Perhaps not a traditional Leotard, but a variation on the Uryuom worker's suit.  Something that changes with the body would need to be in contact with the body.

And Vladia, I am certain that the meddling kids will heed your warning and stay away from the investigation.

Yah, and those worker suits are supposed to protect against cuts, chemical burns, and thermal burns, so it makes sense for Po to be wearing such a thing if she was expecting a fight.

I suspect that making them bullet-resistant is not going to happen with something as thin and close fitting as those are.  Of course we are dealing with magical clothing, so it's possible.

Doesn't matter. These kids are chaos magnets. If they don't get involved in the investigation, the investigation will get (further) involved with them.

"And I would hove gotten away with it if not for those meddling kids!" I often thought that I'd have chosen a different different adjective.

In any case, yeah it wouldn't be much of a story if Bishop and Vladia handled it all off-screen.

That's sort of the whole point of the comic.  Sarah wasn't really one util Pandora took an interest in her, then she was Chaotic Good like the rest of them.

Small firearms may not be much of a thing  on their side, given the emphasis on magic-based combat and the almost religious loathing of technology.

From what we have seen, it's mainly melee combat at that.

Yah, the villain uses a handgun in that one, but nowhere are guns prevalent enough that specifically “bullet resistance” is anything that people plan for, which was why we were speculating about the lack of anti-ballistic defenses.

Yah, the villain uses a handgun in that one . . .

The villain does not use a handgun. The protagonist uses a handgun, at the end, to beat the villain while the villain is gloating over his pending victory.

The bad guys do use modern weapons; I seem to recall roto-scoped German WWWII tanks, but that could be my memory playing tricks on me.

Just remember, no nukes is good nukes.
