One D&D is what they are calling the play test for the version to be released in 2024. So far they have released Race and background for character creation and some limited rules. a nat 20 and a nat 1 are successes or failures on any d20 roll, not just attacks. Also not clear on if spell attacks trigger a critical any more. Unarmed strikes have 3 options for them Do Damage Grapple the target assuming it is only one size larger than you or smaller. Shove the target back 5 feet or knock prone, again depending on size

There didn't seem to be enough time for that to happen. I could be wrong, but I think it was Arthur's idea from the start. At least that's what Edward seemed to think.

How secret is a good question. For intelligence agents I suspect it's known, but not how easy it is to get it. I suspect Nanase is, in fact, in violation of some government regulation, which may or may not be a law. And I suspect that the reason she started being more secretive about magic was due to Edward having a heart to heart with her. Knowing the lore of a world is important. It really sucks if the DM hasn't finished making the lore and has to do this on the fly. Makes for an incoherent whole.

A little cat spit never hurt any thing. At least that's what I tell my self after Explorer sips some tea or tastes something I'm eating. Actually she's not the worst cat I've been owned by for that. Keeni was convinced that any thing I ate was also hers.

They seemed to have "need to know" clearance as far back as the end of "Sister", when Edward explained where Ellen came from.

I had a dream last night that I was showing a mundane family around Pennsic. Which was held indoors in something like a mall. Ended up going to a Mongol restaurant (not a Mongolian BBQ) where they served all you can eat chunks of meat. Also spent some time being a banner carrier for my household during an Atlantia court. Which is weird because I didn't go to the Atlantia court IRL.

I'm assuming that she keeps in fairly well hidden and only wears it/has Fox wear it, in her room. Maybe when Ellen is over. -
