I mean, while everyone have different opinion, there are outfits which would be hard to explain as "that persons like them". But there is no such limit in case of androids: their emotional programming might be very crude and full of bugs, so basically ANYTHING might be explained as something the android likes. ... (Note: it's true that cosplayers can like wearing all sort of crazy stuff, but they are just copying other character which may lack sane reason to wear that.)

Sounds like the plot for the game Nier: Automata, where Earth has been overrun by alien machines and humans had fled to the moon and are trying to fight back using android warriors. Will know for sure when we see Grace if she has a little robot companion and a big arse sword or something.

http://www.egscomics.com/?id=2164 Looks like Nanase's gonna try sending a Fairy over again, will it work, or will we get an explaination to why it didn't work when Tara was chasing Elliot in the mall? Also, Diane's confusion is understandable considering Ellen just referenced the fact that she's Elliot's duplicate and knows him more that just a regular sister would.
