Which seems a little unfair to everyone who isn't a Patreon supporter, for various reasons, and has no idea their questions are being ignored because he didn't bother to tell anyone outside that inner circle....

Afraid not, but I have had to take an elderly neighbor to the hospital for a nosebleed that wouldn't stop, and years ago my dad had to be treated with a tiny litle bit of cocaine to constrict a blood vessel that other strategies couldn't stop, so all I can advise is to not take nosebleeds too lightly. I know it doesn't help with the current problem, but I figure a reminder that epistaxis can be a real problem too doesn't hurt and might help.

Getting some pretty nice weather here, not yet hot enough to discourage outdoor activity, bouncing between warm coat, windbreaker, and no coat. It was nice and dry today, next couple of days have a chace of rain but after that it should be lovely weather for walking for at least several more days. (Which probably means I'll be tied up at lunchtime all week, except the rainy days, but oh, well.)

Pandora watches television. (Well, either she watches TV, or she keeps up with some other media that discusses TV, closely enough to be very familiar with House, M.D. and his foibles.) I also noticed that in the linked conversation, Pandora never takes on the little girl form, meaning it's *possible* that Adrian doesn't know that's her.....

I suspect her Challenge rating is whatever the maximum level a character can reach is, plus 5.

The best of these quizzes take into account the different perspectives that different readers will have on the characters. It's clear just from our discussions here that some of us think Elliot has moved into being enthusiastic about his transformations, while others think he still sees it as routine. Is there any way we can phrase and/or grade the quiz which will take these different interpretations into account? (This also shows how frustrating creating such a quiz can be, when we have a moving target for some of the answers.....)

Elliot has also done stuff like transforming into Heidi just for fun, and he talked about the fun of being anonymous and (theoretically) shameless. I think somewhere along the line he evolved from having to transform, to liking being able to be someone so different from himself.

I suppose I'd suspect that more if it was Ellen who was jealous of her attention to Nanase, or if Ashley had been paying attention to Ellen instead of Nanase, but jealousy works in odd ways sometimes, and we know Nanase was unhappy when she kept getting sneaky spells. Maybe Nanase wishes she were more like Ashley.

That's what I'm expecting. Laser scan your feet, then 3D print a pair of shoes custom made, complete with adjustments for any medical/orthopedic issues. Could be five years, could be twenty, but it should be within my lifetime. :-)

Justin expressly said he didn't like being in a female body, that it wasn't who he is. I'd put him at a 1: Reluctant, especially since the main reasons he agreed to the swap related to his crush on Elliot, and that seems to be becoming less of a factor for him.

After a foggy start and a drizzly lunch hour, this afternoon has been gorgeous! It's 7:30pm and it's still light out, almost 70°F and not too much wind. If my pup weren't recovering from a cruciate issue I'd be walking him for sure; I may yet take myself for a walk without him if it stays this warm long enough. :-)

Isn't it amazing how much pain some orthodontists expect us to tolerate, especially little kids? They split the symphysis in the roof of my mouth, put spikes on the inside to train me not to tongue-thrust, all sorts of evil things. Perhaps the real reason they prefer to do such work on us when we're young is that grown-ups would never put up with it!

Hmm, you're right, while he's referred to "pawn of Chaos" as if he knows that's a name she's known by, I can't recall any time he's used either of her other names. Maybe this *isn't* directed at Pandora Chaos Raven, maybe he doesn't know that she uses the name Raven. Personally, I've come to suspect Raven was the name of Adrian's father, which Pandora adopted when she was with him. If Voltaire knew her from before then (I can definitely see a long-term rivalry surviving through multiple resets; just look at how quickly college students develop lifelong team loyalties....) then he might not know she's adopted that name. Occam's Razor says he knows Adrian Raven is Pandora Chaos Raven's son, but this particular razor is a bit blunt/dull....

Some topics combine the two, like people who use physics (and very large, very expensive equipment) to try to collect that one last rare particle that they think will complete their collection....

Um, in this case, I made it up in college while I was studying those subjects. PChem especially sealed the deal. It is, however, an obvious enough progression that it is quite likely it's been independently created, in various forms.

You're assuming that everyone who is trans can pass 100% above suspicion as being the gender they identify as. That's about as big an assumption as the people who assume all women have hourglass figures. The people these laws are aimed at are the trans women with Adam's apples, who are tall and muscular and have big hands, whose voices are deep or sound like a falsetto no matter how much they work to modulate them, and so on. Not everyone who's trans can afford several dozen surgeries and thousands of dollars every month in hormones and other medications. Some who can afford them are afraid to have them, or don't feel like they should have to have them just to make a few other people better able to pretend people like them don't exist. And some are so masculine in body structure that nothing will ever allow them to pass. Of course, there are also plenty of cis-women who have a masculine build, or have PCOS-given facial hair, or otherwise will wind up accused of being men trying to use the women's room by these jerks. If all else fails, maybe a few lawsuits from them will help damp down this nonsense?
