That, and the video evidence might still exist. I would imagine that the egg contains the equivalent of stem cell templates already, just enough genetic material to be considered reproductive cells which then combine with the DNA from donor blood.
  2. What Are You Ingesting?

Hawaiian Pizza(invented in Canada) That's right, I'm eating pizza with pineapple on it.
  3. Things You Find Amusing

Today's TWB. Swampy calls Nintendo's Stadium Events junk: I think Doc took some inspiration from the part that I bold/italic/underlined, and if Swampy just tosses it, I'ma smack him!
  4. Story Friday March 31, 2017

I still think there's a good possibility is the Main Eight having kids together. If Grace really can make Uryuom eggs on her own like Mr Guyur could, then I can easily see her wanting all her friends to be parents. Uryuom society is such that they don't build relationships on physical attraction and sexual urges, what may look like polyamory could a bunch of best buds and while there's the human tradition of choosing god-parents for their children, Uryuoms take it a step further and allowing anyone they have close connections with to be part of the family and the process of raising children. Now true, we don't know a lot about how Uryoum eggs work, it does seem to be implied that clothing can remain on during the process so that would make things less awkward. As for how they would go about donating the DNA material, we know it can be injected by syringe, and it also seems that blood is enough, so maybe it would just be a matter pricking your finger with a pin and sticking it in one of the holes. As for Grace knowing about Elliot making those comments the first time he saw Tedd as a girl, the most plausible scenario would be that Tedd didn't have to say anything because Grace saw and heard it through Tedd's glasses, if she didn't understand it fully then, she then would have gotten Tedd to talk about it when she confronted him later. The other thing is that while Grace may not fully understand everything about human behaviour, she is very observant and it was very recently comic time (like 5 or 6 days ago) that Elliot nearly had a melt down over people that gay bash, so Grace was probably seeing similarities in Elliot's tone and since she had that prior knowledge of hearing Elliot yelling at f!Tedd through Tedd's glasses, Grace had the means to difuse Elliot's anger.

Some may argue that despite us having technology, we lack intelligence to use it wisely. Basically Humans tend to look at things as weapons before tools.

Also don't forget the alien probe that nearly destroyed the Earth because man had wiped out humpbacks.
  7. Obviously, quoting your post didn't reproduce the effect so I have no clue why it did that in the first place.
  8. The block is the same colour as the post background (the light blue) and doesn't completely cover "anything;" either, I could see the "a" and the tops of the "th". The block also goes out past the boundaries of the post and it says "Protected by Grammarly" when I hover over it. I've never seen it do that before, and haven't installed anything related to grammar checking. It's a mystery...
  9. Not so much a response to what you said, but why the heck did a portion of your post get censored with a "Protected by Grammarly" block?
  10. http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=596 And yep, guessed the game, though it wasn't difficult considering Dan had been tweeting about the game prior to announcing his plans for the NP.
  11. Things that make you worried.

I've gone to some buffets where the "deviled eggs" are just hard boiled eggs cut in half with. Decent ones at least have the yolks creamed with some mayo or miracle whip and some paprika sprinkled on top. Ones that I really liked have dill pickle and sweet onion finely chopped and mixed with the yolks and mayo to really give it a zing.
  12. I must say, any attempt to visualize a cross between Mall Girl and Goth alter ego did not come close to this, and I'm glad this exceeded expectations.

A book I read back in High School called "The Crysalids" was about life a few hundred years after a nuclear war. It mainly revolved around a community in Newfoundland/Labrador and technology amounted to 18th century equivalent, it also made it clear that the majority of North America had been completely devastated. It was assumed that Europe, Asia and Africa were also in pretty bad shape too but later revealed that New Zealand had been spared and managed to become technologically superior.

I think the Playing with Dolls NP showed that Nanase has some...interesting...interests. It's canon that she's curious about what having four breasts is like, plus there's that pinup of Nanase with Fox that may also be canon.
  15. Things that make you worried.

And on the 8th day, God said "While the consuming of prepared chicken eggs may be considered sinful...I won't hold it against anyone. Thou wouldst be a heathen to not like them."
  16. NP: Monday March 27, 2017

That would make it easy for aliens to blend in. Alien commander: What do you have to report on the natives, scout? Scout: I apparently won first place in something called a cosplay competition, sir.
  17. Story Wednesday March 29, 2017

I was part right about Grace making Elliot see that his initial reaction to Tedd wasn't so much different. Elliot definitely fell into the category of those that react to what they see but change their minds as they learn the facts. Some people, unfortunately, just want to watch the world burn.
  18. NP: Monday March 27, 2017

That's assuming they haven't been watching from somewhere nearby for the past couple decades.
  19. Story: Monday, March 27, 2017

It's not much different than anything else that a person can take interest in. It certainly depends on the person though, some may always get enjoyment out of something, but others after a while might decide it's not doing it for them anymore and look for something new. Also, if something like BDSM became widely accepted by society, is it still considered a fetish, or a recreational hobby?
  20. Things That Are Just Annoying

I blame chainsaw manufacturers for designing them in a way that looks like it can be weaponized.
  21. Story: Monday, March 27, 2017

I wasn't trying to imply that fetishes were bad, but there's a novelty in doing things that are considered risque and taboo to society. Early on in the comic, Tedd's behaviour gave everyone the impression that he transformed into females forms because of the novelty of it, and it wasn't until later during Grace's birthday that the reader started to see that maybe there's more to why Tedd does it than just for fun, and the card tourney confirmed it, Elliot probably came to a similar conclusion, though maybe not knowing exactly what it was, at some point as well that what Tedd does isn't just for fun.
  22. EGS Strip Slaying

/me facepalms I would have gotten it if I wasn't about ready to go to bed when I saw it...I did have the thought of "all they did was retype what Grace says in a different font" but it just didn't click that maybe that was the point.
  23. EGS Strip Slaying

I don't get this one, what she says in the "slay" is the same as the original, only real difference is the other dialog was removed.
  24. NP: Monday March 27, 2017

I would expect they would be able to recognize the fact that there are hostilities between several countries and even civil unrest, and if they've been watching us for some time, they should have a decent idea about the geopolitical landscape.
  25. NP: Monday March 27, 2017

There are plenty of other things being broadcast that may make extra terrestrials want to exterminate us, I'd say more, but the politics thread is locked at the moment.
