sentient being at times of great stress gave a psychic signal that told anyone nearby exactly how far the stressed being was from his place of birth. As humans stuck on Earth could never be more than eight thousand miles from the place of their birth, this sensation was usually not particularly strong. Rude dude just realized that the short girl has traveled half way across the Galaxy to be in this Pizza line

Meep Meep? Is Explorer expressing her inner Road Runner (Geococcyx californianus) or Beaker?

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-044 Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't. - Mark Twain It doesn't matter how superspectacular your idea may be, if it doesn't fit the narrative it doesn't belong in the game

I think it would scare me to see what a cat sees

Both, actually The Emissary of Magic did let Grace know that size change was easier if one thing grew and another thing shrunk at the same time. True, no one has told this specifically to Rhoda, yet. But given the flair-for-the-dramatic aspect of magic, I think it is likely. Aaaaaaand given my recent lack of success in predicting upcoming plot lines, expect something completely different. It's . . .

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-043 I would like to chose between factions that do not have inherent jerk qualities And I don't mean game play options Why can't I chose a candidate, school, job, religion, neighborhood, or online comic community without accepting the associated jerk aspects?

Mr Line Cut looks too much like the generic annoying guys who populated cartoons in the 70s for the sole purpose of annoying the heroes when they couldn't use their usual heroic abilities to thwart them like they could against the villains. No, really. This guy looks like he would hit on Daphne in front of Fred and then grab the last slice of pizza out from under Shaggy and Scooby. -
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-042 How does a game designer write responses to all the sneaky ways a game player will try to get out of following the plot line while still, technically, playing the game? As a, technically, human GM for table top RPGs this was always the hardest part of my job.

Despite having a girlfriend of her own, Diane is still the most important person in Rhoda's life. At least, according to Diane. So if Rhoda hasn't said anything to Diane about getting some kind of magic, then obviously Rhoda has not gained magic. I believe Holmes himself used a similar bit of logical deduction in The Hound of the Baskervilles - - - - - - How hard will Diane's ego be hit when she realizes that Rhoda has a life beyond Diane?

In many games, randomness is an essential component. The shuffle of the cards. The roll of the dice. Who gave the bigger bribe to the referee/dealer/game master? Other games demand equal conditions for all competitors. Both have their place. But I doubt you'll see ABBA writing music for a play about Snakes & Ladders. -

Things That Are Just Annoying
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to CritterKeeper's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I just got a text from my job Fred (the tropical depression, not Flintstone) is not expected to affect our operations next week But they will keep monitoring This is the annoying part of the storm If it isn't going to hit, precautionary measures seriously interrupt business It it does hit, precautionary measures mean the difference between business and no business How can we blame this on Aaron Burr?- 1,911 replies

This demonstrates with a preponderance of evidence that I am unable to predict the plot lines in this comic So the subject of who may or may not be in a sexual relationship. Is that still something about which high school students gossip? -

Unfortunately, good & bad are relative I remember when Pong was a good video game. Does this mean I would go out tomorrow and buy a new system just because it features Pong? Still, Elliot has been reviewing movies for a while now. Shouldn't some of those skills be useful in expressing opinions about games? Maybe even an opinion on the Bowling game his dad likes? -

I think my last comment may have been ambiguous By doing the back flip, I think Catalina was attempting to land on all fours like a falling cat This is what makes me think she will be the one to mention the mystical divinity of unashamed felinity
-
If Catalina joins the military and earns a commission, would she be a Major Disaster? Previously unconsidered option for the magic discussion. Catalina is so excited that she can turn into a cat, and/or that Rhoda can change sizes, that she will bring up the subject herself long before Sarah and Susan can clumsily move the conversation in that direction.

Changing Medications (Level of Trust Required)

If you are feeling better and your family is able to care for you at home, this is great news Having read your posts, and knowing what my own parents went though multiple times, I hope this isn't the alternative -
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-039 Thanks to George Lucas for making Force Lightning a Sith only skill Or for another option, who says the ability to melt human skulls with a stare should be restricted to the so-called "Evil" characters? I like to think of myself a a good person, but could find many times in my daily life where either ability would be useful After all, if I can shoot lightning and melt your skull, are you going to say I'm not good? . . . er, um, ah . . . Also, if certain abilities are limited to the "Good" or "Evil" then it would be impossible for a sufficiently powerful being to change, or impersonate, the other alignment without losing a significant amount of power
