Sure some drugs should be illegal or controlled but the supposed rhyme or reason we have to it now is BS. I think this is largely a symptom of so many other issues, ignoring infrastructure, economic issues, education issues, social injustices, etc. Taking the root cause will allow us to deal with these symptoms. Two step solution: One: Strengthen internal security using methods similar to those more effective countries are employing, our current methods tend to fall into theater and Orwell with little in between. Two: No more nation building if we were not attacked and action needs to be taken outside our borders we go in as an equal member of a joint coalition of forces. We do this consistently. This when handled well is a good thing. Too bad bad a certain subset of politician mindset is build a wall. I don't entirely disagree but some of the problem is more complex than some understand and some of those who attack or defend so called entitlement spending do so using or based on complete misinformation. All in all there needs to be real reform here based on actual facts rather the what's being toss around currently. We fix 9 we fix 8. I believe everyone has the right to make an honest an honest buck or million or even billion, the key term being honest. I believe just because something is not illegal does not make it honest. I believe there a responsibilities inherent in making that money especially any money above and beyond a decent living wage. And I believe many of the loopholes that are open to those who make well more than a decent living wage but not the average person should not exist. Furthermore If you are a large business and would like a tax relief in order to "expand infrastructure", "create jobs", etc. I do not believe you should get it up front. It should be contingent on you actually having meaningfully done so. We just need true universal healthcare period, the lies about people not paying for their healthcare, be thrice damned. I include this into the healthcare issue as well a vision and dental. It's really all a part of one's overall health and it's past time it was treated that way. We need to make sure we get justices who can rule on laws without political leanings but rather whether a law is Constitutional and harms the rights of people. We are over due for a complete set of reforms there including pay enough staff it keep up with everything. Gun ownership is a right but not an unlimited right, period. Like any such right it has responsibilities, and if you cannot fulfill those responsibilities your right probably should be abridged. These responsibilities should not be exceptionally onerous, being able to demonstrate one has the understanding and capacity to safely & responsibly handle a gun and does not have a history of criminal activity or mental instability. I also believe some weapon are more appropriate for common people like handguns, shot guns and regular old hunting rifles. Crap like M16s & Uzis are tools of war. Push initiatives to lower reliance on fossil fuels (alternate power generation, greater energy efficiency standards, increased hybrid option) at affordable prices. I am for global trade so long as it is does in a way the that at least grows and protects US jobs, preferably without screwing over some other country in the process and ideally where everyone involved benefits from it. The more I see of Pandora the more I actually like her. Sure she's selfish and crazy she doesn't strike me as a jerk (or Cat's J word if you prefer). She's also intelligent and seems to avoid actively lying for the most part (though she does kinda not give you the whole truth). Also note that she freely and without outside prompting set not one but two pretty comprehensive vows upon herself which didn't have any obvious loophole.

So I'm sitting here trying to fit Pandora into the D&D Alignment and I start thinking "Why not the other Immortals too, stupid?" To me it's becoming more and more clear Pandora is Chaotic (much emphasis on chaotic and proud of that fact) Neutral. She may be petty focus much of her abilities on entertaining herself and making the world better for her family there is rarely any true malice to her. Most incidents of true malice for her are triggered thing like her hissy fit over Adrian being hurt (good example of a mother's wrath). While people can get hurt she seems to do a lot of what's in her power to minimize the possibility though if they were hurt sucks for them. Voltaire, I get a sense of Lawful Evil. "Chaos" is an anathema to him and he's pretty good at following the letter of the law. That said his best plan for countering her was to murder Eliot (a Lawful Good) and his backup was to cause a total s--tstorm involving abominations. Jerry, is a bit harder but think neutral good might be the best choices to describe him. He's got a decent sense of right and wrong and sides with what's right even when it's a pain in the butt but he's not overly hung up with the rules themselves plus he is a horrible practical joker. Helena & Dimitri are difficult, in part because of the forced reset. They obviously have some sorta conscience so it's unlikely their evil or chaotic enough to justify anything they want to do. At the same time they don't seemed overly burden with the need to follow the rules or even do the right thing. I kinda want to say they are true neutral but I just don't know for sure.

Elliot seems to be an integral component to Pandora plan, making his removal an integral part of Voltaire's screw Pandora plan. That and Elliot is lawful good while Voltaire is lawful evil making them natural adversaries.
