After playing "Hot Potato" with the Dewitchery Diamond, the following people will be left standing in the storeroom. Elliot, Ellen, and Ashley. Essentially as we last saw them before the current round of shenanigans. Sirleck, sans host temporarily. Duplicate Blond Elliot, ie Magus. Duplicate Ellen, but with the mentality of an aberration. Duplicate Ashley, inhumanly calm and serene with the ability to calm anyone or anything with just a glance. Guard and Duplicate Guard. Impossible to tell the difference. They are both cursed.

Why must cats wait for home video? Why can't they pay to see movies in the theatres like the rest of us? This cat is obviously a fan of Hitchcock. Why not enjoy it on the big screen with an audience of like minded cinamaniacs?

Well of course demonstrating dominance over humans always takes priority before asserting your position over a rival cat. -

Which is more powerful? Immortal Hide? Elliot's Go-Seek? And who is It? This could make a pretty good game...
-
That could give Elliot the long sought ability to sense immortals when they are hiding . And if that is a sufficiently spell-like ability, Tedd may be able to observe it and turn it into a wand. Oh how this could really ruin the day for a certain Kentucky Fried Immortal if he now must contend with magically armed human law enforcement agents who can find him even when he isn't on the mortal plane.

Loudmouth's Journey Inside
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to ProfessorTomoe's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Does each cat have a preferred throne? Do the cats switch off? Is there one throne that will always be claimed first if vacant? And which throne has the cushion that eats the remote control? -
While watching a Sports talk show a few days ago, they brought up an embarrassing story about how NBA All Star Stephan Curry of the Golden State Warriors accidentally did a lot of damage to his hotel room by practicing his golf swing indoors. This led the commentators to ask the question, "What was the stupidest thing you ever did as an adult?" I thought about making that a topic in this forum. But I realized it would probably take up far too much bandwidth.

I preferred dealing with his less offensive nephew, Darnocles.

So Tedd changed the mind of a force of nature. Does this mean Tedd can do something about the weather?

Of course her Toga was on wrong. The classic Roman toga was formal wear for men. And just to show that it was not meant to be a practical garment for working men, the wearer actually had to use one hand at all times to keep it in position. Sometimes I wonder how those darn Etruscans managed to dominate the Mediterranean.

Or, what if the on-line flight and hotel booking websites were developed by Pandora, or Adrian, or even Edward, as a way to put many traditional Travel Agents out of business and force Noriko to come home?
-
I do not think I am an idiot. And I believe I had good educational opportunities. But I can not recall ever hearing about the Bonobos and their casual-recreational sex habits until I was out of college. I know it is difficult to discuss sex in a classroom situation. But there had to be some point this subject could have been relevant.

I don't think frozen waffles will threaten the events unless the Olympic Winter Games are held in Belgium. -
Does Tedd actually know this? Zeus, Nanase Mrs Kitsune and Edward know this. Adrian probably knows this. But I don't recall when anyone directly told Tedd that Noriko was anything other than a Travel Agent.

Core personality problem here. Being randomly touched, even with friendly intentions, bothers me a lot. Why do pets seem to enjoy it so much?

Les XXIIIes Jeux olympiques d'hiver
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to Pharaoh RutinTutin's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Thinking of dinosaur type monsters at the Olympics. Back in 1990, the largest and most complete T. rex skeleton known to that point was discovered in Utah and was nicknamed "Sue". In 2002 at the opening ceremonies of the Salt Lake Winter Games, a large reconstruction of the Sue skeleton rose up and peered over the edge of the stadium. At the closing ceremonies, Sue was joined by another T. rex skeleton. They were introduced as "the first family of Utah" and they started dancing outside the stadium. Later in the ceremony, they were revealed to be puppets controlled by Donny & Marie Osmond. The actual first family of Utah. So there is sufficient precedent for Tokyo to include the Atomic Monster. Beijing to include a Dragon. Or LA to include Shaquille O'Neal. -
Why magic does what it does? I'm not sure Dan really knows. And he's the one writing this. No, I am now quite ready to concentrate on the next important piece of Bunny Speculation. Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to hkmaly's topic in Comic Discussion
EGS is a story about a group of teens becoming adults in a world where magic and extra terrestrial intelligence is just part of the crazy with which they must cope. Since the story is about young adults, having older authority figures forced to reassess their point of view by considering the observations of children or other young people is a plot device so likely that it is almost cliché. Even though it may be cliché, it still works. -

Les XXIIIes Jeux olympiques d'hiver
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to Pharaoh RutinTutin's topic in Off Topic Discussion
So now that these Olympic Winter Games are over, are there any grandiose or insane predictions for the upcoming Olympic Games? 2020, Tokyo? 2022 Winter, Beijing? 2024, Paris? 2026 Winter, TBD*? 2028, Los Angeles**? *The IOC will officially select the host for the 2026 Winter Games when they meet in Milan in September, 2019. **The IOC chose LA as the host for 2028 unusually early because LA and Paris were the only remaining candidates bidding to host 2024 and there were no serious candidates preparing bids for 2028. Prediction. Stadium construction in Japan will awaken a long dormant Atomic Monster who will ravage in the countryside in a manner that resembles a man in a rubber suit walking through sets of model trains and papier-mâché buildings. -
