According to wolframalpha.com, it's 304,888,344,611,713,860,501,504,000,000 (or a bit over 3*1029) That initially felt wrong, but I took the last six digits of 24! (the last 4 are zeroes) and multiplied it by 25, and the result actually does end with six zeroes. So I think it's correct.

This is why there is such thing as an illegal order, and if you're in the military it's illegal to follow an illegal order. (When I was a kid I knew a guy who had, back during WWII, ordered a general arrested - while wearing corporal's stripes himself. The general had persisted in giving an illegal order even after the corporal pointed out that it was illegal. The order in question was to take a work detail of POWs to the general's home and have them build a barbecue pit,which is hardly the depths of depravity and evil. The general ended up getting a wrist-slap and transferred elsewhere; nothing officially happened to the corporal, but I suspect he got a few attaboys.)

I am only about 75% convinced that Edward is transphobic. And what is being discussed in the comic is Tedd's perception of Edward's transphobia. Which was an entirely reasonable perception when it was formed, but Tedd now has (although possibly hasn't recognized) evidence which could point toward a different possibility: that Edward is still in love with a woman that Female!Tedd strongly resembles. If Arthur can persuade Tedd to (a) consider possibilities other than transphobia, (b) give his father a chance, and (c) talk to him about it (while in any form other than Female!Tedd or Nanase - Ellen-form, Susan-form, Jeremy-form would all be fine), good things could happen. ... or maybe they won't. (And it would be good for the organization, too, if two of the top people in their respective specialties aren't tense around each other and hiding things from each other.) -
I would be unsurprised if female-Tedd looks very much like Noriko at the same age. Male-Tedd certainly doesn't look all that much like his father. Come to think of it, didn't the magic mirror show that similarity? I would also be unsurprised if Edward still holds a lot of love for Noriko, which would make the reminder a bit more painful. And also help explain why, as the kids grew up, he seems to have backed away from his sister-in-law and her family (most specifically Nanase) - by available evidence, probably a bit after the kids entered puberty.

Which source, the people of France routinely ignore. Let alone the people of other French-speaking countries. This is because the philosophy of the Académie Française is that Parisian French, devoid of the last couple hundred years of imports from other languages and particularly from English, is the only true French. That philosophy is not so popular even among the agency's tech-support staff, let alone the businesses across the street. There's also an official authority on the Spanish language, established by Spain. It gets respect and cooperation from Spanish-speaking countries around the world, because its philosophy is merely that the various versions of Spanish spoken around the world (three of which are official languages recognized nationally in Spain) should be kept mutually intelligible for as long as they can manage. Fully acknowledging and accepting that difference will happen and that imports from other languages will occur. -

Pfizer shots here. Not eligible for the booster for another month and a few days. I had a reaction to the second shot. I would not describe it as a bad reaction, but it's fortunate* that I had no time commitments for the day following because I was exhausted. Just that. No nausea, no pain, just wanted to sleep... from about 11 PM the day of the shot to 9 AM the second day after, I was awake for maybe six hours and less than functional for a chunk of that. I've heard that reactions to the booster, for the fairly low percentage of the people who have them, tend to be worse than for the second shot. So I recommend that people have no irrevocable time commitments for the TWO days after the booster. * Pretty normal, actually. I'm retired and MOST days I have no time commitments. In fact I currently have four time commitments this month, three of them already past. -

Maybe try "pink noise". The difference: proper white noise has the same amount of energy at every frequency in the covered range. Proper pink noise has the same energy in each octave. I have my computer playing it nonstop (I mute it when I want to listen to something on the computer) to drown out the blather from the television. For me, it works better than white noise and is less distracting.

Well, neither of the two Chrome-family browsers I have installed allows bookmarks to have tags, and I use them a LOT for certain sorts of bookmarks. So I'm not much interested in Vivaldi. (In the Firefox family, a bookmark can have any number of tags, and for certain purposes a tag acts somewhat, but not exactly, like a folder. By this means, among other uses, a single bookmark can appear to live in several places on your bookmarks toolbar...)
