No no, Susan's a Meowstic, and Ashley's a Mareep. It's sketchbook (and deviant art) canon.
  2. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

Considering he's a lying liar who intentionally misled Tara into believing Elliot had done something to Andrea, it's safe to assume he's intentionally misleading Sirleck into believing Adrian is related to Helena or Demetrius. I'm wondering if it's a potential diversion tactic for keeping Pandora from finding Voltaire. And I'm also wondering if Voltaire is aware that a system change may happen soon and wants to make sure it does happen.
  3. Things You Find Amusing

Wait, doesn't the media already do the flashbacks for the athletes?
  4. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

Magus knows, Pandora herself told him that she wanted him to kill Abraham because he hurt her son.

While I certainly agree that a healing spell like that wouldn't be worthy of evangelist television, papercuts sting like a mofo. Sharing feelings as I understand it might entail boosting a persons moral, like sending happy vibes at a depressed person. Dangerous? I'd say make it happen and send the twin into the US congress building.
  6. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

Yeah, that was the general idea of why Sirleck agreed to help Magus again, but now that he knows about Adrian....

No maybe, the last page of the arc clearly shows that Susan summoned multiple fairies before going to bed. The question was her being able to take full first person control of one the same way that Nanase does with her fairy avatar. It's canon because Dan basically used it to explain how zombies in the walking dead sense would be impossible, but zombies in the sense of mind control would be, also Lavender was in it. I don't recall Grace having the ability to spot people with power. Luke has that ability, Greg can measure power levels, and Tedd has the ability to analyze spells when he sees them being used. Edward relies on somewhat-conspicuous instruments for the task. I keep saying that Grace doesn't have any special power for mark detection, it's all just mental triggers that were set up by Grace and Disco Wizard in her dreams. it's no different than when Grace had a sense of deja vu when watching Harry Potter and thinking she'd had a dream about being in a classroom talking to a wizard. I think it's more likely we'll be seeing Lord Tedd's universe rather than Beta Tedd's or the one Ellen's second life took place in, though there's no really need to visit the second life universe because the real Kaoli is with Nioi in Lord Tedd's universe (the Kaoli in the second life universe was just Nioi's alternate that she used to age Kaoli's soul like second life Ellen was Elliot's alternate for Ellen's soul). Playing with Dolls ran pretty much simultaneously with the card tournament portion of Squirrel Prophet, such that at one point Dan had to hold back information in Playing with Dolls because the NP took place the day after the tournament and Dan hadn't finished dropping bombs in Squirrel Prophet yet.

Maybe now that she's hear about what happened to Elliot and how Ashley helped, Pandora might give her the healing spell? At least it's confirmed healing spells exist. The Main 8 already has a tank and dps, need to fill out that healer slot then just find one more person and it can be a raid. And Mopervillains are just the bad guys in Moperville, the rest are just Mopervillians. Actually, based on this, I don't think Pandora gave marks to the people we saw in the August 10th strip, the spells she could have given them wouldn't have had the effect that she wanted. It's probably likely she's using this "survey" to take notes on people's desires and would later on go mark the ones that fit best. Marking everyone she meets would probably draw too much attention to her so she probably has set a specific number that she'll allow herself for now, like 3-4 so she's hoping she can get the most out of those, but she might have to just settle for whatever she gets.
  9. Story: Monday, August 22, 2016

Not likely, Tensaided has first hand knowledge of what happened in the mall, he's the one that called Elliot about the cloaked figure looking for him. Disco Wizard stated he only knew what he saw on the news, though I wonder who Carol ended up interviewing. Will Edward do another replay when Elliot and Nanase go to inform him of what they learned?
  10. Pandora is Being Framed

Considering Helena and Demetrius were first shown speaking fluent French and then switching to fluent English not long after. I'm thinking they're either fast picking up languages, or the knowledge of all the languages carry over from reset to reset. That Helena and Demetrius were initially speaking French was likely due to being reset in France and the confusion afterwards, they would have realized that they'd have to switch to English if they were going to pose as students at MNHS to watch Elliot.
  11. Story Friday August 19, 2016

Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres: You know, I have really had it with this superiority complex of yours. Female Q: It's not a complex, dear, it's a fact. You know, I'm kinda wondering if, in the EGS universe, the ancient gods really did exist, and were actually the Immortals before they set up their rules. They would have been so ancient and powerful and bored that they were constantly meddling in the affairs of mortals, demanding sacrifices and tribute and such, then the "Clash of the Titans" happened, nearly destroyed everything, and the Immortals agreed things had to change.
  12. Story: Monday, August 22, 2016

The ability to phase to different layers of reality was supposed to keep them from fighting with each other over personal space. But not when 2 or more Immortals take interest in the same mortals.
  13. Story: Monday, August 22, 2016

Yeah, I think we all figured Pandora never really intended on talking to Grace in her dreams, just get Disco Wizard's attention. Pandora's mad, but she's still holding herself together better than she did when she had her tantrum with Magus,
  14. All Things Ashley

Grace could have also be basing the relationship being doomed on the types of people Sarah and Elliot are, like "these two feel different things about each other". Even if Elliot wasn't already dating Nanase at the time, he probably would have still tried to avoid Sarah's advances because of him not wanting to potentially ruin a lifelong friendship. Grace could make this assumption because she had met both Sarah and Elliot. She hasn't met Ashley yet so she has no idea what to make of it, so it's understandable that she might be worried.
  15. All Things Ashley

I don't see any of that, Sarah and Elliot didn't work out because of Elliot not only being passive in the relationship, but thinking of Sarah as a sister, plus their relationship was doomed from the start. A Susan and Elliot relationship would similarly be doomed because of Susan's issues with physical contact and trusting men, while she believes that Elliot can't help but be good, there may be instances where she'll have doubts and it may strain the relationship, as it is, both of them have written off their feelings as just teenage hormones. Ashley is not only just as if not more good than Elliot, but the fact that she was willing to jump right into the thick of things says a lot about her despite the lack of any magic abilities, she didn't know what Tara was capable of, and even when she encountered Voltaire, his "advise" didn't stop her either. I dunno how much manga other than Ranma 1/2 she's read but if she's into various manga and anime she could be like Greg in terms of being genre savvy enough to be of help like how she was with solving Nanase's issue with getting a fairy to Elliot.

This is Pandora you're talking about, remember? Besides, it's not EGS if someone doesn't make reference to a person's core every now and then.
  17. Story Wednesday August 17, 2016

Pandora could even do that to help Elliot in a "he's Tedd's best friend and all this new attention could be bad for both him and Tedd" kinda way, but yeah the main thing would be to lure out the Immortal that was messing with Elliot. Probable not likely to happen before Sirleck makes a move on Adrian though. We do not need the equivalent of the "Civil War" happen in the Main Eight.
  18. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

Well, working in a comic shop for over 6 months would certainly help as well.
  19. Things that make you sad.

The Tragically Hip played their last concert in their hometown of Kingston Ontario. They'd been a Canadian rock icon for 30 years and their lead Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. They'll be missed.
  20. Story Wednesday August 17, 2016

Yeah, Ellen would be the easiest choice if she was comfortable with it, we still haven't had confirmation that being male would be bad for Ellen, just speculation from Grace that's a old information now. And then you'd need to have someone play Ellen, which I guess Nanase could probably do well enough.
  21. Story Friday August 19, 2016

It wouldn't surprise me if Dan's built all this up making us think that Jerry's description of what could happen if an Immortal gets too bored and powerful is referring to Pandora, when it's probably Voltaire that's the insane one.
  22. Story Friday August 19, 2016

Actually, forget Susan and Diane, do Jeremy and Max know of each others existence?
  23. Story Wednesday August 17, 2016

A "copy Cheerleadra" plan has been mentioned on the forums before, but it wouldn't do anything to draw attention away since even though it would make people look at Ellen instead of Elliot, the main 8 as a whole would still likely have to deal with the fallout. A better plan would be to get someone they know, but aren't always seen hanging around with them, to play the part of Cheerleadra. Greg might be a good candidate for it, we know he's cosplayed as Chun-Li, so he might not be opposed to getting zapped with a Cheerleadra form. The real trick would be making sure he acts the part well enough.
  24. NP, Friday August 19, 2016

I would think that kind of behaviour from Pandora would get her reset by other Immortals pretty quickly. What she's doing there may be bending the rules, but she's still able to give people marks because it's something they would yearn for are likely to use, her method of questioning is basically getting their permission to mark them. In Ashley's case, and to an extent Sarah's case back in Hammerchlorians, their goodness and maturity negated any fun they could have with the spell. Pandora could in theory still give Ashley the spell, but it would very likely fall under breaking the "empower and guide" rule.
  25. NP, Friday August 19, 2016

The fact that he said that means he has a conscience that going on a zapping rampage would be wrong, Ashley would also have such a conscience saying it's wrong. They both have fantasies about it, they just won't act on them.
