It's in a pocket universe. The head librarian is a sphinx named Phix. It has a copy of every book ever written, from stone tablets to ebooks.

One attempt with the diamond takes just a couple seconds... go in male, touch it, check for separation. If no separation then switch to female and try again. After all, we don't know what happens if the diamond's magic detects TWO curses. Better to not try it with any curses that matter to anyone.

Kitty will not get a catgirl transformation spell. Pandora doesn't seem to go in much for repetition, and that would be rather like Catalina's. If she gets a mark-spell, it will be one that allows her to run very fast. Satisfying her earnest desire to catch up with those two catgirls that she's about to see running past.

The answer to Kitty's question is, of course, "one that has just been cleaned out by a group of catgirl fans".

A shockwave of catness?

Another webcomic for you. And this would be another if it weren't on an every-few-years update schedule. (I don't know of any in the other direction.)

Forum interface fixes: Greasemonkey-wrapped custom stylesheet
Don Edwards replied to HarJIT's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Hm... I discovered that, somehow, GreaseMonkey had gotten disabled, and then within it this script had also gotten disabled. Might have been a side effect of me attempting to remove a previous version before installing a new version (and this is the only script in it). So, with it enabled again, that line is showing up visibly. -

Also, a line of text near the bottom of the page, showing the path to the current page, is in white on a pale blue - thus barely detectable, let alone readable. I think there's also some other text on the same line, right-justified. -
That silhouette behind them in the first panel kinda looks like Diane... Of course, Diane currently wouldn't recognize either of them - and neither, I suspect, would any other human.

Considering the genetic engineering involved to get the cross to even be viable, the lifespan could be anywhere from days to a century.

Not necessarily. If Abraham's master became an aberration by becoming the first werewolf, and Abraham didn't realize it was voluntary...

A few years ago, on one election day, the voters of the state of Washington approved both recreational marijuana and gay marriage. Prompting some wag to suggest they were endorsing the Old Testament edict (which had been misinterpreted for centuries) that a man who lies with another man should be stoned.

Pure speculation here: ONE werewolf was an aberration. Somehow it came in contact with the Dewitchery Diamond, producing: one being that can shapeshift at will into a werewolf form, and possibly is not an aberration but has previously demonstrated intent to be an aberration - so likely would become an aberration again soon after one being that is permanently in werewolf form and possibly an aberration, and can spread its condition to others * if this latter being bites someone and they survive, they get permanently shifted to werewolf form and maybe become an aberration but can't spread their condition Then later the legends conflated these three beings, and the non-spreading werewolves that survived being bitten by the permanent werewolf, got conflated into a single mythical sort of being. (This is consistent with what we know of the Dewitchery Diamond. It may not be consistent with the timelines. Even if it is consistent with the timelines, it may not be what happened.) There's no clear evidence that aberrations are needed to create other aberrations - as far as we know, each is self-created. Therefore, extinction is not possible save by extincting every species that can turn themselves into aberrations.

That's one of the advantages of not claiming to follow any specific Pagan tradition. I practice my faith in the same way as my earliest predecessors: by making it up as I go.

Eyebrows that go over the hair are common even in non-magical webcomic worlds.

The jinks level is increasing rapidly... If you look closely at the two previous comics, specifically on where the top edge of Rhoda's pocket falls on Catalina's body, it's obvious that Catalina is growing larger relative to Rhoda. And if you look closely at where that white stripe on the wall is as compared to Rhoda's body, it's clear that at least part of the explanation is Rhoda getting smaller. However, it doesn't appear to be doing so in the proper degree to match how much Cat is (relatively) growing, so apparently Cat is also getting larger - and at an increasing rate. (The laid-back cat-ears is a nice touch.) Now, Cat realizes that it's time to getouttathere fast. At first it seems that Catalina is too small in the second frame of today's comic - the same size relative to Rhoda as she was here, in spite of having grown larger. But in the meantime, Rhoda grew by about a foot and a half or so, and hadn't finished shrinking yet. So it may work.

EGS Pinup for 2016, December 17th (Carol and Heidi)
Don Edwards replied to HarJIT's topic in EGS Sketchbook Discussion
I don't like this one so much, but I think it's because I know who the characters are. It seems badly out-of-character for Elliot, even in that secret-identity-protection form. -
Arranging to turn your kid's world upside down so that your kid can have more of what YOU decided your kid wants... isn't exactly for your kid (at least, not when your kid is a healthy adult.)

Max is Raven's. Jeremy is Verres'. Brownie is Dunkels'. The Browns may also have a cat, but I'm not sure and don't recall a name.

Also, magic in Moperville seems to automatically come with failsafes.

Tea and obnoxious children, does not sound like a good repast.

My thought was that enchantments got so intertwined, Catalina's is affecting Pandora!
