Welcome! 03/05/2016
Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

*cough* "Where lost socks go" is the best universe.
-
I find it hard to believe it doesn't cause problems of some sort on their side. My best guess would be as you said about making it harder to learn new magic. So if it persists it might cause the slow die out of magic users over there I believe all those universes are different coins, but if the dice theory is more correct, then it's entirely possible that all the universes seen in the comic so far are connected to each other. I think we need more information before we can really conclude one way or the other about those universes, though the way they are talked about in this comic does suggest that they are separate universes rather than different parts of this one. Them being connected in some way (divergent or overlapping?) is almost certain with the similarities between them, having most of the same characters and all.

Do I get to feel a little smug for the coin metaphor now?
-
If it weren't for the idea that they're from the other half of EGS-land, I'd be down for the idea of them being alternate universe alternates of Tedd and Elliot/Ellen. What's to stop them from being "the first half" of Elliot and Tedd? ........ Not that I think they are mind you. They're similar enough to be alternates, but since they're not that, I think too many of the details are different to be quite as intertwined as first and second halves. Also, I'd think they'd notice.

The best way to play chess is the way in which you steal your enemies pieces
-
Now that is an awkward way to end a storyline. Sounds like a very Teddish way to play chess though

Yeah, the forums died and had to be rebuilt

questions, questions.... Color (meh) Prefered pets? Curiosity, impulsiveness/deliberateness, creativity Introverted/extroverted Personality tests are a good place to look for ideas

Two sides of the same coin. One world with two halves. Magic flows between them, the question is how intertwined they are in addition to that. It could be that all they share is a pool of magic and a common barrier of sorts, but I doubt that. Magic may be what underlies physics in this world, or it could be just another form of energy (with a mind). Events on one side may affect probabilities on the other, or events more directly...

soooo, basically the idea is to post something and hope the thread dies?

At a Ninja party

well, getting ninja outfits and figuring out how to put them on and all that. And Amanda probably needed to practice that kick, and make the "ninja shrink" powder. Lots of prep for that little interruption *reads commentary* Our future selves are perpetually about to do something

Well, I do trust Dan to do a good job with it. As for how Grace would play in Fallout New Vegas, I kinda suspect the evil route :3

Why 7? (That game gets way more hype than it deserves >.>)
-
Eh, ok. I still don't like it exactly, but none of them really account of "dangerous rarity," so no real reason not to do Earth Pony I'm pretty sure the christmas thing is completely out of the blue and has nothing to do with anything.
-
Dan promised Tedd would show up? I was gonna say Tedd was an Alicorn, but Nanase works. Neither Earth Pony (he's too odd) nor Unicorn (magic but not) quite sits right for Tedd with me, so Pegasus?

That makes sense. Though, if the spidervamp was a tailor before, he may have a monster and non-monster form, and not need to have disappeared. (Too lazy to hunt down the entire quote chain)

Oh? I take of my shirt to shower XD Well, in the shower yes. And I could use a towel (bleh). But there's a hallway between my room and the showers, and I think they'd frown on me running around shirtless.

I'd say the tailor mysteriously disappeared before making it

Uh, Dan, those are *our* questions. I mean, I'm sure Diane and Charlotte would come to them too, but I doubt those are their first questions. Except maybe that accent one, and the third one. But mostly our questions

So many great stories XD Living in a dorm, I'm beginning to resent the fact that I have to put on a shirt to go take a shower XD

Seconded More likely they just evolved separately. The "hair" is certainly odd enough

Agree. Newton would totally see black hole as impossible. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic (Clarke) and any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from technology (Girl Genius). The really weird issue is the magic reset. Apparently, while "other" physical laws are solid, magic laws can change a lot. My understanding is that the laws can change because magic has a mind, of a sort. So it may be like computers in that there are underlying rules that it always has to follow, but the operating system and user interface can change drastically.

I wonder if the format of the website changed recently and it got cut off accidently... That doesn't make much sense, but neither does him changing it intentionally
