Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

http://TheHeroesOfCRASH.com Ask me or my characters questions at https://curiouscat.me/heroesofcrash! I told you that there would be a filler and a little something special, so here it is! As I explain in this week's filler, you can ask me or my characters questions (That I may answer as long as they aren't inappropriate, personal, or spoilery) through the Curious Cat website. My username there, of course, is heroesofcrash. Who knows? I may draw up a response. Could make for a fun filler comic sometime in the future when I'm in a pinch...!

Comic and Filler 8/17/19 - "Just Something We Have" and "HoC Milkshakes"
heroesofcrash posted a topic in Heroes Of Crash
TheHeroesOfCRASH.com Hey, folks! I'm still working on getting my website updated, AND I won't have a new update next week while I'm in San Antonio, so here's this week's comic AND some delicious recipes for Heroes of C.R.A.S.H. milkshakes! Not much to say about today's comic, except that some of the dialogue about feelings was inspired by a book I had as a child about sticking up for yourself. It's important to recognize that feelings aren't good or bad in and of themselves; they just need to be dealt with in a healthy way. I'd previously thought of trying to turn HoC into either an ice cream flavor or some sort of cereal (After all, my comic is based on Saturday morning cartoons, and what goes better with them than cereal?). But when Jessi Sheron, creator of the webcomic The Sea in You (Check my Links page!), started the #MakeYourComicADrink hashtag on Twitter, I thought of what to do with my comic. I had considered some sort of float, soda combination, or hot chocolate mix, but then Jessi suggested I do a milkshake. Brilliant! I could take my ideas for HoC ice cream flavors, and make them milkshakes, which are WAY easier to make! So here's three recipes based on my main three heroes! I have some ideas for other recipes for my other heroes as well, but these three seem like an ideal place to start. Give them a try and let me know how you like them! #webcomic #webcomics #comic #comics #superhero #superheroes #superheroine #superheroines #milkshake #milkshakes-

TheHeroesOfCRASH.com You can't buy happiness, time lost, or peace of mind... but you can buy nostalgic comics. Close enough! Between a lot of chaotic stuff happening at home and the fact that it's my birthday week, I just did a quick, simple filler featuring me and Cannon. I love working on my comic, but it was fun getting to relax and take a break; I spent time doodling some just-for-fun fan art as a change of pace. I've posted some of them on my Twitter, if you want to check them out! If you're reading this on Saturday, May 19th, there's STILL TIME to submit an entry to my art contest! I'm accepting entries until 11:59 PM (EST), so send in a drawing or video game avatar by then if you want a prize! You can click on the button on my main page for the rules. If you don't submit your entry on time, you could always save it for next year. Or send it to me now; I always love getting fan art, and I'll always post it to my Fan Art Page! And if you haven't sent in any entry at all, do me a favor and like, share, and comment on my comic! That, or do what Cannon did and buy me a Darkwing Duck comic book. I've been on a Darkwing kick ever since that brief Ducktales cameo...

I think my comic explains it well, but here's the basic summary: 1. I'm going on vacation for two weeks, so I won't be unable to update TheHeroesOfCRASH.com until I return. 2. I'm holding a contest in the meantime. 3. I will post coded messages from my characters on Twitter; crack the code and send a reply tweet telling me what city/state they're in. 4. Send me the correct answer first to get a point. The Twitter user with the most points gets a drawing. If you want to get into the details of how to crack the code, read the comic. Good luck! Oh, and also, check out my comic characters' cameos at Sailor Sun Dot Org! It's on my Links page!

TheHeroesOfCRASH.com Dexter and I bid a fond farewell to 2017... by which I mean, we're fond of the fact we're bidding farewell. 2017 has been a rough year. Natural disasters, an awful tax bill, threats to Net Neutrality and healthcare, half the celebrities we like that survived 2016 turn out to be racist or accused of harassing women, and of course, we have a president so awful and unqualified that there's probably nothing I can say about him that hasn't been said already. Despite all that, I have high hopes for 2018. Many of us who survived what 2017 threw at us fought for our rights and the rights of others. We protested. We called representatives. We made the media notice. We made the government notice. We flipped seats. We didn't back down. And I don't plan on backing down in 2018. Sometimes, we need a fire lit under our butts to get active and make a change. And sometimes that fire just happens to be a garbage fire of a year. Get out there and take 2018 by the horns. MAKE IT YOUR YEAR.

theheroesofcrash.com Hoo boy... Dexter's not terribly optimistic about 2017. Personally, although I think it would be naive to assume that any problems we had in 2016 will go away by themselves come January first, I'm a bit more hopeful that we as a people can turn things around by getting active and trying to make this world better. While 2016 has had its share of terrible events - from celebrity deaths, to a zoo tragedy becoming a ridiculous meme, to a racist tangerine being elected to the most powerful office in the world - I'm at least glad that I was able to make my own year a little better with my Daily Drawings. It was fun, it got my art a lot of attention, it got me to experiment with my art, and it's the first New Year's resolution I actually kept. That being said - although I may do a few bonus drawings that I owe after New Year's - I do not plan to continue the Daily Drawings into 2017. Instead, I'm going to take some time to focus on improving my writing. As a webcomic creator, art is but half of the equation. I want better dialogue, deeper characters, and more engaging storylines, so I want to get better at writing so that The Heroes of C.R.A.S.H. can continue to improve. I also have a few ideas for other books and projects I'd like to flesh out further, but I'm keeping them under my hat... for now...! Wishing you all a happy 2017! And if it's not turning out happy, I wish you the best of luck in going out there and MAKING it happy!
