I'm not sure what I'm going to do when it gets cold.  With windchill due to e-bike speed it was 31 (freedom units) [-1 rest of world]  I know I'm going to need better gloves and will need to wear 2 pair of socks.  Not looking forward to winter.

"I'll mark the desk as mine.  I'll let The Human use it, but it's my desk!" - Explorer the Cat.
 

During my 1st tour in Germany, "Chicken Man" was an important part of morning rituals.  When it finished, you had 5 minutes to finish breakfast and get out side for morning formation.  Of course this was the same unit that had betting pools on what the letter of the day was on Sesame Street.

"I'm not grumpy and I'm not in the way.  You haven't even started the tea water yet.  I'll move when you finish making tea.  Maybe.  Depends on how I feel" - Explorer the Cat.
 
 

"This is my favorite blanket to nap on.  Some times it's on the bed, sometimes it on the floor sometimes it's 'put away'.  Regardless I nap on it when ever possible" - Explorer the Cat.

 

"Gonna just lay here for a while.  Then I think I'll run around for a bit." - Explorer the Cat.

I'm home from the hospital. As far as I know, everything went without problems. I've got a bit of bleeding on my left big toe where the doctor trimmed a bit of bone off the tip, but it's nothing serious and should stop at any time. As for the right foot, well, I've got some throbbing with it elevated and a good deal of pain when I try to walk on it. It definitely hurts.
They've got me in surgical shoes on both feet. I definitely look weird, and I feel sorry for Mrs. Prof, who's taking care of almost all of my walking duties for the foreseeable future (bathroom duties are still left to me). It's going to be a real pain when she leaves to take care of cat duties.
