I think it's just her outfit being different. When she first visited Sarah, she had a Princess Peach theme going, this time around it's a Princess Anna theme. Next time we see child Pandora, I wonder if she'll be Princess Zelda.

That should mean that said Immortal should be close to resetting and therefore needing to de-power the artifact. Hmm, I wonder if this is why Jerry didn't get into trouble by making the hammer artifact and empowering a large portion of the population. It never got used with enough frequency to draw attention to magic, and the fact that removing the enchant upon resetting guaranteed that such a spell would be forgotten after a while.

Susan has several moments prior to her angst-induced awakening that could be considered strong emotions, the numerous times she was reminded of her dad's cheating, her feelings during the ordeal with the uniforms, of course magic having a flair for the dramatic could have played into it, like "Angst over dad? No. Angst over high school drama? No. Angst over origin of the hammers? Sure!" I'm not sure if the example you give would fit as being strong enough to trigger an awakening though, even the examples I gave might be pushing it. If I were to choose examples of strong enough emotions to trigger an awakening, I'd go with Ellen's concern for Nanase's life causing her to fire a super charged beam at Vlad, Elliot's sudden change into cat form when Hedge first attacked him and Sarah might have been due to his concern for Sarah's safety as well or maybe him being able to change again without as much exhaustion when he felt that surrendering to Damien would put Ellen in danger of becoming breeding stock for him. If Nanase wasn't already awakened, her determination for protecting Ellen and fear of losing her would certainly have been enough to trigger one. For Ellen and Elliot's examples, I'm not going to claim that it's what actually triggered their awakenings, the timeline would seem right for it and Ellen's super amped beam might be considered a new spell, but the fact that they had energy buildups doesn't allow it to fit properly, they could have technically been awakened immediately by the diamond when Elliot touched it, and it took a couple months for the energy buildups to reach critical, or they could have just spontaneously awakened when each of them first had their accidental transformation. Then, how did Elliot, Nanase, and Justin learn basic illusion magic without being marked? Maybe mages in training have to endure physical training in order to get their first spell. I guess you could say that there'd be strong emotion involved with that. I'd be willing to bet Nanase did have some basic illusion magic before she was awakened. I also believe that Nanase's a special case as well given her family lineage, she probably would have awakened on her own if Helena and Demetrius didn't awaken her.

I was hoping that Pandora was going to be up front with Sarah about it, a nice surprise to see Sarah understanding and that Pandora's loving that fact. Maybe Pandora's plan has Sarah using the spell or somehow exercising her magic muscle enough. That might be why Pandora went back to Sarah, because she wants to see what kind of fun Sarah has with that spell. Well that and more likely the fact that Sarah has already shown that she can handle interacting with Pandora.

Yeah Dr Scuiridae had said that Grace aged slower than normal and looked 16 despite being almost 18, that probably has more to do with her Uryuom and Lespuko DNA, Noah also looks like he could be younger than he is so probably just having Uryuom DNA is enough.

I'm thinking more like this is the type of thing where Rhoda and Catalina could just leave the mall normally and if someone was to ask about the ears and tail, Catalina could easily claim that she's cosplaying a catgirl. Instead Catalina believes that there could be serious trouble if people notice her.

I'm actually gonna call it here and say that the change blindness is soo strong right now, that even if Catalina and Rhoda were to draw attention with the way they leave the mall, people will just see two girls acting goofy and the cat ears and tail still won't be noticed.

The key is the fact that Uryuoms naturally generate their own power, it's core to them. Earth magic energy is everywhere, albeit to varying degrees depending on location. Grace currently does not have any Earth magic energy as evidenced by her inability to use the watches. If she could suppress her Uryuom power, then it's possible the combination of the watch and ambient energy could kickstart Grace on the path to being a magic user, and that could likely also work for Uryuoms as well.

Awakening naturally is based on how much energy you can generate yourself, the amount is increased by using spells frequently enough, like exercise. Justin was able to use basic illusions due to his ASMA training before he was marked so he probably had enough magic energy to be awakened any time between getting marked and the card tournament. Susan didn't have any prior experience with magic when she was marked so she probably didn't have much more energy than Sarah at first. The angst-induced awakened was natural, yes, but if she didn't have one, how long do you think she would have gone before something else triggered it. Immortal awakenings are kinda cheaty as they really aren't natural, but they don't have the side effects of an unnatural awakening like touching the dewitchery diamond. As far as non-emotional awakenings go, I don't know for sure how one would know they've awakened aside from accidentally casting a brand new spell. Maybe those that are actually training to be magic users have a spell book linked to them once they've been able to cast their first spell, and then they just keep checking as they training to find out if they get something new to indicate they've awakened. As I said in the first part of this post, Justin had a head start with his magic training, quite possibly a few months before Susan was marked as Elliot introduced Justin to the ASMA class during freshman year while Susan was marked during the summer after freshman year. Justin might not have used his first illusion till after Susan was marked but he still would have been getting himself primed for magic and was definitely ahead in power when he was marked compared to Rhoda.

I think just like Grace though, Uryuoms potentially could gain the ability to use magic, if they were able to suppress their Uryuom Power.

It's been discussed before that it's very possible that Mr Pompoms got Ms Pompoms and Diane's biological mother pregnant days, maybe even a week or so apart, and they just happened to give birth within 20 minutes of each other.

We know Pandora likes to troll mortals, Sarah's question mark being proof of that. Luke finding a mark on Justin would have been boring, but not finding a mark left them not knowing that Justin was marked to begin with, they're making assumptions and Pandora would rather see people making assumptions because either they assume correctly which might surprise her, or they assume wrong and make things amusing for her. Which goes to my mention of Rhoda using the spell often after discovering it, but again we don't know exactly when that happened, it could have been days after the boar, or near the end of summer, or even a couple weeks before the NP takes place. Also we don't know how long it should take someone to awaken after their marked, Justin was awakened by Pandora 9 months after she marked him, Susan had her angst induced awakening nearly 2 years after being marked. Considering Susan used the hammers often enough to earn the title of Hammer Queen, plus the chest of items she's probably used a few times, I'd be willing to say Susan could be closest to a relatively natural awakening, at least in terms of anyone being in Moperville prior to the energy clog. There's also the fact that we don't actually know what a natural awakening looks like, is there some feeling a person gets? A flash of light? Or does the person accidentally use a new spell that they wouldn't have had with the mark? Rhoda would have the advantage of higher ambient energy letting her use the spell if she didn't have enough of her own energy pool, but as I also stated it wouldn't help of she used it too frequently and letting the ambient energy do the work. At most, Rhoda would have 5 months between the incident with the boar and Halloween, is that enough time to awaken?

Like I said before, either Sarah was probably all "I need to tell someone" and Elliot was first in her contact list, or Pandora mentioned Elliot in her most recent meeting with Sarah. Either way Grace probably texted back saying Elliot had to deal with something and asked if she could help and Sarah said yes.

Just read this article that states 8K resolution is basically the best you can get, mind you it would require graphics cards 6 times more powerful than the best we currently have and most certainly would start out needing multiple cards running SLI/Crossfire. Considering they're already talking about 8K, I'd say it'll be within the next 5 years we see actual hardware for it, another 5 for it to become somewhat affordable for enthusiasts.

I'm thinking we have to be getting to the point where graphics quality can't be noticeably improved any further and so hardware would be able to get ahead, as far as I can tell, we've plateaued on audio quality years ago (I base this mainly on the fact that I haven't heard anyone saying I need to use X audio card instead of the one integrated with the motherboard) though audio mixing is a thing that requires different hardware altogether but can be done on the fly easily enough with little impact on CPU, most people when rendering video, can't do much else until it's done.

I think it is the confirmation that she's connected her spell with a mark she got out of the blue. No clue as to when she finally noticed the mark or when she realized she had the spell, best possible guess would be it happened over the summer. I want to believe it would be when Catalina and Rhoda went to the beach and Catalina noticed it after they got into their swimsuits. That would be the most likely scenario. Possible? I mean Pandora awakened Justin later to mess with Luke, maybe Pandora awakened Rhoda as well? I dunno, I guess it depends on how often Rhoda used her spell once she figured out she had one, but based on Pandora's first talk with Sarah, she would have needed to use it sparingly enough to not let the ambient energy do all the work. It's also possible she used past tense to refer to when she(or they) first noticed the mark. Elliot managed to roll a successful intervention to keep Catalina from doing anything drastic in order to apologize to Rhoda.

I think it's just Dan baiting the OTT shippers with a hint Edward suspects something. There's no reason for him to be suspicious of Sarah wanting to talk to Tedd or Grace, she's one of Tedd's oldest friends, has taken to spending hours at his house again lately, and Edward basically introduced her to Grace. Though he might be worried about her personally - parents do tend to extend a bit of parental concern to their kids friends. ... he might be worried Tedd made Sarah pregnant. The "Sarah is pregnant and is contacting potential fathers" scenario. ... I know that I would be worried that if teenagers spends hours together some sex may be happening. Which might easily be true (The sex, not the pregnancy. Tedd spends so much time as a girl he likely wouldn't make Sarah pregnant even if he tried. And Sarah might also be on the "using transformations to reset menstruation cycle" instead of using contraceptive pills.) Or, Edward is suspicious that what Sarah wants to talk about is related to everything that's happened so far. I mean, Elliot gets 3 texts within seconds of each other and Sarah's happens to be vague but urgent that she contacted Elliot first but has no problem talking to Grace and Tedd. Edward just can't help but wonder if there's more going on that might require him to broaden the coverup plan.

It might be for people who were around back when contacting someone over phone was referring to as "dialing" and it carried over even if referring to texting because you still need to select a person in your contact list to text or call. At least in North America it could be. Or maybe just me. I'm not a cell phone user. Maybe, but if she does care about any friends Tedd has, she might want to give him a heads up. Or maybe she wants to try to set up a situation where she can catch Voltaire doing something. Though she missed out on a very good chance by visiting Sarah first.

Oh hey, just realized, Sarah knows Tedd can see magic spells in action, she's probably wants to show him her spell as well. Mainly though I think she wants to talk more about fixing the energy clog. Also it occurred to me that maybe she texted Elliot first because Pandora mentioned Elliot being in danger from another Immortal?

Grace might have just wanted to be helpful, she might have thought the urgency was to do with what happened to Elliot last night and Grace could have easily enough filled Sarah in on what's happened since. We only saw the last text Sarah sent but I'm guessing when Sarah got the initial text from Grace she figured that since Grace was the one that had the prophetic dreams about marks, her and Tedd would be even better to talk to about her mark. Grace isn't technically lying, she might not know exactly what Sarah wants to talk about, Sarah's texts might have been intentionally vague in case Edward saw them. Sarah's mark does count as a personal matter and Grace and Tedd would very likely be advising Sarah about what she should do, they might say that Edward needs to know and convince her to tell him, we won't know until the time comes though. This is just Sunday, the arc is likely to take several comic days, I'm sure we'll see Justin at some point, likely at school though but still, he's not really required for any of what's going on right now. Magus might be around, but he might also still be laying low until he's sure Helena and Demetrius are sufficiently distracted.
