Well I don't think she could create 2 FV5 beams at once (unless that's the new info that Dan plans on revealing Friday) so in order to transform both at the same time, she'd need to be in physical contact with both that the beam envelopes them, like how Ellen FV5'd her, Sarah and Sarah!Grace in the pinup.
  2. Things That Are Just Annoying

Yeah, thing is though, there's Barrens chat, and then there's Jita chat which takes Barrens chat to a whole new level.
  3. So this past Saturday, some friends convinced me to buy GTA V to play with them, it cost $70 CDN on Steam, Monday I'm getting ready to load it up and notice a news announcment stating that GTA V was on sale for 40% off... I coulda saved $30 if I wanted a couple days lol. Anyway, today I happened to see that Fallout 4 is on sale for 67% off so I could get it for $26 instead of the $80 full price, and the season pass (all DLC including any that may be released later) is 40% off so basically getting the game + DLC was cheaper than just buying the base game at full price, I wasn't passing up this opportunity only to buy it later at full price then kick myself when it went on sale 3 days later. Impulse game buying is great, eh?
  4. Story Monday May 22, 2017

I think if Sirleck knew that Adrian was Pandora's son, he would have avoided Adrian like the plague because he knows that Pandora is well passed her reset time as he referred to her as and "ancient crazy Immortal" and judging by the comment, she probably threatened him to assist Magus in the original plan. But since he thinks that Adrian's related to either Helena or Demetrius, two Immortals that he knows were improperly reset and probably not much of a real threat to him, and so he feels free to put Adrian in danger. Voltaire is probably counting on Pandora finding out about Sirleck's attempt to kill Adrian and going into a rage, she'll go after Sirleck for sure because he's an aberration, but she may also go after Abner because Sirleck may say who told him about Adrian, even though it was Voltaire pretending to be Abner. Remember, this is part of Plan CM and since Plan A specifically said it "would have gotten the job don with one murder", Plan CM could presumably involve multiple murders, either by vampires or by Pandora. The page where Sirleck is checking Adrian's background is more to do with trying to gauge what kind of person he is which may hint at "would he be worth possessing?" but the next page (the one you linked) definitely suggests that possession isn't on the table, I think the plan is still to possess Magus once he gets a body to possess, and he's throwing all the money he has into attacking Adrian to ensure that Magus has a clear shot at getting Ellen to zap Elliot. Once Sirleck has Magus under his control, he could use whatever abilities he thinks Magus has to rebuild his wealth faster than the embezzlement method he had been using.

Larry might just have a more feminine looking face to begin with, maybe not totally androgynous but close enough that the transformation didn't need to change as much. Rich is a larger person that Larry, as such, he'd be wearing a 3 or 4XL shirt compared to Larry's medium or large. After the zapping, Larry's shirt is loose but Rich's is very loose and also has a larger neck opening that would sit lower and reveal more. It has the same effect as seeing someone shrinking out of their clothes.
  6. NP, Wednesday May 24, 2017

Considering the smirk on Nanase's face, she knew Ellen was about to pounce. Also note that Ellen is glancing at Rich's behind in the last panel. And yes, Dan confirmed on Patreon that is what she's doing, though he admits that some might easily think she's checking out Rick's chest instead. I guess she could be doing both?
  7. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

And according to Pandora, other Immortals wouldn't be able to mark people without their permission either. She could probably come up with some convincing reason to say to changing someone's default form would be considered guiding or empowering.
  8. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

Right, Pandora wasn't actively searching for transgender people, she just happen upon Felix because she was following Kitty. Pandora did have an opportunity to notice Sam and mark him, but she was probably pre-occupied with Tedd, Sarah and Justin/Luke at the time. You sure? Jerry cast a serenity spell on Susan, Voltaire channeled loads of magic into Dex, why couldn't Pandora permanently change a person's default form without marking them?
  9. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

We also don't know what happened to Jerry, I want to believe that he's fine and that it was Pandora that grabbed him believing that he's the one that was meddling with Elliot's life, maybe they'll team up to find Voltaire? But as it is, we don't know for sure who it was that grabbed him and if they're friendly or not. And obviously it didn't deter Elliot from making that statement, well, it might have if Ellen didn't mention magic marks. Way to go Ellen! You're an enabler! Well, Pandora did say she was going to mark Felix because it'd be something she believed Tedd would never forgive her if she didn't. Though she might not be as quick to agree this time around as she probably believes that Tedd wouldn't forgive her if she causes Magic to change, Sarah told Tedd about "Box" being the one that was giving magic marks to people and Grace backed her up on it and since "Box" told Sarah to tell Tedd everything, she has every right to believe that he wouldn't forgive her. Maybe she could do something else to help without risking more people learning about magic though.
  10. Story Monday May 22, 2017

That's why I figure the the whole warning wasn't just about Magus, Magus could have been the egg, but the hawk might be Sirleck. As it is, Magus getting his body back is a drop in the bucket compared to what Sirleck has set in motion so that Magus could get his body back, and there's still the possibility that Sirleck intends on taking possession of Magus's body.
  11. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

Sure, and you are entitled to it. I was just mentioning it for completeness' sake. I think it's the fact that while Grace pointed out the glow, Tedd never took it seriously, I dunno if it was a side effect of being certain he had no magic potential that he'd blow it off. But I don't think Grace knew that back then, so she wouldn't think it'd be important to push the subject. I imagine if Sarah saw Tedd glow like that before he had told her she'd be all "but hey, if you have no magic potential, how come you can glow sometimes?!" Elliot had already told Tedd that in the age of smartphones, it'd be very difficult to keep Magic secret, so Magic would have to compromise eventually of it wants to continue to be used by people. Elliot's statement about possibly getting Immortals involved is an extension of that.
  12. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

I want to think that Dan's had the idea for the Magic reset back in Hammerchlorians when Jerry first mentions Magic having a flair for the dramatic, it seems like Dan had already figured on Magic having a will that could effect outcomes when it seemed appropriate.
  13. Story Monday May 22, 2017

That could have been just a metaphor for her finding Magus trapped on the Immortal plane.
  14. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

My source was what you linked, I just forgot to link it, hehe. But yeah Greater Chimeras aren't enchanted by tranformation magic because they basically make the transformation their own, it's got nothing to do with resisting a spell but being a full on shapeshifter. Hedge and Guineas can shapeshift but only because they have animal and human DNA and the fact that it's possible must mean that the Uryuom eggs have a way to correct any incompatibilities between species, being able to shapeshift between human and animal form might just be a side effect of that, but since they're lesser chimeras, the TFG wouldn't fix their transformation ability further. There's also this part just after Vladia revealed herself to the others and Grace said "you're like me, you should stay that when until you concentrate really hard to transform again." Yeah, the way I read that was, if someone was zapped by the FV5 setting on the TFG, and then Ellen zapped them, they'd return to normal, because Ellen can zap herself once to V5 herself, and then a second zapping cancels it, the TFG would need to be set to "normal" first before zapping again. Maybe because Elliot knew about the "normal" setting on the TFG at the time he touched the diamond, it automatically gave Ellen's beam a "second shot on same target=normal" feature.
  15. Story Wednesday May 24, 2017

Why do I get the feeling this is something Voltaire would want to take advantage of.....Voltaire wanted Tedd a certain way possibly so he would say "F&^* YOU!" to Magic which may allow Immortals to shed their restrictions. Elliot basically just went "F&^* YOU!" to Magic and wants to do something about it...
  16. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

Hedge and Guineas are lesser chimeras, they have no Uryuom DNA, so they wouldn't be considered Uryuom hybrids. Enchantments applied to them will likely affect them as enchantments should. The TFG has a "normal" setting that can revert a morph. When Ellen first zapped Tedd after the goo fight, she said Tedd would have to fix the gun to return to normal cus she wouldn't do it. I think the restriction was that the TFG morphs wouldn't stack with Ellen's beam.
  17. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

The thing is though, now that Tedd knows that enchantments can have their durations reduced by actively resisting, he would have told Elliot so Elliot should be able to get rid of an enchantment faster than that average, not instantly like Tedd can though. Yeah, the lespuko DNA just adds mixing and matching forms and gain power through them, but Uryuom DNA would be enough that Vladia couldn't be enchanted (but still V5'd). That's basically what I was trying to say, I think Abraham was trying to get it so the Diamond would separate a specific enchantment (the werewolf curse) but goofed up and so the Diamond affected all possible enchantments. Pandora gave her one near the end of "Marker/Escape From the Mall" And possibly Greg. Maybe Dan should do a more detailed origin story for Greg. I know Dan made it canon that the Diamond creates a duplicate with the ability to spread the "curse" and leaves the original with the ability to use the enchantment themself, but I'm not sure how that result could be worked into canon.
  18. Story Monday May 22, 2017

Probably for the same reason Elliot chose to be called Ellen for school after he was first zapped. And Sam suggested that Tedd might want to go by Tess if it mattered. There might be some reason Terra would switch gender and name. Yeah, they were on school grounds (at least that's assuming the stadium they're in are part of the school facilities) but likely not on school time, maybe after classes and they were playing around with some new tricks unsupervised. The beam might be tricky to explain, it certainly looked deadly, but it might have been a transformation beam. It's entirely possible what Terra and Magus was doing was the equivalent of Ellen training Grace with Grace blocking Ellen's beams. Whatever Magus was using was apparently supposed to block Terra's beam, but maybe instead it altered the beam into something else. What Magus used might be harder to pin down. And yes unsupervised would make it hard to prove what happened, unless of course Terra and Magus were known to be very close friends and consistently sparred together. First step would be to find out what it was that Magus used, figure out where he got it, or find out who swapped the original item with the sabotaged item (or altered the item's intended purpose) maybe the spell or whatever would have a clue to where Magus ended up. Then it'd be a matter of finding a safe method of either going there and bringing Magus back. Of course it's not quite that simple and probably time consuming. There's a DS9 episode where Sisko was knocked out of time by an energy discharge and Jake spends his entire life trying to find a way to bring him back into sync. Dan might have used that episode as inspiration for Magus' predicament.
  19. Things That Are Just Annoying

I had almost forgotten about that, what was it like exactly, really sharp or does the taste make another turn down a different route the more it's aged?
  20. Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)

The issue with disability insurance is another one of those situations where all it takes are people willing to abuse the system to ruin it for those that actually do need it. And most often, so-called solutions to prevent just anyone from claiming disability is to make everyone jump through as many hoops as possible to filter out freeloader, but even those with actual disabilities might be scared to apply because what if something they put in the forms isn't enough to approve the claim.
  21. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

Hmm interesting though, what would happen if the Dewitchery Diamond from the prime universe came into contact with the Dewitchery Diamond from Lord Tedd's universe? Would they cancel each other out, effectively doing what Abraham couldn't? Or would they duplicate each other? RIP Roger Moore.
  22. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

I don't think whether or not the person is fine with an enchantment matters, since Nioi used enchantments to reduce her age a bit and change the colour of her skin/fur and the diamond considered them curses. Basically curses are just another name for enchantment, though mainly used to refer to harmful or unwanted enchantments, the diamond doesn't differentiate between what's considered wanted or unwanted, just "this person has been affected by a magic spell, it must be removed!"
  23. I would think that Tedd would have more than just an "ugly cousin" opinion if Nanase reminded him of his mom.
  24. NP: Monday May 22, 2017

That's what I figure the plan is as well, the only difference is Magus would need Elliot to remain female before touching the diamond if the diamond would consider Magus's consciousness in Elliot as the curse because 2 consciousnesses inhabiting one body isn't natural, therefore the diamond would separate Magus from Elliot, Magus gets his own male body without Elliot's memories. Vladia doesn't count because she's a part Uryuom Seyunolu like Grace and therefore the TFG and Ellen's beams don't actually enchant her, she could morph back on her own, but she chooses not to because the first time she tried morphing nearly killed her and so she's not willing to risk it. Vladia would also rather remain human anyway.
  25. I don't think that Tedd's jealousy of Nanase was so much as being slightly attracted to her, but more about Tedd wishing he was more like Nanase, Nanase grew up with people liking her, wanting to hang out with her and date her, but Tedd grew up being bullied about his appearance, it would be natural for him to be jealous of that if they were siblings, heck we have Sarah and Carol as a good example of it, but since Tedd doesn't have any siblings (as far as he knows that is), Nanase would be the closest logical family member. Because if there was time travel, LisaxLisa would be a thing.
