I like this one.Téa is incredibly cute.

Yes, she is.  Maybe she will be the waitress at the tea shop they all start hanging out in when they all go to Moperville University.  Ellen would kick ass on open mic nights.

I prefer green over black, thank you.

Wonder where did the grey version go. I see nothing but a brown hole here.

Wait, is Téa like "Thea" (but with a silenced "h")?

Dan said her name is pronounced TAY-ah.

As for the colour of the tea itself:

EDIT: Changed the look of the tea after a British person complained (no, seriously)

No idea why I spelled "dad"...

One, trying to simplify it into a more common name seems better.

Two, brown seems a bit more drab and odd. Realistic is not everything. Dang Brits.

Are we talking proper British Tea, or British Cuisine in general?

British people and their standards with tea. Art cannot fully capture the look of a cup of black tea.

Can they not enjoy a perfect glass of sweetened iced green tea?!?

Why? And Téa isn't too terribly odd of a name...

British Cuisine is freak awesome breakfast, fish and chips (normally awesome) for lunch and Curry or other India Food for supper, other than Sunday when you do

a dry roast beef (vs pot roast)

Late 20th/ early 21st Century UK has nothing to be ashamed about it's food.  Other the Marmite, of course, that's just gross.

... that would be really long-term planing.

Yes, Téa is a very neat name. I just want to give it a counterpart that will harmonize the name.

I digress. How and when can we make her canon and present?

She works at a tea shop in town.  They might "fix" the magic version and the gang start hanging out there.   Or not fix the magic version but have it as a "special".

What are the odds that "Téa" is actually just another mischief making disguise used by Pandora?

Slim to none.

On the other hand, maybe we found another mark. Maybe the tea was normal before she started selling it.

This doesn't necessarily have to be magic on Téa's part, just advanced herbalism and access to ingredients with magical properties.

Well that's of course also possibility, but then we can't blame Pandora for it.

Considering both Téa's name and profession, I'd think she's not only been doing that for a while now, but selling magical tea possibly runs in the family, the secret tea blend being passed down through the generations.

The secret tea ingredient is passed through the generations, but it didn't worked nearly as well (or maybe at all) outside Moperville magic anomaly.

I would think that if the tea ingredients had magical properties, it wouldn't matter where they were used. Of course it'd matter where they were grown though so being in Moperville would be a bonus in that Téa wouldn't have to import them from other parts of the world.

It would if they would work as catalyst for reaction(s) which would use other matter. Which they likely do, as they don't seem to do anything with the cup.

In other words, the bodies submerged in Moperville magic anomaly are easier to transform by stuff like magic tea.

Fam-Trad Transformation?   Or Fam-Trad-Trans to us the full Wiccan like term of art.

If there's an added enchantment spell cast to activate the tea's properties, sure. Then again if the spellcaster was sufficiently skilled, they wouldn't need a lot of ambient energy floating around to do so. Remember, Nanase can also burn calories to power spells, so Téa could also have ways of generating her power without the need for high ambient energy. Yes it does make it easier, but a lack of ambient energy doesn't necessarily make it impossible.

Duration of the effect of the tea could also be determined by the ambient energy levels, low energy and the effect wears off about 10 minutes after finishing the cup, high energy and it could be a few hours after. Unresisted of course.

My original statement was based on the idea that the tea was an alchemical enchantment, which would rely on the properties of the ingredients and having a proper blend to create the effect. The tea would then be usable anywhere regardless of ambient energy level and still have an effect on the consumer, but growing such ingredients would likely have to be done in a area with decent levels of ambient energy.
