She pretty much ignores that mouse.  She does swat around the one that I use in bed with my Chromebook.

I think it is time and past time that Putin switches to the lesser known Beethoven Group, which consists of deaf artillerists known for firing barrages to the tune of Beethoven's Fifth, or sometimes his Ninth. I hear he tried to get the Tchaikovsky Group famed for their mercenary marching bands but the Ukrainians got to them first and they are now accompanying the Ukrainians where they spend most of their time playing Marche Slava Ukraina.
The absolutely most hilarious example from the Iraq war was when a squad of hapless Iraqi surrendered to an Italian camera crew (which was of course unarmed.) Unhappily I do not recall whether they were placed in a POW camp run by Italian TV. At least they could be fairly sure of excellent pizza and pasta during their captivity.

A hobby that I almost got into way the fuck back in the day. Might try it now because Morse code isn't a requirement any more.

My neck still hurts. Not sure if laying down is going to help, but I'm going to try.  If it doesn't I'll watch videos on Godzilla or maybe do some data entry for Project X.  I suspect videos.

My right knee still hurts. Meds barely stopping it. I'm seeing myself being back in bed real soon.

While the need for a barbershop quartet is rare, it would seem that this would be a time that they would be needed.

So I'm at the restaurant waiting for my omlette when a cook tells a waitress "we have no bananas".
Why is there never a barbeshop quartet arround when you need one?

Twisted the ever loving fuck out of my right knee. Taken drugs and plan on going to lay down really soon now.

That class of stores were called '5 & 10's  or '5 & dime's; we had several, including a Murphy's. Woolworth's was the heavyweight of the group, with a lunch counter.
We had department stores with actual sales staff, usually multi-floor. I recall the 5 & 10s having less staffing.
I did inventory at a local department store one Christmas break; the group of us went to Woolworth's next door for lunch and had the 'all the clam strips you can eat' for lunch. A group of hungry late teens. 2nd round of clam strips was less than the original order. 3rd round was a side dish of clam strips. It took too long, and we had to leave after that. I guess that's all you can eat.

It's not an ASCII character and phones do not seem to offer easy access to alternate characters. In Windows, you can use Charmap if you are so motivated; it is not generally worth the effort. I found ₵, which looks too large to me. Also this ᴥ puppy nose, and " ... ꜵ ꜵ ꜵ, walk like an Egyptian."

Back when I was a radar tech in the US army I was told, repeatably, that if there was an failure of the system during an evaluation I would be supported in any repair actions I made, even if they turned out to be wrong.  Dithering about what to do would NOT be supported and could lead to disciplinary action.

I will say this: aggression is overall a desirable trait in a military commander. Mistakes of action are almost always better than mistakes of inaction. General McLellan did not really accomplish much while in charge of the Union army, for example.

Blue Cross called right before I left for my iron infusion this morning. They told me everything had been resolved, and that the surgery had been pre-approved. I shouldn't have any further problems with my surgeon.
As for my iron infusion...well, that's a different story.
I arrived at the oncology clinic and went to check in. They told me I didn't have an appointment today, and on further review, my appointment had been moved to Tuesday, November 1st. Why? I asked. They shuffled me over to another person at another computer. She told me that I'd needed 14 days between infusions, and that today (10 days) was too soon. I asked why no one had called me. She couldn't give me a good answer. She didn't even apologize.
So, I am one pissed-off patient, with a newly verified phone number, set for an iron infusion on November 1st. They'd better not reschedule me, or there will be blood.

She seems to be OK, she frequently naps in the dirty clothes hamper, just she went there about an hour earlier than normal.  She did get on the desk this morning, just didn't spend as much time there as normal.  I'm fairly sure that there isn't any thing wrong with her, she acts normal when I go pet her, just she's changed her habits for a day or two.

I'm a little worried about her today, she' only been on the desk for a few minutes.  She's in the dirty clothes hamper right now.  She's not acting sick, she's just not doing here normal morning things today.

That is a bit odd.  I've been called a RINO, but I'm always careful to reply "No, I'm a former Republican, Not The Same Thing".

I have body aches due to the rain. Taken meds for them but they don't seem to be working. Going to lay down in the bed and read. Might nap if I stop hurting, but I'm not really seeing that happening. It's forecast to rain until 1:00 PM Tuesday. Really not gruntled by this at all.

No, but they shouldn't be surprised that we aren't really all that in control of our anger.
