Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)

My big issue with Hillary is she's not likely to change the current status quo and we really need it. Even a proper democracy needs the right balance of corruption to operate correctly and that includes things like supporting education, healthcare, and infrastructure to ensure plenty of productivity to milk. I'm pretty sure if Trump change our status quo it's be for the worse. -
Nice... Resting Ominous Voice I'm gonna have to borrow that phrase.

Now that's the question isn't it.

Sounds like there is the possibility of a butterfly effect to me.

Another annoying thing is because it IS a military transmitter annex they can't put cell towers near it or directed towards it. Six years ago they removed 11 of the 12 antennas from it and there is talk of the city taking it over but as you can imagine cell reception around it is utter crap. Did I mention I live a block away?

You think that's bad, once a year the Air Force conducts a "shoot 'em-up" drill for penetration incidents at the Malabar Transmitter Annex a block from me. Explosions trump flybys if only by a little.

I would love to see Pandora's take on Rhoda's success.

The underlying API. Most humans have a far easier time making sense of the info retrieved by it than the apps running on Windows do (even those made by Microsoft). Well I did mention Mozilla (who make Firefox and SeaMonkey) and many of the times the changes in those 45 day cycles don't rate a full version either. Thank god most of the plugin makers decided to not set max version compatibility flags anymore.

And how Windows 95/98/98SE/ME were Version 4 and 2000/XP were Version 5 and Vista/7/8/8.1 were Version 6 while 10 is Version 10 (in no small part due to the fact that if they used Version 7, 8, or 9 software would actually have broken because of the way compatibility check are run on Windows causing thing to confuse Version 7 with Windows 7, Version 8 with Windows 8 Version 9 with Windows 9x). Then there's the issue of service packs That said I find how Mozilla & Chrome jump a whole version for their Browser on the slightest excuse every bit as annoying as you find Apple 10.x thing. As little as Chrome has changed there is no excuse for them to be up to version 54 already.

Quite but they aren't that bad as of yet. There your problem right there. Seriously though, they gotten a bit too full of themselves and it's been being reflected in things like that & the travesty Flash has become. Then of course joy of joy they are confusing the issue even more next version by making it macOS (10.12.1) instead of Mac OS X.

An Important Message to All Americans
PSadlon replied to The Old Hack's topic in Off Topic Discussion
As I've often said I love this country, usually followed "it's the government I don't always agree with". My Slovak ancestors came here on the cusp of the WWI fleeing similar persecution by the Austro-Hungarians. I feel the basic ideal set in the Declaration & Constitution were a good foundation to improve on and while we have struggled and fought most of us have tried to maintain and even improve on those concepts. -
Several months isn't that long for someone who's been around as long as she has. That said Tedd's transformation, the magic being a cheat thing, Voltaire's interference...

Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)

It's still funny as hell. I love pointing out inconsistencies like that for particular annoying member of the ends of the political spectrum. "Why would a party so obsessed with commies accept red a the color of their party." & "If they're so anti-government, why do they want to be elected so bad?" have been especially low fruit. -
Yup heh, flatulent mind

This is the sort of person Voltaire is screwing with. I would say I hope she turns him into cat food but I don't want to poison any cats, especially Brownie, Jeffrey, or Max. Given Name Odds: 2:1 on Pandora, 3:1 on Pandora Raven, and 6:1 on Pandora Chaos Raven. Pandra Raven might be the most helpful of the three.
