My favorite episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks has two of the ensigns retrieving a Catian (Cat person) ancient heirloom fertility object (scratching post) for the Catian chief medical officer. After the entire episode of numerous hazards and narrow escapes, they return home with the object ... destroyed. No problem. The doctor tosses the contents. She only wanted the box. (She immediately plays in it.)

It's supposed to be the whole cat, not just their feet.  Don't hurt kitties!

As for Diane catching Noah, Nanase has established that mages can use their magic to subconsciously boost their physical abilities, so she probably tapped into that when she went into “elf mode”.

If you're thinking of dual-booting Windows and Linux, I strongly recommend having two separate drives. Leave the Windows install alone, and install Linux on the second drive.
Then if you need to reinstall Windows, disconnect the Linux drive. Don't trust the Windows install process to keep its hands off.
