Reading this on a small phone screen. My 1st thought was Magus was trying to bully his way through liquidating more of Srileck's wealth. That's not Magus. Is Dan trolling the charachter count by introducing new characgters at the end of the month without naming them?

Tedd thinks of himself as a scientist, but he is very much an artist. And a frustrating or challenging part of being an artist is that you are limited to the tools and materials you can obtain and control. Most directors, unlike like Spielberg for example, do not have John Williams in their head perfectly interpreting the musical portion of their vision for the film. So they must rely on the work of mere mortal composer-conductors. I wouldn't be surprised if Tedd has an idea for a Solar Sail. But without intimate knowledge of fabric behavior and sewing techniques, he would be be stuck using sheets from the clearance bin of Bed, Bath & Beyond. (Although I suspect Tedd has long been a customer in the Beyond section)
