http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2286 Looking at Panel Four I must ask, are we certain Susan is not related to Adrian and Pandora? And there is nothing wrong with making a strong statement of belief, even if it is not appropriate to the situation. IT IS TIME FOR AMERICA TO END HER ADDICTION TO KETCHUP AND EMBRACE SALSA, BARBECUE, AND SHRIMP COCKTAIL SAUCE. Thank You. -

Gotta ask. Is the kid next to Tensaided actually with Tensaided? And in the name of all that has many holes, can we somehow avoid sailing the Tensaided / Tall Disguise Rhoda Ship? -

If I am not mistaken, true human history did not begin until the mighty trinity of Hershey, Nestle, and Mars had given their teachings and their recipes to humanity. Everything before the great dawn of Chocolate was an imperfect or embryonic civilization. -
There is a cliché that cats hate water. That is not entirely accurate. Most modern felines just respect the treaties their ancestors negotiated with the crocodilians. Note that those ancient treaties may no longer be enforceable. Plus more than a few kitties now realize that crocs do not inhabit every available body of water. And just to complicate matters, the tigers seem to take to water with exuberance. Almost as if they were directly challenging the crocs to do something about their presence at the water's edge.

If I remember correctly, that was actually the origin of the English Phrase "Cat House".

I'm pretty sure the Keeper never brought up this anecdote before. Perhaps you leaped back from a future conversation?

Counterfeiting coins can be risky. You can easily end up using purer gold or silver than the mints that struck the original coins. For example, the silver penny of Henry VIII was mostly copper. This made it look like the King had a red nose when the silver would rub off. To be fair, Henry VIII had problems that went beyond devalued coinage.

I thought it had been established that Susan's preference was her voyeuristic intentions.

A. It means you have a very high opinion of your aunt, or she has an inflated opinion of herself. B. According to the always reliable Wikipedia: A grand-aunt (sometimes written as grand aunt, grandaunt, or great-aunt) is the sister, half- or step-sister, or sister-in-law of a grandparent. The male equivalent of an aunt is an uncle, and the reciprocal relationship is that of a nephew or niece. Technically, Grand-Aunt is the correct term, with "Greats" showing additional levels of generational separation. But in common usage, many English speakers skip the Grand and go straight to the Great.

Ok, I have uploaded a fresh copy of my profile and cover photos. As for the lack or Emoticons? : ) I do not like green eggs and emoticons. And Professor, Your picture is not currently visible to me.

Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to Scotty's topic in Comic Discussion
I was thinking that the "She's Family. Help Her." line was originally used way back at the end of the first Sister arc. Almost a year ago in comic time. But it turns out it was less than a month ago. This disappoints me. EGS is known for extremely long call backs. Would it be better for the first Susan-Diane Summit to take place at Susan's house where Mrs Pompoms might appear? At Diane's house where her adoptive parents might intrude? Or at a neutral site? Encountering either side of the parental equation brings the possibility of a bad reaction and useful information. -
The most surreal Christmas duet ever. One was dying. And everything about their appearance said they were uncomfortable working together. But somehow, that made the song even more special.

I am still waiting for a more complete telling of Noriko's story. And then I want to know how Tedd reacts to this revelation. One possibility has lodged itself into my imagination and will not be removed easily. The plotline of a person who is threatened or cursed abandoning their family to protect them is a very old one. And it rarely works. Could Noriko have fled Moperville to draw her enemies away from her son, husband, and sister? Nanase's fight on New Year's Eve showed that this plan has failed. Perhaps Noriko was cursed? Did the Oracle at Delphi tell Noriko she would kill her husband and marry her son?

I remember John Glen's Shuttle trip in the 90s. In an interview (from space) with Jay Leno, John Glen revealed that on that space flight, he could have his Tang with either Geritol or Metamucil. -
"Reality" may be made of discrete bodies of matter that are interconnected by energy in space to form a universe, time and life. Or Reality may be random impulses of an unknowable force that somehow create impression of something perceiving something else. Either way, it doesn't matter. If reality is real and there is a universe that can be known, then we should learn all we can to better understand what is around us. If reality is just an illusion, but the illusion appears to follow rules that are indistinguishable from a more physical reality, we should continue learning to better understand the apparent rules. With enough study we may understand the rules underlyiong the illusion that is what we call reality.

I found my way to 910CMX through the link on EGS. How will we lure new victims without leaving them that trail of breadcrumbs?

At least Diane hasn't forced the awkwardness by entering the Video Store to confront Susan on the job. Yet. Susan, you may not want to meet her right now, but it won't get better by waiting.

Hidden Pictures, What's Wrong, Goofus and Galant, The Timbertoes, The Bear Family... Since my subscription lapsed, the only place I see Highlights is in the waiting rooms of medical offices. I guess this means it doesn't also inhabit veterinary offices?
