Ashley (my cat) is at least 11 years old. We got her as a adult stray. It just been in the last 5 or so years that she has done the charge about then sleep thing.

Max was quite willing to ash Kevin's head if he didn't surrender. I don't think that ArcSwat, in general has a "code against killing". In fact Max said as much at the artillery range. With a cool flaming background.

Actually if you made it to 20 your odds of a "normal" human lifespan was pretty good. What brings down the average life expectancy was the massive infant mortality rate. This, of course assumes that you don't get killed by a wound inflicted on you by a pissed off fellow human, or magical lion bears.

Just because she has a , err healthy sex life, doesn't make her not a hero. Nothing she has done in the run of the comic would indicate any thing less than heroic status, unlike, say, Harem.

My cat living up to her nickname, "The Cat of Variable Speed". She is going to run around the living area for about 10 more minutes then go to sleep for a couple of hours. That is assuming she does the same thing as she has done for the last three years or so.

Given that there is 6 years of adventuring before Adrian was born, we need to have at least a couple of NP arcs about the adventures of Pandora and Blaike. I would say a whole separate comic, but I'd rather Dan not spread his time around any more than he needs to. And I still say that Pandora is "only" a demi goddess of chaos, which in and of its self is not evil.

About to try my "oatmeal plus raspberry jam" trick with rice instead of oatmeal. Actually pretty good, however because the rice doesn't absorb the water in the jam like oatmeal does it only needs half as much jam that a similar amount of oatmeal. Got a bit soupy. Will eat again. In fact might become my breakfast of choice.

Praise all things lawful good! I just set a new record for noticing a stone and passing it. Of course drinking 7 liters or water in as many hours may have a little to do with that.

For those people that care, the rice cooker does not, repeat does not, summon elder gods. On the other hand, it does make rice quite nicely. Having some with mushroom gravy and butter now.

Just for the record, Red Pandas are called, some times, Fire foxes. They don't need any help in being adorable.

Characters with weird fonts for their voice bubbles seem to end up as being important (see Child Left Behind and Dex) So when is the kid that explained the Star War's revisions going to become important?

My sleep aid works just fine. What it's not is a pain pill. So when I started to feel a micro stone around midnight I woke up. I have been told to not use ibuprofen or any other related meds for it, so I took my light weight migraine meds, which has caffeine in it. Net result, being awake for three hours in the wee hours of the morning. This is not my happy face.

Glasses can and are being made to be shell fragment proof today and are standard issue to combat troops on the US Army. Give Corning a few more years to tweak Gorilla Glass and the glass part of your face is going to be the unbreakable part, unlike that crunchy bone bits.

The defining, if not seminal anthology of cyberpunk, which many video games try to capture the feel, if not the ethos of, is named Mirrorshades. Cool sun glasses are part and parcel of the cyberpunk look and feel, and are as important to the gestalt of the movement as six guns and Stetsons are to the American western mythos. It is almost impossible to conceive of a work with in the genre that doesn't have cool sunglasses at least as a minor scene setting element. It has dawned on me that many of you were not born when Mirrorshades was published and may not know about the founding elements of the games you are playing. This makes me a bit sad.

AccuWeather is predicting rain in 23 minutes, unless you believe the headline, which says we have a light rain right now. 87° Still claiming another thunderstorm this evening. I am going to see if I can find a better weather application for Android. And I found one. The Weather Channel had one that works with out GPS, which is new, I think. Also the base station it's using for my location via wifi is almost within stone throwing distance. Would be in line of sight if I was on the west side of the building and about 100 trees were not in the way. It also says thunderstorms tonight and for the weekend. 60% tonight, 40% for the weekend.
