That makes a much sense as any other reason for her to sit backwards on Godzilla.

I suspect it is actually because it is nice and warm, and it gives her a feeling of privacy. Also it shows trust. Cats don't look away from people they don't trust.

In short, if a cat aims its butt at you, it is because it trusts and loves you. Odd form of compliment from a human perspective, but it is quite sincere.

She sits "forward" on Godzilla more often than not, but she does tend to lay butt toward me when she is on my chest.
