The US has this strange conceit embedded in our Constitution, that it is solely the US Congress' decision whether or not the US is at war. You'd think the nation attacking us would have some say in the matter. Iran, as I understand things, has been at war against the US since very shortly after the Shah lost power. They've had a finger in numerous attacks against the US, its allies, and neutral nations. But the US is not at war. -

Just for a twist.... Twice this summer I've been hit with a power outage because a tree landed on a power line - and didn't break it. (The line repair crews would deliberately cut power to the line while removing the tree and doing any necessary repair. Can't say I blame them.)

Doesn't he realize most of the world will interpret that as a confession? Also, I read an interesting idea somewhere... what if Taiwan sends troops to reinforce Ukraine? Putin claims Russia would interpret any such action by anyone as an attack, and would counterattack. Taiwan then turns to Beijing and says "you claim Taiwan is part of your country. Will you use armed force to defend it?" (I don't see that happening... but it's an interesting thought experiment.) -

US Senators live (actual physical habitation, not legal residence) in one of the country's more expensive areas, too. And they socially/politically can't afford to live cheap, they have to go fairly high class. -
Kind of ironic that in golf, one of the few places where "par" is formally defined, being subpar is good.

He doesn't. He feels like maybe he should, and wonders if he should feel bad about NOT feeling loyalty to his mom. With this coming totally out of the blue, I think he's toward the less-conflicted end of the range of confusion one might expect of him. He's had no time to get used to the concept of his dad dating, let alone getting serious about it, let alone with an Uryuom.

What puzzles me is how demonizing anyone that suggests an election may be lacking in integrity, while publicly opposing any effort to insure election integrity, is supposed to persuade people to have faith in election integrity.
