There was an infamous Soviet genetics experiment which attempted to turn foxes into dogs by conditioning them to human contact over several generations the way wolves were suspected to have become dogs thousands of years ago. Has there been any research into the phenomena of Squirrels becoming puppy-like with prolonged human contact? And if anyone can do it, Grace is the speaker who could inspire people to confront their problems while she herself remains hidden behind the couch

This brings up a question I have pondered for some time What is an Animal's sense of direction? I know many animals have good spatial memory and can navigate incredible distances But do they have a sense of "North"? How about "Starboard"? I'm intrigued by the thought of a road map published by the Feline Automobile Association, and afraid of knowing too much about how they see the world

Games of the XXXII Olympiad So far the games seem to be going off without serious incident, despite being hit by a tropical storm But that shouldn't be surprising. This is Tokyo. They could keep the games going if Godzilla and Rodan used Shibuya Crossing for a Judo bout I am sorry that the most emotional competition must occur with almost no spectators What surprised me most so far was associated with the Swiss women's team sweeping the podium in Mountain Bike. The sweep itself was not surprising. Who in the world knows more about mountains than the Swiss? No, what surprised me is that the Swiss have not swept a podium since the 1936 games in Berlin (Gymnastics-Men's Floor Exercise). For some reason, I thought the Swiss had a much more dominant tradition in sports.

What worries me most about Grace pursuing a career in mental health or social work is wondering if she could detach herself from her work Almost everyone has, at some point, dealt with someone in medicine, psychology, academics, social work or some other professional field who, in the name of professional detachment, becomes a complete jerk to their clients, patients, or students. Grace would more likely be in the opposite situation. As she gets to know a patient, she would be unable to separate herself from her client's problems and would be likely to do things for that client that could not only break human law, they might break the laws of physics -

So along with the ever happy story of Grace's (lack of) childhood, we have also seen Elliot forced to become introspective, frustrated Justin, and Luke mistreated by his "friends". Well, I am able to get back online by using "Guest Mode" But all my files and bookmarks are unavailable to me If I am effectively using a machine that has been reset to factory specs, I might as well be using a new machine I will be seeking to obtain a new portable computer at my earliest convenience -

The small change to magic that turned out to be a big change has revealed things that left Luke scarred He may be so scarred of using his ability that he could never use it again And if he doesn't use what he has, he will never develop more useful abilities I wonder if this is a demonstration of some sort of Darwinian principal in magic? People with a little magic will either get scarred away from using magic or will act carelessly and get themselves destroyed? Thus magic will only be used by those who have both intelligence and courage (or the foolhardy and lucky) -

Question raised in my slightly exhausted brain while reading another thread... Why is feeling swell usually a good thing, but swelling is almost always bad medically? I think the English Language needs to be observed clinically
