In theory time_t should be 64 bits by then, but you know that there is going to be some important system that hasn't updated their header files or has some other reason to keep time_t (like fixed sized database structs) 32 bit and Bad Things are gonna happen.

I had planed on the Assassin attacking the party one at a time in there rooms. But, no, the whole party all 6 of them, plus two animals from a bag of tricks had to cram themselves into one room. Even so, I almost took down the primary fighter in the group in round one. Then things went to crap for the assassin.

Nope! They got back to me and I have a ride. One less stress factor in my life!

I have this distinct feeling that I'm going to ride the eBike to my clinic appointment tomorrow as SEK-CAP hasn't gotten back to me about arranging a ride. Not as bad as going to the north clinic, but still more riding on busy roads than I would like.

A while ago I got a box of mixed flavor instant grits. Just had my first "cheddar cheese" package. I liked it so much I went and bought a box of just it. And don't give me crap about instant grits 1) I'm not a real southerner 2) I want my breakfast NOW not in an hour

If there was any question the DaveB isn't a graphic design geek, today's GrrlPower puts that to rest. https://www.grrlpowercomic.com/archives/comic/grrl-power-1273-going-loud/

The Warning's latest album. It rocks hard.

It was a different time. In those day's Norton was a well respected software house. That was before Peter sold it. Norton Utilities and Norton Commander were a great set of Utilities. Norton Commander lives on today on Unix and Unix like systems as Midnight Commander (mc vs nc) I use mc daily. I also used the hell out of Norton's Editor for programming.

"Thunderstorms possible after 3 am." I'm good with that. Cooling it off.

I remember when hard drives varied in reliability, and there were utilities to scan the drive. Not to mention defragmening the drive!

Assassin sneak attack requires that either he have advantage on the attack or a friendly to the assassin creature be within 5 feet of the target. It's not sneaky as such.

thankfully I get hot pizza here, Granted it's normally a guy that delivers.

Hypnotic Pattern sucks when being used against monsters with a low wis save. Took out 3 of 4 trolls. Surviving troll was only able to get one awake when the party closed. Also an Assassin that crits with a flaming cross bow bolt does with sneak attack, on the average, 84 points of damage. 20d6, 2d8, 2d4. I just took the average, I'm not rolling 20d6 on the small area of the desk I have as a rolling area. The trolls had 84 points. (not the same encounter, they are in an area called "The Troll Fens". Crap ton of trolls.) Well, it sucks from the DM point of view. Quite good from the players point of view

"The Human is out of bed. He seems to be a little green. I'm gonna watch him for a while. He's sitting down so he's not gonna fall on his butt like he did when he got out of bed this morning. Made me worried!" - Explorer the Cat.

I got a box of mixed flavored instant grits to have some breakfast food. Today I pulled an "original" i.e unflavored bag. Added a dash of Mongolian fire oil to it. Will do that again when I get unflavored. Just hot enough to be interesting, not hot enough to bother my white boy taste buds.

Got up and almost fell on my butt. Staying in bed until the anti-vertigo pill kicks in.

It's within the realm of the possible that Diane, Lucy and Rhoda might have gone blowing as a group with out boys. Lucy would have wanted this.
