Got to admit if some one did what Grace did in any school I attended someone would talk about it. And ask her to do it again.

'Uphill both ways' is a generational trope. But, yes, I walked down a hill and up another. The phrase is doing double duty. I am aware of this. I frequently add "in the snow! Up hill both ways! And we liked it" to some of my posts.

"You didn't make the bed when you first got up. Too bad. Wait until I get through napping here" - Explorer the Cat.

"OK, good you put The Box back up on the chair. Good, good. Still don't know why it fell over the first time. Really, no clue" - Explorer the Cat.

So a friend of my Mom's found a stray kitten but couldn't take him in because someone in the house is allergic. We offered to foster him until we could find him a home, keeping in mind that I wouldn't mind our home being his home. But when my brother came home and saw the kitten, he basically called dibs. So... Meet Midnight. (also official Zorua fingers reveal) We think he's about a month to five weeks old and possibly self-weaned. We need to get him a bright reflective kitten harness because his fur is basically pitch black and blends in with the darkness. We also probably need to take him to the vet soon-ish. He is currently sprawled out on my lap as I type this. (discarded name suggestions: Chat Noir, Adrien, Bagheera, Ghira, Grue, Brian)

The floating timeline especially becomes an issue when characters’ origins are tied to specific historical events. For example, Marvel’s Captain America and Magneto, and DC’s Wonder Woman, have origins closely linked to World War Two.
