The Moderator: *dryly* Yes, we have heard that particular lament of yours before and it did not impress then, either. If you are sore about not getting enough action, I recommend porn. Otherwise, stick to constructive criticism according to the FAQ rules.

I am sorry, old friend. All I can think of is that you need to get through these blasted representatives and speak with an actual medical professional. One who isn't a company man. The doctor you have some confidence in springs to mind. Get some advice and support from him, then return to the representatives armed with what he has to tell you. It is possible CritterKeeper also has suggestions. I wish I had more to offer you, apart from my support and my thoughts. *sigh* -

The Moderator: I am temporarily locking this thread. This has nothing to do with this forum but is because I am dealing with some personal as well as local issues that have my temper more than a little frayed. As a precaution I am cutting down on potential stressors. I am sorry for the inconvenience and hope to reopen the thread again soon. Thank you all for your patience. -

Hang in there, Prof. I hope this will work out. Good luck. -
This is true, or something else we haven't seen. The vampire aberration in France might also be an underlying factor. But please note that I was not saying Susan was either, only differentiating them. She could be either of these or even something we haven't mapped out yet.

The way I understood this is that if it involves her personally, she has issues with it. That was the definite impression I got from the last page. Being asexual is a perfectly valid position on the spectrum. Some people are just not interested and that is fine. What you are speaking of -- the trauma-induced phenomenon -- is called erotophobia and is not the same thing. Erotophobes have sex drives, they are just terrified of engaging sexually with people.

That is what I call running with the fast crowd.

Nonetheless, I am sure the kitties are still grateful for them during more ordinary bad weather such as rainstorms or the like. -

*eyes wife's cat* I wonder precisely when 'spoiled' becomes 'too spoiled'. If that mendacious and manipulative little beast is to be believed, we haven't hit the mark yet. A funny moment on Messenger earlier: my wife was talking about the feral cats outside. Autocorrect turned 'ferals' into 'freaks.' For a moment I was wondering why my wife was talking about setting out a bowl of water and food for the freaks. -
Ah right. Fair enough.

Maybe you could try having a corporate fleet lying in ambush for it?

Maybe you could try Animal Planet? Having it run Too Cute might be helpful for your relaxation and stress levels at least. ...sorry, dumb joke. It is just one of my favourite programs when I feel down. -
Actually he was. He snapped its neck, which should have killed it except it was a summon with its energy being constantly replenished.

Don't lose hope. It may be that they will find a setting that works much better. Unfortunately this may require experimentation so I am afraid that right now you have to arm yourself with patience. -

Bugger all this for a lark. Okay. My Sith Warrior in The Old Republic FINALLY managed to get a complete Bastila Shan outfit. You have no idea how long I have wanted that. Problem: It does not look right on her. At all. Insult to injury: It looks awesome on her companion Vette. SHE can carry it off, blast her green Twi'lek hide. I hate her. -
At this point I have to wonder, is there even any such animal as a truly straight person?

http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2414 What? It's almost Halloween. We are allowed some chills. ETA: If Diane has done cheerleading, she most likely also has potential in a fight. Cheerleaders are often pretty goldarn strong.

I am still entertaining high hopes for hydrogen. Once a reliable and efficient way has been found to convert it into helium, Earth's energy problems should be resolved for the foreseeable future. Admittedly hydrogen does not count as 'renewable' as there is only a finite amount of hydrogen on Earth but the reserve is so vast that I do not think we will suffer a shortage in the next millennium or two. -
I think hkmaly meant 'opening hours' rather than time itself.

That depends on how many cards each player gets and how common the individual types are. If we assume that all types are equally common and that a player starts with seven cards, that will make it achievable provided that you draw a card each round. However, let us say that some effects will cause you to lose cards -- whether random cards or all cards of a given type -- and you are already in trouble. More, not all cards may be meant for use on oneself. Some of them might be intended for use on other players or are of the type that modifies gameplay without allowing transformations. Let's say 40% of all cards are of this type. Suddenly that beginning hand is much less likely to allow three fast winning moves and it will take longer still to draw the extra transformations you need. You might still be right, of course. It's just that I am less sure, not knowing what complications Dan has tossed into the game yet.
