Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to The Old Hack's topic in Comic Discussion
Panel Four Adrian nearly cut through her self deception. Pandora was almost unable to maintain her rationalizations. I am thinking that the Immortal retaliation would be overwhelming if Pandora was ever driven to the point where she no longer believed her own hype. And Voltaire would be there to lead the charge. -
I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I am going to see it again and again. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/amazing-alexander/n9457?snl=1

Why would they want to shape shift? They're cats. The most perfect beings to ever dominate this planet. Just ask them.

I must be sleep deprived. I look at Catalina leaping from Rhoda's jacket and immediately think, "this reminds me of the Birth of Athena". Even one of Little Orphan Annie's "Leap'n Lizzards" would have been more appropriate.

They consistently produce omelets that are never rubbery, runny, milky, or watery.

Only in the vicinity of the Nile. And when the Ptolemaic usurpers took over the family job, they were stuck with the responsibility. Julius, Mark Antony, and Octavius Agustus took the job in the name of Senate under the SPQR banner. Emperor Constantine gave the Job to the Bishop of Rome. Eventually, The Vatican added it to the duties of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon

EGS Pinup for 2016, December 17th (Carol and Heidi)
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to HarJIT's topic in EGS Sketchbook Discussion
Almost certainly staged. Carol Brown and Heidi arranged for the cameras to "accidentally" keep rolling while they attempted to seize their fifteen minutes on a lager stage. Carol and Heidi take to the talk show and lecture circuit advocating privacy rights. Eventually, Carol becomes the reporter for a major network handling all the stories of victims. Especially women and children. Meanwhile, Heidi becomes the go-to actress to play the victim in all the made-for-TV movies based on Carol Brown's interviews. -
I long believed that Adrian's Max and Edward's Jeremy were closely related. The fact that both men had pets from the same litter was evidence of a time the two of them were much closer. I don't recall any specific statement in the comic that directly supports this belief. I don't recall any specific statement in the comic that directly contradicts this belief. Do we know exactly how old Tedd was when Noriko left? I doubt Edward and Adrian would be shopping for pets together after that point.

"Do not pretend this was for me!" Pandora is able to rationalize or justify her actions quite well. But Adrian has no trouble seeing through the lies his mother is telling. Of course, Pandora's lies to Adrian are only a subset of the lies she tells herself. Lying to yourself (or as young Jerry put it, "Believing your own hype") seems to be a significant key to Immortal psychology.

How far did they get via Tall Disguise Rhoda's Confident Walk? is there a secluded corner where the size changes may occur without drawing notice from the mall inhabitants? Would Rhoda or Catalina know they can go to Mall Security and request "Code Spooky" assistance?

So is miniature Cat-Girl Pandora in Bunny costume symbolic of the identity confusion associated with transformative magic? Or is this pure fan-service? -
Don't you just hate it when relatives show up unannounced? Especially when they go on and demand that you do something for them? And about being framed for the Dojo incident? Wasn't Adrian the one who figured out the Pithos was a Red Herring? Actually, I am asking here. I remember Adrian discussing the attack with Noah, but I can't remember all the details and my access to the archive tends to freeze after four pages.

Just got back from the Cracker Barrel where I had Chicken 'n Dumplings and root beer in a frosted mug. Then I picked up some Retro sodas and a giant Tootsie Roll in the gift shop. -
Magic: The Gathering colors of the cast
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to Drasvin's topic in General Discussion
Can I get that printed up on T-shirts, hats, motivational posters, toys, stationary, bumper stickers, business cards, novelties and notions? I'd do it myself, but it seems like too much effort. -

Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to wanderingmagus's topic in Comic Discussion
Wait. If this is the end of part 6 Factorial, shouldn't the next part be 721? As for someone we haven't seen in a while? We know Elliot is meeting Ashley soon, so that shouldn't need a tease. Justin is the only member of the Mane Ate we haven't seen since before the pow wow with Edward Verres this morning. But if this isn't a tease for Justin or Ashley.... Looking back, we really have seen a lot of the supporting EGS cast recently (if we call New Year's Eve and the current NP story recent). So who haven't we seen in a while? The Germahn Labs crew? Magus? Abraham? Principal Verrückt? Or, dare I ask, Phill? -

http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2286 Looking at Panel Four I must ask, are we certain Susan is not related to Adrian and Pandora? And there is nothing wrong with making a strong statement of belief, even if it is not appropriate to the situation. IT IS TIME FOR AMERICA TO END HER ADDICTION TO KETCHUP AND EMBRACE SALSA, BARBECUE, AND SHRIMP COCKTAIL SAUCE. Thank You. -
