That's about what I think. Other than reversing the two candidates, still neither one is real good.
  2. Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)

I am not a happy camper right now. Sirrah Trump has 128 elector college votes according to CNN.
  3. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

Of course, there is in canon speculation about that.
  4. EGS Strip Slaying

    E. Bloom, B. Darmha, A. Bouchard and J. Bouchard might. They would be joined by A. Lanier, but he tragically passed away in 2013.

With the House in Republican hands and it being a toss up on the Senate, there is limited amount of damage she can do. Other than get us into a war with Russia, which while not a zero chance thing, it isn't real high odds either. To be honest, at least to me, less than the chances of me getting a lamictal rash.
  6. EGS Strip Slaying

Nope, but then again, well, yeah, what are our options. Opus isn't either, Giant Meteor doesn't meet residence requirements. This leaves Mortimer J. Abraham Tiberius Nickelovich-Smythe aka "Doc" as our best choice. This, of course is the after election party for 2004, but he is running this year, see banner ad in upper right hand corner of his web site.

While I am also a conservative, I'm really not happy about tomorrow's choices. The be brutal, right now I would rather have Hillary than sirrah Trump. One of the things that is making me slightly less worried about tomorrow is that my go to odds site has had sirrah's chances falling all day. Still to high, but a downward trend is, for him at least, freaking good.
  8. Story Monday November 7, 2016

Yeah, going to be weird for the next few strips.
  9. NP Mon Nov 7, 2016

Here is OK, I'm sure it's my lack of caffeine status right now, but Rhoda got taller. So? I assume that she getting taller, not just bigger means something, but we know you can do that, see "Playing with Dolls" Or is it that her magic mark doesn't work that way? Has she, in fact awakened due to using her mark a lot and thereby gotten some real size adjustment spells?
  10. Changing Medications (Level of Trust Required)

On the positive side of my medication, steering away from the possible fatal issues, every thing I take on a regular basis, other than amphetamine salts, is used either on label or off label for treatment of migraines. Which might explain why I'm getting more "normal" headaches and fewer migraines. I was also told that taking Retoril (aka Temazepam) and Ataivan (aka Lorazepam) at the same time is at best a "side eye bad thing" and a "Very Bad Thing"1 if mixed with alcohol in ANY quantity. He didn't quite say "don't do that" but did say that make sure I have a LOUD alarm clock and not to do that late at night. Then said "still a side eye bad thing". 1I heard both the capital letters and the bold text. He's good at that. He doesn't quite understand that I don't think rolling 100 twice in a row on d100 is safe odds vs a side effect that will put you in the hospital and after you get it you have a 1:50 chance of it being fatal. I've done the 2x100 thing at least 3 times in my gaming career. One another drug side effect he said it was rarer that being struck by lightning. I told him to check my long term medical history. He flipped to the front of my rather thick folder. "OK, bad example, so for you it's being struck again". This was several years ago, not today.

Not bad. A 7 paragraph rant with only one possible insult phrase. (Underlined and bold above). Better than I do most of the time. See post right above this and my frequent use of the term "scum suckers" with regards to a select class of over the phone and email spammers. Just for what it's worth I agree with your 7 paragraphs, just pointing out the danger of terms that might, repeat might, be classed as insulting. I took Hack to task over his pinging me in a PM for but not back during the Sad/Rabid Puppies "debate" on the Hugo awards.
  12. What Are You Ingesting?

Shredded wheat. The official cereal of EGS!!1 1 This statement is based on the location of the US production of the major manufacturer of the cereal being the real world version of Moperville. Which to be honest is pushing it.
  13. An Important Message to All Americans

Just need to keep in mind that any term invented by one group of people to describe another group of people is most likely insulting to the target group. I'm hard pressed to come up with an example that isn't. This is not a challenge to find one, by the way.
  14. An Important Message to All Americans

We have a political thread for a reason. Don't insult people and you should be good.
  15. Videogame Thread

A CC license of 3rd party intellectual property? Feel like pushing the boundaries of copyright and trademark laws this week do we? While Hasbro has been fairly cool about fan works, don't be surprised if you get a "Cease and desist" order in your email some time. They are more touchy about things that are actually their business, like, oh, games, than they are about videos.
  16. Changing Medications (Level of Trust Required)

Not that kind of a rash. It's a condition caused by taking the drug. Details here. Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (Warning, photo is freaking gross) is almost always caused by taking a drug.
  17. Changing Medications (Level of Trust Required)

The problem with lamictal is any change in dose might cause it's damn rash. That's up or down, any change. Roughly one in fifty thousand of the rash being fatal and one in ten thousand of getting it in general.
  18. Changing Medications (Level of Trust Required)

Shrink raised the amount of lamictal I am taking by 50% to 300 mg. So I get to go into low grade panic over rashes for a while again. This is my not quite happy with the world face.
  19. What Are You Ingesting?

With out going into TMI, well, no, really it's TMI, but I'll bet you pee for the next couple of days is going to be really brightly colored. Good luck on fighting off the cold or what ever it is.
  20. Things That Are Just Annoying

Well, I'm getting sort of targeted emails now. Not that is really something you want, you understand. I just added another domain to my list of domains and, again, forgot to use the hide your real ID option, so whois is returning real data. I'm getting a ton of people, who it seems, don't really read English (based on their response and the implied NSFW domain name) but are willing, for a big pile of cash, turn it into a monetized web machine. I've got an semi-auto reply of "Never contact me again" set up for these messages, but I'm willing to bet that even just sending that back will trigger a reply from the scum suckers. We will see what we will see.
  21. Things that make you worried.

I'm getting video memory "screen hash" at times, when Firefox changes screens, for example. That can point to a video system about to crap out. I am less than thrilled about that idea right now. Could also be a problem with Firefox, which, TBH, is slightly more likely. Either way the pink video hash is Not A Good Thing.
  22. What Are You Ingesting?

Bacon and tea. Bacon done via the "in the 350 degree oven for 10 minutes" method. So much easier than trying to pan fry it, at least for me. If you like crispy bacon, go a few minutes longer, but be careful, the tipping point between "crispy" and "carbon" is fairly thin. Not an issue in my case because I like chewy bacon, but I have seen what happens if you leave it in to long. Tea, alas, is normal tea. PGTips bag tea.
  23. Things You Find Amusing

I want a rocket launcher that shoots flaming chainsaws. Also Roger is still my spirit animal.
  24. I don't know if either of these two links will work. Image -- Message. Assuming the text in the message is any thing like canon, the OT3 might as well be canon now. Plus Ms Sarah "I have a no cleavage clause in my contract" Brown now forgets to put on clothes before going to Tedd's lab, much less leaving? This Is Canon. Sorry, that's just the way it has to be.
  25. The Weather.

Earthquake. Stronger (5.3) and slightly closer than the last one. Also due west.
