  1. More Speculation.

It could be another hint that the next NP would be about Susan and Diane meeting, but a large part of me feels that something like that is best kept to the main story comics where Dan can get more details on a page.
  2. Yeah, Crusade didn't really grab my attention like B5 did.
  3. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Helena: "Hey uh, Nanase? Sorry to bother you again after 2 years, but Elliot's in danger and we need you and Susan to help protect him"
  4. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I don't think they'd attempt to set up Elliot with Susan, if they did then they failed miserably. Or maybe they predicted Elliot meeting Ashley. Who knows what would have happened if Elliot wasn't on a date with Ashley when Tara found him. The Colonel might have succeeded in getting Tara to kill Elliot if it wasn't for Ashley interfering.
  5. Story Friday April 15, 2016

But we're talking about Magus being in spirit form at the moment, which in theory would be carried by a beam a lot easier. In the link I included in the previous post, Magus refers to Ellen's beam a a conduit, it's likely that he would intend on becoming part of the beam (hence the reason why the beam needs to hit him as well) and then be infused into Elliot.
  6. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Magus needs to have Ellen zap Elliot while Magus is between the two, presumably the beam would push Magus into Elliot's body. Magus would then need to touch the diamond to get split from Elliot. Magus was responsible for Ellen's creation because he made Tedd zap Elliot, I think the reason why he did that was because the TFG is Uryuom technology using a different energy type, Ellen's beam mimics the TFG beam but uses Earth based magic energy so it would be compatible with what Magus needs.
  7. More Speculation.

If he's referring to the one that he said will have Susan in it, I really wonder what it'd be about.
  8. Story Friday April 15, 2016

That's just Magus though, but Magus not only looks like Elliot, but if his plan works, he'll be in Elliot's body and the number of people that know Elliot can at the very least be counted on both hands and feet, and I'm thinking that those around Elliot when Ellen zaps him will notice an immediate change in Elliot's behaviour.
  9. http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=447 In Skyrim, you could probably do the same with a well placed FusRohDah!
  10. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Having Magus with a possess-able body is Sirleck's goal as indicated by his response when Magus said he'd have a powerful wizard his debt. Possessing a powerful wizard would be more enticing that possessing someone who could turn into a girl, even if that girl had enhanced strength and could fly.
  11. Story Friday April 15, 2016

I believe he would also foreshadow when a character is pretending to be something they're not. We've seen too much of Ashley's background (her interactions with Liz for instance) and her thoughts and feelings. And nowhere has there been any indication that she's got any hidden agenda for dating Elliot. Heck, Luke's introduction had indicators that he had other motives for wanting to talk to Justin, the first time we saw Luke talking to his friends, we thought he was part of something bad, but then it just turned out Luke and his friends are just fans of Cheerleadra. When Ashley found Elliot transformed, she initially followed him so she could talk to him about Susan, why would she be so worried about the possibility of Susan dating Bad Tom, the look Ashley had after seeing Bad Tom talking to Susan the first time was not a look of "perfect, I can use this to get close to Elliot".
  12. Story Friday April 15, 2016

    There's also this:
  13. Yeah, you think Greg's reaction to the Lucky Bunny Bounty Show's cancellation was bad, people were outright baffled and pissed that Fox canned Firefly. Especially considering the competition that Firefly had on Fox was Joe Millionaire. It seemed like Fox wanted to cash in on the reality TV genre rather that stick to something with actual storytelling.

    Big Bad Evil Guy?
  15. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Not necessarily, even though Tara and Andrea are gone, there's still the threat of aberrations in Moperville, so I would imagine Helena and Demetrius would try to find someone else to help deal with them. I know Immortals hate aberrations, but it also seems obsessive compulsive with Helena and Demetrius that aberrations must be destroyed when found. I wonder if Jerry has noticed the increase in aberrations in Moperville. I'm sure the Colonel is aware but I'm not surprised he doesn't seem bothered by it.
  16. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

It's possible they also looked at Susan and knew that she had a twin somewhere that she would have to meet at some point. Jerry knew Diane was Susan's sister and it didn't take much for even a freshly reset Jerry to know they were sisters. For 200+ year old Immortals with higher clairvoyance, it probably just required a passing glance at Diane when they were checking up on Nanase and then seeing Susan later for it to click. Again I reiterate, if Helena and Demetrius feared an improper reset interfering with their ability to protect Elliot, they'd want a backup plan, you think Diane would be unnecessary, well maybe they wanted as big a safety net as possible. Instead of 1 vampire hunter to protect Elliot, we'll have 2 soon.
  17. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I meant more Nanase's interaction with Diane, and of course this is if they followed Nanase for a bit as well before her trip to France. Helena and Demetrius were older when they started following Elliot, it's possible they looked at not only his circle of friends at the time but the friends and aquaintances of those friends trying to determine who among them would be capable to protecting Elliot should anything happen to them. Maybe Helena and Demetrius foresaw the danger of being improperly reset and needed to set up a backup plan.
  18. NP: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Just as long as you don't say that to Dan, someone tried that about chibi characters, and we know how that turned out.
  19. Story Friday April 15, 2016

I don't think she specifically NEEDS Elliot for anything other than her entertainment, when she was helping Magus, she made it clear that he needed Elliot. Otherwise, I don't think she would be upset if anything happen to Elliot. Still pretty certain it's tied to why the Colonel wants Elliot dead, whether it's also connected to Magus, I'm not as sure as I used to be about that. Or it could be something completely different, Elliot might turn out to be an Immortal Slayer (caution, very wild theory here). Yeah, I'm pretty certain the guy Sirleck's talking to is one of his friends, at first I thought it was Magus because of the "Me!" response, but then realized if anything Magus should be the one asking for a progress report. So yeah third party, maybe that guy is the one bringing in the aberrations to distract Helena and Demetrius. I'm still betting on Jerry siding with Helena and Demetrius eventually, again Helena and Demetrius came off as Immortals that abused the "guide and empower" rule to recruit Nanase and Susan, and yet they're trying to protect Elliot from possibly several dangers. There's a much bigger picture than we're seeing about Helene and Demetrius' motives and once that's revealed, we'll know for sure whether or not they were right to do what they did. Well we did see in the MV5 NP story that Sarah still thought Elliot was sexy despite having broke up with him. She may understand why they had to break up, but it may still be take a while to shake those thoughts out. Nanase certainly was when Elliot had the new Cheerleadra form. Anyway, Sirleck is still in the same host after what? 6-7 months now? Wait...::double checks:: Sirleck's had that host since March, so going on 10 months now.
  20. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Pandora has been shown trying to teach Adrian lessons in mortality. While it's likely that is only to try to get Adrian to let loose of his restraints and start using his abilities more freely. I do wonder if she was faced with those lessons herself long ago, whether she came to the right conclusions or not is another thing though base of her interactions with Adrian, I'm leaning towards not. Things intended as practical jokes becoming useful is something that happens though, I've seen a few April Fools gags game developers have done get implemented in their game later because it turned out the community thought it was a great idea. Even though the hammers were intended as a silly method of using offensive behaviour as a tool for slapstick comedy. They did have the side effect of stunning aberrations because they were a magical weapon. Maybe if Helena and Demetrius had told them the hammer's origins (which they must have known or else how would they have told Susan where the atifact's location was?) Susan wouldn't have had such a negative reaction when Jerry told her. Then again, if Susan didn't have a negative reaction, Jerry wouldn't have learned about Helena and Demetrius' involvement, and then wouldn't have promised to be Susan's ally, and wouldn't have prevented Diane from drinking the punch... You know, I'm wondering if Helena and Demetrius (before they died) counted on Susan eventually running into Jerry. Let's wild theory this up for now. First off, we know Helena and Demetrius has been following Elliot for some time, even for a while before they died. They would have learned a thing or two about Elliot's friends (Tedd, Sarah, Nanase, Justin) They might have noticed the relation between Tedd and Nanase and their relation to Noriko, so they follow Nanase to France to make sure nothing bad happened to her, because Europe might have more magical dangers, or even the possibility of Noriko's enemies catching wind of Nanase being near and targeting her (Like Not_Tengu did). Susan gets attacked and they notice the resemblance between her and another girl that Nanase's interacted with (Diane) and believe there's something special about them. Helena and Demetrius just can't outright tell them about Diane or Noriko, so they set them up in such a way that will eventually bring Nanase and Susan to the truth. They tell them enough about the hammers for them to use them but not why they were originally created, they also tell them where the artifact is because they know that the creator(Jerry) would soon be resetting and ending the hammer enchantment, they wanted Susan and or Nanase to investigate and meet Jerry before he reset, Jerry would then unknowingly continue what Helena and Demetrius started.
  21. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

The fact that there are a number of Seyunolus and other humanoids in the Second Life reality, there's a chance there would be some with facial antennae. The chance of a alternate of Vlad(ia) specifically though? The chances are pretty low. Grace, Hedge, Gineas and Vlad were created for a specific reason in the EGS Prime universe, if that reason didn't exist in the Second Life universe then Grace and her brothers would likely not exist either. Well Grace might still exist but as Dr (or just Mr) Scuiridae's fully human daughter.

That's why I always put it in quotation marks, it's not literally destroying the world but a a change in how people interact with the world. Like going from stone age to bronze age to iron age, dark ages, renaissance.. heck we went through the nuclear, space, computer and now into the Internet age all within a span of like 70 years, each new age essentially destroying how we viewed and interacted with the world compared to the previous age, the moment we went from BC to AD in terms of how we refer to years can be seen as a world destroying event.
  23. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Oh I agree that the clog is part of the "destroy the world" but only in it's current state of full clog, the original partial blockage, the one that the whale referred to when he stated the the energy in Moperville had been higher than it should be for much of Tedd's life, was likely another completely different plan of Pandora's. The reasons for the partial blockage and the "egg" are separate from the "destroy the world" plan, but there's no denying that Pandora has incorporated portions of those plans in the "destroy the world" plan, like instead of just a partial block, how about a complete clog. Instead of destroying Magus, rough him up a bit then turn him loose. Pepper the population with magic marks and let simmer for a while. Note that the next page, Abraham states that she's not an angel, then the page after that Nanase agrees.
  24. Word of Dan

It probably has to do with people trying to figure out who the Colonel is, I do remember someone posting the wild theory that Ashley was Pandora:
