https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-112 I wonder, will this make Susan start taking clothes seriously or at least get some? Wasn't she supposed to search for hero of range now?
-
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-111 Alright....so female, apparently is the hero of magic (got the boobs for it), and we're left hanging as to who it is still. The theory of it being Noah has definitely shrunk to nothing, unless Noah happens to be female this time around....though likely not. Considering the puppy remarks, I'm leaning towards either Lucy of Diane as both have referred to Rhoda as a puppy. Would be funny though if it turned out that all three "Heroes" used Rhoda's model.

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-100 ... does it mean she remains at level 1 range? Hey, level 2 range wasn't THAT tall ... although strategically, I agree, higher level in magic has priority. And there are always cosmetic potions. Also, good, we didn't spend three strips on this.

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-098 ... and confirmation that yes, Susan still doesn't need to be afraid of running out of money. Or purity. Also, apparently this was first time it happened since the "cheats off". ... in fact, maybe she lost her purity as well and only now got it back? Would explain that +10% affinity ...

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-071 Yes, later. No reason to interrupt them now. Except, well, Susan has no idea it ended so well.

https://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-069 And that's BEER. Whiskey would be worse. When I first drank strong alcohol (about 40%), I compared the experience to hexetidine-based medicine against strep throat. I still didn't drink enough alcohol to like it, although it's true I didn't tried that many kinds of alcoholic drinks. The one I like most is mix of wine with grape-flavored carbonated drink (turning it technically into sparkling wine), but there is not that much alcohol in it

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-070 Rhoda should also explain she's new to dating as well, as I'm not sure Catalina realized that. Although maybe she did, she IS observant. Carriage-wrecks definitely would be a thing, just in different sense. In case of cars, most accidents are caused by cars either crashing into each other or crashing to somewhere else due to avoiding crashing into other car. In case of carriages, I would assume most accidents would be due to bad quality of roads ; stuff like broken wheel would be quite common, or sliding down from road.Or, failing to brake when riding downhill (which would be likely the example most matching this situation). Note also that while the speeds involved wouldn't be as big as with cars, carriages likely didn't need that much to turn into wreck.

https://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-060 That ... is pretty realistic kind of consequence. The ritual still working but the priest not trying ... Reminds me Dominic Deegan, where not even first heresy of hell - and a WORKING one, with magical consequences - did not actually made a priest not-priest - or, only temporary - but it did made her doubt. Note that it might be because she said it mind-controlled, but more likely because it wasn't actually permanent. However, I would add another twist: let's make possible for the hero to re-take the quest with different monk ... but only if they actively try to. Make not just possible but likely that the PLAYER will forgot this may be an option (because most of quests like this would NOT be repeatable). Maybe quietly add this option after the hero gets technically good as well. Then make sure it's the only way the player can get 100% competition. Along with several others hard-to-notice stuff.

https://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-063 Usually it's the hero doing the recruitment, but she's busy so yeah Rhoda was left alone ... And yes Susan totally has other clothes in hammerspace inventory so not wearing anything must've been to annoy the head monk.
-
https://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-059 Just two hundred? Did she already used 55? Also, to be fair, DID you told Rhoda what you have in inventory, Susan? Hmmm ... is Dan aware of Ragnarök?
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-056 Yep, Rhoda about to hammer some fools. She's quite ripped too, and not talking about her clothes here.
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-054 Oh yes. The reason why noone attacks the enemy during monologuing ... because it's cutscene. Also yes, lot of dark demon masters are big trolls and don't really care about their worshipers ...
-
http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-052 I would say something about if Rhoda really needs to have crisis of faith when surrounded by just-off-screen monsters, but I guess it doesn't really matter if Susan will be grinding few minutes or even hours longer. If she wouldn't be already maxed out she would even get some experiences from that Also, yes, just-off-panel cows makes totally sense.
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-051 Well ... Rhoda, you don't know what bad thinks Susan did! She gave half city various potions and they drank it and get more sexy! ... ok, I don't think it would change Rhoda's opinion. I consider Picard quite annoying sometimes. Also, I think the least annoying admiral in Star Trek is Janeway, and that says something. Not counting Kirk: Admiral Kirk was not annoying, he was annoyed they don't let him being captain. And "low rent" can totally solve homelessness problem if low enough. Like, in real economy, you would need to go below the price of utilities, but in simplified economy of the game, it's totally possible she set rent so low everyone can afford it.

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-050 Good, Susan did remembered to buy some experience potions. I was worried. And regarding friendly fire ... on one hand, general "friendly fire off" option is completely unrealistic. On the other, specifically magic CAN actually allow to exclude some targets ... and most NPC are likely too stupid to dodge and would instead jump into your line of fire all the time so it's really necessary. So, IMHO, to combine realism and playability, make a subset of magic which will never harm friend powerful enough to solve all hostage situations.
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-049 Ok, drawing those monsters would really be superfluous. Susan, I know fire is effective and that you are following Jaya Ballard's example, but, like, from PR standpoint, maybe you should've used different attack, unless you WANT to look like devil. Also, you should be more careful about collateral damage. Does Fable II implement friendly fire?

http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-046 If she prays like this she would likely need some protection against negative influence Now, regarding the fairness of only protagonist getting this treatment ... well ... there are lot of other things only valid for the protagonist. What the priest said about the protagonist not being famous enough notwithstanding, seems like everyone will easily identify them.
-
http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-045 .... ok, I think that this is really weird for Susan ... Also, what exactly she needs to be protected from? Because traditionally there is one aspect of cute girls heroes are very bad at protecting oh wait this wouldn't be issue with Susan.
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-042 Well, we already talked about how "time-sensitive" doesn't really mean anything with how the time work in games like this ... but it's really funny how can someone not be famous when owning half the kingdom. On the other hand, the requirements might be to be famous AS ADVENTURER. Now, why didn't Arthur Arthur mentioned it? Or did he? ... now, about that "show trophy" expression, what kind of trophy are we talking about? BTW, is the cleric supposed to be someone we know?
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-037 Also, just because it make sense doesn't mean you shouldn't warned her, DLC.
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-034 Soooo, this is specifically blonde Susan in that outfit, and definitely not Diane ...
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-036 Sooo, how much for potion to revert this? And will it even matter, with her purity?
-
http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-027 Yeah he totally wanted to sell her weight loss potion next. Now, reduced density with increased volume and same MASS would make you lighter because of buoyancy. However, some body parts having bigger volume would definitely reduce your mobility unless anti-collision algorithm cheats. Regarding the height ... well, the perception of how fast you are depends roughly on how many multiples of body-related sizes you move by. Like, if walking, the actual distance depends on number of steps and length of legs. With longer legs, you travel bigger distance in same number of steps, but due to it being same number of steps it FEELS as same speed. That's why bigger animals seems to move slower despite not being actually that slow. And in extreme case ... I saw a video of big asteroid falling on earth. It looked as moving very slow ... despite falling with speed about 30km/s. It's just that during that second, it moved just like one tenth of it's radius, so ...

http://egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-024 ... from zero to maxed out every 5 minutes ... I see she didn't wanted to leave anything to chance. How long did she needs to go from zero to maxed out MONEY? Also, cosmetic might be interesting, but she wanted to buy the experience boosters didn't she?
