The number of times I have quoted out of 2119 might be in the thousands. Definably over 250 times.

Trust me when I say that informal conversational style of explaining things is a bad thing when you are explaining rules. Great for fluff, not so great for the real rules. Don't get me started on May/Should/Must being interchanged.
-
Saying something is weird in the description is weird, just off the top of my head. The text with the comic should go in designer notes, not in the rules. Explaining about better game play is fluff, not crunch and should not be in the crunch. Try to avoid explaining why a rule is in the rules, if you have to explain why a rule exists, that is what notes are for.

Or maybe he keeps them alive. His last long term host was an old man when he died.

While I don't do board game design, the reverse direction explanation is a bit weird. I like the concept but the expression of the mechanic is a bit strange.

Then this one is a very bad headache. Well, not very bad, but damn if it's not responding to my drugs. The lack of any thing for the sinus part I'm sure has to do with that.

Ah, right. My bad. Carry on then.

Point of information, it's their Senior year, last half.

It's sister in law and it looks like I am keeping Black Susan for a while, as, this morning aside, she is much better behaved here than at David and April's house. Plus I like a cat that sits at your feet when on the computer. April, not so much with the liking.

I just learned that if I fail to clean up Black Susan's litterbox each and every morning, I will get to clean to floor and the litterbox the next day. My cup of joy overflows.

Problem with this is that the time to pop all the corn is slightly longer than the time it takes to caramelize the sugar. Which means burnt sugar or about 5% unpopped corn, Working on the timing.
-
Picked it up much earlier than that.
-
Home made kettle corn, or popcorn with caramelized sugar all over it.

I'm American and I use "bloody" at times. Doesn't autocratically mean a brit.

Micro kidney stones. Kicking in as I waddled home from eating way to much at my brother's house for Thanksgiving.

Assuming they work by messing with brain chemistry, they more or less have to.

Page 40 if the 1st AD&D Player's Handbook is confusing as to that. It says they must be memorized "before the adventure" and that it takes 15 minutes per spell level to memorize them. I can see where a select type of DM would make you spend a lot of time every day to have spells, but it doesn't say, explicitly, that they go away. It does say they go away on casting. Page 100 strongly implies that they stick around.

I loved those books. Finishing school indeed.

... he didn't really had any opportunity to TEST his magic did he? Wait. How would the prepared spells survive all those years on astral plane and change of body? Well, Rules As Written, they hang around until you cast them. (0D&D, AD&D and D&D 3.x/Pathfinder). 4th didn't use VM and 5th uses a weird version, but they hang around until you replace them.

I'm only a freelance Table Top RPG writer who been into RPG from the very first. I'm on record as saying that EGS makes me think in Hero System rules, which is odd because I don't normally use Hero. If I was to suggest a rule set to use for EGS I would say Hero Sidekick or PS238, which is HS optimized for school children with super powers.

Maybe Magus uses a version of Vancian Magic and his "Sleep" and "Calm" hadn't been cast yet. If that is the case, he might have problems getting "new" spells to cast.

The rules of magic are different for him, so I would say not.
